Leafs BE A GM/CAP sim chise

Hey guys, dont worry I haven't started this yet I'm just doing some of the prelim on getting up to the 2012 draft etc.

So a review of the basics:

- I will be starting as GM of the Maple Leafs

- This chise is a sim only chise as I don't have enough time to play full games

- simming will be in one month increments when I have the time to do so

- CAP'S will be added into the 2012/2013 draft as requested

- updates will be added in one month increments

- updates will include stats on my club and the CAP'S

- the 11/12 season will be simmed up to the draft so we can begin with CAP's involved

- I will keep updated CAP stats in the second post of this thread so you can view it at anytime without digging

- I am using a roster set from a few months ago so contracts like the Liles and Grabovski deals are not in it, I chose to use this roster set because it has many, many created real life prospects that EA did not include in the game for whatever reason

- please feel free to leave requests in this thread IE) hey dynasty my favorite team is Colorado, where are they in standings? Or hey dynasty I really like kris Kreider, what are his stats right now? And I will do my best to answer you in a timely fashion, all I ask is if you request a players stats or something along those lines, please tell me what team they are affiliated with, just in case I don't know, it will save me time digging around

- as a personal request from me to you, please if you take the time to come here and read this, leave a comment from time to time. Even though I can see the views climbing if no one posts comments I start to think people read it just for something to do, not because they enjoy it

Just a quick update here guys, everyone is created I just have to input you all into junior teams and start simming the 11/12 season.

Having limited time sucks but this is getting closer to starting!

Yeah I just randomized where the guys who didn't mention what draft they wanted, but I don't remember where you ended up

everyone was randomized onto teams lions, I will say who went where though when I get this running.

hey guys, i just did some test simming and everything checks out A-O-K :P

I have created the base sheet for our CAP tracking, it is a sample pic of me i would like everyone to have a look at it (it is found in the second post of this thread) and tell me their thoughts and if you would like anything added.

everything will be done in your current team colours (ie i just put toronto as where i got drafted for this sample so everything is done to a blue and white theme, boston would be black and gold, etc etc..

as for start date once i get the CAP'S stat sheets done, i need to create them all and post them then i will start the actual chise, so soon as i get enough feedback as to wether people like that format or not, i can continue on.

and just cause i know people will ask, in the test sim it looks as though we all went in the first 2 rounds of the 2012/2013 drafts but i do have to stress that it was a test run of the program to make sure everything was going to be done correctly and i havent started this yet :P

The image, doesn't look to bad. I found, that it's a little bit hard to read.



I was reading another one. Do a player card type thing. My best suggestion if someone could Photoshop. Is that you can get a picture {in-game} of each of us. Have our name, position, and our stats to the side.

I was reading another one. Do a player card type thing. My best suggestion if someone could Photoshop. Is that you can get a picture {in-game} of each of us. Have our name, position, and our stats to the side.

sadly i just dont have the time to go into this much detail, and yeah i agree that it can be a bit hard to read though
