What would it take to let me borrow Ovechkin for a few games in my BAP with the Blue Jackets?

          Re: Washington Capitals

          Thomas/Johansson/
          Perreault/Ovi, Godfrey?

          Washington Post:

4/2/2011: Finally being cleared to play, Thomas Fleischmann re-enters the line-up after missing a couple of games with a sore shoulder. With his return, someone had to go.

"I`m glad I`m back. Sitting up in the press box is no fun." Fleischmann.

One of these two players, Marcus Johansson and Mathieu Perreault, were most likely to be recalled back to Hershey because of thier two way contracts. And after a two game analysis (Monteal and Tampa) Johansson (29NHL games, 4-11-15, 1) was the one sent down.

"It sucks, I thought I was doing well. But if you look at the numbers, I guess my fellow player is doing much better." Johansson.

Perreault, who has only played in 16 NHL games this year, has potted 5 goals and tallied on 9 others while posting a big +9. Since the All-Star break, only 2 games though, he has been ripping it up with 4 goals and 2 assists (Must be the added PP time he has been granted).

"I was called up and I want to make a great impression. I want to stay." Perreault.

Another player who has been on fire since the All-Star break has been Ovi, who has kept up his playmaking affair with 5 assists, he also tallied 2 goals.

          -----------------------------------------------------------------------

4/2/2011: Godfrey, who was called up from Hershey to fill in with the Green and Poti trades, has more or less played a defensive shutdown role on the 3rd pairing - splitting time with either Sloan or Erskine. And has down farily well sporting a +7, but a unique talent has been witnessed, his slap shot.

"He doesn`t get alot of time on the ice so we don`t get to see it often, but when he does wind up, man its a howlitzer." Boudreau

Rated at 93 by EA, his shot is hard but not very accurate, which is something he will need to work on during the rest of the season and off-season. To help weld his gift, Godfrey will begin to play on the 2nd PP unit and hopefully garner some excellent specialty team experience.

You can redeem yourself by breaking Gretzky's record, and maybe his legs too.

Now that would be a feat and a half.. He's only averaging 1.69/game which would compute to 138 points, so I think I'm going to disappoint you there as well.

Ovechkin mght score more goals this season than my entire Columbus team combine, not good (at least on my end).

Enjoying the read. Try and keep everyone healthy during the stretch run and playoffs.

To be honest, he`s just in the right place at the right time. I`ve played with the Pens before and I have never been that productive with Crosby/Malkin - he`s a machine.

But I can`t cross out Backy or Semin either - both have hit the 30 goal mark and there seems to be no end in sight.

Haha, like I have said before, he is a goal machine. But as of late his playmaking skills have picked up a notch and he`s more on the score sheet for assists then tallies.

Plus with the weird progression bug I seem to still have all his points seem to be going to 'Faceoff Attribute' and now he`s rated 76 in that catergory - and it looks like anytime he takes the faceoff he wins, Ovi the centerman watchout Backy.

Thanks, yeah keeping healthy will be a key. I play with 15 forwards so I think I will be okay there, now on d I might be introuble. Might need to bring in an extra body at the deadline

Thanks guys for following - love all comments, keep them coming.
