A minor change I would suggest is maybe providing one more category for goalie stats like GAA.

Honestly, while your at it can I give you some other ideas for tables...like player stats...standings.

Standings is a pretty simple thing...you could surely do a good one without any advice.

But I, having no knowledge of the craft of html, have always struggled with displaying my team player stats during my monthly recaps. Its hard to get them to line up. For example:

Malkin 74 GP 34 G 74 A 111 Pts...or should I go...
Malkin 74GP/34G/74A/111PTS...both look stupied especially when the players obviously have different amounts of letter in thier names, thereby screwing up the whole effort to make it look nice at all.

If you could make a table for team stat updates (in which case I do post every player on the teams stats) I would be so greatful as it would improve the quality of my work tenfold.

If you could include the following stats:

GP: games played
G: goals
A: Assists
PTS: Points
+/-
SOG: Shots on Goal
PIM: Penalties In Minutes
PPG: Power Play Goals (optional)
SHG: Short Handed Goals (optional)

And for goaltenders...

GP: Games Played
W: Wins
L: Losses
OTL: Optional maybe since NHL 10 doesn't record this at all for goaltenders, throwing them all into the loss column.
GAA: Goals Against Average
SV%: Save Percentage
MIN: Minutes Played

My stat updates need a serious overhaul.

This is awesome...its like taking my franchise to "What Not To Wear", but instead of Stacy and Clinton its Pujols4MVP.

Yeah any ideas you guys have for future tables you'd like to see done, please share them. Just post the details in here and I'll do my best to make it happen... even if the idea sounds like it's not doable, still, post it because I can at least attempt to create it. I like the new layout, but is it possible to add the skaters stats to the bottom of the layout like they were in the first version?

If it's not too much effort maybe have 2 different box scores. 1 detailed and the other simplified. Some guys will detail every game while others do weekly recaps.

I agree with OBG about Standings templates and player season stats tracking.

Maybe for playoffs you can have a template where we can compare two teams like you see on actually sports websites like TSN or ESPN.

That looks good Pujols. I am happy to see something that we will be able to use to get a great looking table to use.

I also like the idea of future tables for Standings (Maybe one that people can pick the number of teams to put in it, since some do a division standings and others do conference standings).

Yeah there will be two versions of this guys... the simplified version will be this version, and the more detailed version will replace the key statistics table w/ skater stats. And for the skaters, if you don't want to fill in all 18 slots for each team, you just fill out how many slots you want. Actually all of these generators will be like that, you will all see what I mean when they become available for use.

There is also another cool feature Steve thought of that you guys should really like, but I'll keep quiet about that until I get everything ready to go.

The first generator will be up in about 30-45 minutes. It's the simplified NHL table... the more detailed NHL table will follow in a few hours and then I'll also get the MLB generator done tonight. Just a heads up.

It's really nice and we appreciate all the hard work. I know I'm a little late to the game but I would vote for a scoring summary rather than key stats for both teams. Since our franchises usually focus more on the team we're covering? Just my two cents for what they are worth

I know I feel like a kid before Christmas. It's nice to see the higher ups giving us some recognition. We appreciate you care enough about our work to give us some useful tools. Should make all our dynasties much nicer.
