Re: St. Louis Blues (with OS created players) (NHL 11 Be a GM)
ASSOCIATED PRESS, 2012
Kelowna native Nathan MacDonald struck gold last night at the World Hockey Championships in Sweden/Finland when Canada defeated France in a thrilling Gold Medal Game. MacDonald was on a top pairing with Crosby and seemed to find some instant chemistry as Crosby assisted on many of his 9 goals in the tournament.
On the ice, after the game TSN's Pierre Maguire interviewed MacDonald and asked him if this was a good replacement for the cup and his response was "Nothing replaces the cup, I'm so proud to represent my country the way I did and I'm just going to enjoy the moment right now". There was speculation that MacDonald blew up in the locker room and outed some players for not stepping up after bowing out in the first round to St. Louis in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Rumors coming out of Columbus that this may have ruffled some feathers in the locker room.
MacDonald, wasn't available today for comments following the game, but we hope to setup an interview with him when he arrives back in Kelowna in a couple of days, where he participates in a annual charity golf event.

Proposed Re-Alignments
Alignment 1
Alignment 2
Alignment 3
Ok guys which one do you like the best, or do you have any suggestions for a different alignment.
Also check out the first post on this page and let me know if you think any of those name suggestions are decent.Last edited by thedudedominick; 05-31-2011, 09:11 PM.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Re: St. Louis Blues (with OS created players) (NHL 11 Be a GM)
I hope this isn't getting too complicated but here is my 2 cents:
#1 - Hate it, completely wrong
#2 - This one makes the most sense and a lot of people would remember the old Detroit vs Toronto rivalries and the renewed Patrick division rivalry between Pittsburgh and Washington but the Central is now a weak division and some would hate to see Detroit in the East now.
#3 - This is my pick. The reason why is because there is still great groupings, with rivalries intact and not too many drastic conference changes.SENS -

Hate the second one. The first one is okay, but my vote goes to the third alignment because it makes the most sense to me.
As for team names, I vote for Quebec Aces and Seattle Seals.
Can you somehow edit the AHL affiliate scheme in the game? Never tried it, would be interedting.Calgary Flames --- Pittsburgh Steelers --- Manchester United

I'll go with the Seattle Seals, which I would be honored to tend net for in the future. I like the divisions with Seattle and Edmonton together.......tee heeTEAMS

Looks like it will be the Quebec Aces and the Seattle Seals. Also as long as there isn't any major opposition from the guys that haven't posted yet we will be using the third alignment.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Just waiting on Norton, Cooper, and Askola to settle on what team they want, and to see if Morrow or Ortegel have a preference for a team, if not they will be free agents to start off.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights
