    Re: The Ottawa Senators Thread

    Re-signings:

Kuba $1.475M/1YR - Kuba is a veteran, and we feel he can teach the young people about hockey. He is also good trade bait.

Lessard - $0.525M/2YR - For less then a million, we signed Lessard. He is a great call-up, but will spend most of his time down in the AHL

Carkner - $1.325M/1YR - Great tough guy, we want him back.

Konopka - $0.975M/1YR - Also tough, Great in AHL

Conboy - $0.975M/1YR - We need another RW, now that Alfie is gone.

Winchester - $1.345M/2YR - Great in the AHL.

    Rookie Signing:

Zibanejad ~ $0.895M/3YRS - We feel he has to make his AHL debut this season if we want to bring him up to NHL in near future. He had his time down in the other league.

Silfverberg - Need a LW down in AHL. With B Potential and 75 overall, we signed him.

    Released:

Parrish - No need for him anymore.
    Locke
    Gilroy
    Fraser

                  Re: The Ottawa Senators Thread

With Condra injured with a broken hand for 7 - 8 weeks, the Ottawa Senators recall Stone from Baby Sens to play his 1st NHL game against Columbus.
Stone will join Silfverberg and Smith on the 3rd line.

                  Winchester got claimed by Phoenix.

                          Trade Done
The Ottawa Senators have shipped off Nick Foligno, Sergei Gonchar and 2 2nd round picks (2013/2014) to Philadelphia for Voracek and Timonen.

We feel like Voracek will add to our scoring depth and replace on our 1st line, while Timonen will join the 2nd like D.

                            Didnt save stats.

The Winnipeg Jets DESTROYED the Sens 7-4.

Two Winnipeg players both got 5 points.
Antropov got 2G and 3A, while Wheeler got 1G and 4A
