I have it turned off...I'll turn trading back on for short periods of time and a week or so before the deadline.

I'll start posting short little summaries per your request...its a good idea.

I see Hitchcock is trapping his way to the top of the league yet again. Gotta chip 'n chase against the trap, OBG, or you're playing right into their hands...

I didn't have too much trouble getting into the zone...just couldn't get much rubber on net. Poor cycling and closed shooting lanes from the point...

                Oh well...tight game though.

In a nasty 10-2 blowout at the hands of the San Jose Sharks, the St. Louis Blues would rack up 73 penalty minutes-48 in the second period alone-as the two teams would combine for 128 minutes in the sin bin on the night. The Sharks were led offensively by Joe Thornton who would rack up a 1 goal and 3 assists while Devon Setoguchi and Mike Grier would each tally twice in the 10-2 route. Chris Mason is officially on the hot seat as he was pulled after allowing 4 goals in the first 11 minutes of the first period. The Blues in effort to make the Sharks pay for their bravadic domination, injured both Devon Setoguchi and Ryan Clowe for 1-2 weeks.

                  Summary--

Ty Conklin was solid stopping 17 of 19 shots as he is making a major push to take over the #1 goaltending position as Chris Masons inconsistency has cost him the confidence of his team and the favor of head coach Andy Murray.

You may not be, but I'm thrilled to see all the injuries you're picking up. Should be fun to juggle the roster when I finally get a dynasty going. Midpoint report coming soon?

Yeah...I've been fortunate that my forwards have stayed healthy. And yes, I'll do reports at the 41-game marker with news from around the league and the team...a report at the 60 game marker (or most likely the trade deadline)...and then, of course, the end of the season with a playoff preview.

                                Havin' fun, though.
