Re: Something in the Making: Lam Matteo (PES 2009)
I´ve been reading back, but cannot find who the 16 clubs are that are participating this season. Why did you throw in Celtic (and I'm guessing the Rangers as well?), and why are there 4 clubs missing?
Btw, Owen Coyle needs to start putting things in perspective right about now. :P He remains positive, but the Wolves need to get it together. Go Wolvesssssss.
Keep up the work! It's fun to see you keep changing things around with the layout and reports, though these current detailed reports probably take up a loooot of time, don't they?Comment

Okay here is the setup, remember it's a Master League, so only 16 teams for first division:
1st Division: Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, Everton, Portsmouth, Celtic (NEW), Hull City, West Ham, Man United, Rangers (NEW), Birmingham, Aston Villa, Fulham, Wolves, Blackburn
There is a second division, so relegation/promtion is back in - however, I lost my notes on who they are. Basically I did include the teams that are missing..so Burnley, Wigan, West Brom...can't think of the others.
The report is actually the quickest for me. Not much photoshop needs to be done, just grab pics - create a vid file if Matteo scores. Pretty routine. I just wish PES 2010 was a decent game for BAL so I could include screenshots of more "current gen" instead of the past that is PES6.
Alas, it's all about gameplay - and I'm having a blast with PES6.Comment

Re: Something in the Making: Lam Matteo (PES 2009)
Thanks for clarifying. :P Get the pic on the leagues. Should make it more interesting. And since this is in like 10 years, it could even make sense.
Most important thing is that it stays interesting for you to play and keep posting. And if this is easier for you, then good! Cause in this format they're also still great to read.
I totally understand your concerns with pes10 though. I HATE the AI in the game. It's terrible, and it's even more upsetting because they (konami) said it has improved a lot since pes2009. Ehm... no...
What I did with my BAL, was just to get the game time up to 15 or 20 minutes (I usually play 10 mins matches), so I wouldn't get frustrated with my teammates anymore, because I would say to myself there's plenty more time... Put it back to 10 minutes now though, starting to score way too much in longer matches. It's not even realistic. Another point... BAL has become easier in this new version. Player improves way faster.
Gonna end this post, it's starting to look like a game report now...Comment

I agree completely, the AI has gotten worse. Even with modifications - which I did to the option file to test - it still did not work, changing levels didn't help either, it was just frustrating because I really did not want to merge to PES6 until absolutely necessary.
Here's to hoping PES11 goes the right way...Comment

Re: Something in the Making: Lam Matteo (PES 2009)
Hey Matt, I was wondering would I be better off buying PES 2009 for the PS3 for £4.47 or saving abit of money and buying Football Manager 10 for the PC for £17? Im only fourteen so money is scare.
Also loving this move to Wolverhampton it seems to be working quite well for Hurst. I'd just like to know are you ever going to move to Spain, France, Italy etc. or just stay in England?Egypt: 2010 WC Dynasty -http://www.operationsports.com/forum...fifa10-wc.htmlComment

The move to Wolves has been solid - and from what I'm seeing, there's no plans to move away yet.
Going to try my best to update the Prem Cup tie against Pompey - been putting it off, apologies.Comment

I would like to do abit of BAL and maybe start a little thread of myself, obviously not reaching the popularity of this mighty thread and Hurst's. Both of which im addicted too

Re: Something in the Making: Lam Matteo (PES 2009)
Bad News.
PES6 won't work on my cpu anymore. No idea why, I've tried all the reinstalls - even installed in safe mode and on another computer - think the disc has had it.
RIP PEs6.
So this means we are back to PES10 PC. Of course the storyline will revert, and I am beginning the fun process of deleting posts from PES6 games.

Fixture: 4
Aston Villa v Wolves
2-1
Doyle 49'
Delfouneso 69'
Delfouneso 84'
-----
Caution: None
Coyle's men drop to Four losses
Nathan Delfouneso saves embarrasment for Villa faithful
Johnson Peoples, wolves.co.uk
After losing 1-0 to Everton in the 3rd fixture, Wolves would again drop the ball...
"This was a match to win - we failed to take advantage of their weaknesses."
Next Match: v West Bromwich Albion (Away) - 19th, 0 pts
Something's wrong
Matteo can't shoot - Wolves can't win
The offseason was full of promise - and now that Matteo has regained his name as a top player - why is it he can't find the back of the net consistently?
