Pujols, is there a way for your table to calculate the goalie save percentage and GAA based on the shot totals?

If you can I can give you the formula, it's really easy.

Also, any way to get fields for a box score, I mean listing goals and assists kind of like I did in my excel example?

Just tried the generator for my Dynasty and it worked really good, no problem at all. I really like this idea of a generator it really make the job of posting results easy.

Okay everyone, I think we're back in business. I just completely went through and wrote up the code for the generator... so with that, we shouldn't have any more problems. In order for this to appear right you (for testing purposes) you have to AT LEAST make a selection in the "Game Ended In" drop-down menu -- that tells the script whether or not to display the overtime field, a shootout field or just the standard 3 periods and a final score.

Be sure when you finish filling out the form and submit, you copy/paste the entire code . If you miss part of the code, the table might be messed up. I have made a test table and I will post it here, this is what the final outcome should look like if you fill out all of the required fields... otherwise, you've done something wrong:

Looks good, except it looks like you might have missed some of the code, so it's stretching the entire width of the post. Other than that its right!

TO ALL: Since I had to go back through and re-code this generator, the MLB and other NHL one will come tomorrow. Hopefully this one works a little better and we'll have no more problems. By the way, the really awesome feature I said Steve thought of will be displayed in the two generators tomorrow.

Nevermind...I went to your testing thread (seemed more appropriate) and tested it there.

I got it to work just fine, but I had to copy and paste actual table and not the code in order for it to work for me.

It's strange... it's still not right. The top bar is missing (has the date and team) and I'm just not sure what's going on. Can you try posting it in a blog and seeing if it looks right there (the whole code)? Thanks.

Thanks for this Pujols. I just tested it out and it is great for me. I did not have any issues, except for I had double () around the team record because I didn't know just to put it as 1-0 instead of (1-0). More of a User error. But everything looks good.

I noticed if i don't do any key players stats, that the table doesn't include blank spots, which is great.

Can't wait for more to come out. Are you planning to do this for all the sports. I know you have a baseball one coming out. But football and basketball too?

Glad to see this is working as it should... Putte found the reason behind some of the errors you guys are coming across with posting the table in the forums. You will never have any issue posting it in blogs, but when posting it in the forums you have to be sure you don't:

1. Preview post before posting it.
2. Edit that post.

If you edit a blog the code will still be there, but for the forums it is different and I can't think of any possible way around this other than the users being completely sure they're ready to make the post.

I have tried that, but when ever I try to Preview Post, my net just falls and it doesn't work for me. You have done great job here and its just my laptops fault that I can't use this.

Pretty cool table Pujols. If I wasn't reporting a bunch of games at once I would definately use this.
