"It's a season sweep at The Rock for #33 Harry Gant leading the last 66 laps of the race for his 3rd victory of the season and the 4th of his career in 97 career starts"

      "Race Recap"
It's was a battle out there today with many drivers with little to no patience with the driver in front of them causing many mix ups and close calls through out the race. #11 Darrell Waltrip looked to have this race in hand, but a late race wreck by a lapped car gave the victory to #33 Harry Gant which also won the spring race here and has his only pole at The Rock last season. As far as the season points standings go every driver has now been eliminated from contention except #11 Darrell Waltrip and #28 Bobby Allison, but with another DNF for Allison Waltrip leads by 262 points with 2 races to go and seemingly has it all, but locked up after Allison had dominated the middle portions of the season with 7 wins total and 6 top 2 finishes in a row including 5 of those 7 victories. Waltrip only has 2 victories on the season, but 14 top 3's has been more than enough to put him in the position he is in now. #44 Terry Labonte moved into 3rd place in the standings over taking #2 Dale Earnhardt and Labonte trials Waltrip by 476 points. There was 8 cautions for 32 laps and 8 different drivers each exchanged the lead 10 times during the race.

      #11 Darrell Waltrip "Laps 95 through 179"
      #33 Harry Gant "Laps 180 through 246"

      "Video Recap"

      "#23 Bryan Dehn's Day"
I don't know how I finished in the top 5 today. The first half of the race was a good one where I was able to stay in the top 10 and have tough battle on each and every lap, but once I made that mistake to go a lap down it seemed that every car that I was around I got into trouble with. Lots of cars were pushing people around today and I came out of a couple bad situations without causing any more issues, but getting back onto the lead lap late and with the amount of caution flags that flew I was able to stay on the lead lap with a busted up car to give me a 4th place finish.

Re: Rewriting the history of NASCAR (Starting in 1980)

The site I was hosting my pictures on deleted all my files. I was inactive for almost 2 years and come back like I used to and now they say it was inactive. heh, ok.... So in not so many words they say I have to make it an actual website which I am going to do so I don't get them deleted. That's fine too, but it will take me some time to upload all the pictures again then make it a semi-functional website. As if the offseason isn't long enough with the painting of 200+ cars and rating them all and other things. I'm going to re-upload backwards so I can get Atlanta's race up (100% finished) and the season finally which I was planning on running Monday, but might wait til Friday now.

          yay for more work.......

"#90 Jody Ridley & Ford wins their 2nd race of the season. For Ridley this is his 4th victory in 72 career races"

            "Race Recap"
#90 Jody Ridley wins the race today, but #11 Darrell Waltrip locks up the battle with one more fight left to run. #28 Bobby Allison has dominated all season, but when you can't finish all your races you can't win the big prize at the end of the season. #42 Joe Ruttman finished 4th today locking up the Rookie of the Year title over #5 Morgan Shepherd which has been coming along strong these past few races, but ends up short with one race left to go as well. How event full with the road course race at Riverside be next week? Waltrip has been really good at road courses so even with a good run today by Allison it would have been really hard to gain back the lead and win the championship. Ruttman won the last race at Riverside so the forgone conclusion just took place a week early it seems from recent history. There was 2 cautions on the day for 8 laps and 13 different drivers exchanged the lead 32 different times during the race.

            "#23 Bryan Dehn's Day"
Only thing I have to race for right now is pride and a solid finish so I can try and carry it into next year. Well the one thing that has been causing me bad finishes my whole career so far is not being able to get around cars that are pitting. Once I figure this issue out I will be fine I think as long as I'm still around when that happens.
