Later that night as Allison had fallen asleep at about 11 I had phoned Mike Gillis. He answered the phone sounding half asleep but I don't care.
I asked him if there was any job as the ice crew or any job at all that was available.
He had told me there were 2 positions available on the Ice Crew and they had to be Ice Scrapers. Preferably female with nice bodies. I told him I would send him 2 applicants right away.
I text Brenda with Mike's phone number and told her that he was looking for an Ice Scraper that was a female. She replied back thanking me and wondered why Shane didn't tell her...
I finally dozed off to sleep while watching the free porno that comes to the hotel.
In the morning I was awoken to a pillow being smacked across my head.
"WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD!" yelled Allison at about 5 in the morning...What sleep I got last night,boy oh boy.
"I am up,I just got to bed late last night..."
"Yeah,I can see that...Look over at the TV. I know what you were doing last night 'big-boy' hehe"
"Yeah,well you were asleep so...yeah."
"Oh I guess your right. Sorry champ"
"It's alright babe,listen. I phoned Mike last night and I got you a job,well if you want it. He said you could be apart of the Ice Scraping team."
"WHAAAT!? NO WAY! THAT'S BEEN MY DREAM! YAYYYY!"
"Well,I'm glad to hear that. Hopefully that will get me one spot closer to making the big leagues..."
After my shower and coffee that the heavenly Allison made we were on our way to the MTS Centre in Manitoba to play the Abbotsford Heat,they were here for 2 games back to back on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Once we arrived at the MTS Centre Allison gave me a kiss good luck and told me that to score with her again,I myself would need to score.
****,if that wasn't motivation I don't know what is...

Going through my head was what Allison had said the night before. "To score with her again,I myself would need to score." Well I did score so she put up with her end of the bargain.
Let's just say I'm pretty much a happy camper right now besides travelling to the **** hole of Lake Erie to play the Colorado Avalanche affiliate,the Lake Erie Monsters...What a name.
The only really decent player that Lake Erie has is Ryan Stoa and he isn't even that good of a player. This should be an easy 2 game series to take on the road.
Allison and I were pretty pumped to go sight-seeing when we arrived in Lake Erie,although there wasn't much to see...
