Yeah that was a bit shocking, but I decided to run with it.

      Glad everyone loved the vignette.

I will say one thing...I am already loving my more streamlined Universe even better this year as I feel I can put more into storylines and not have to have too much going on.

        LIVE from Detroit, MI

The show started off just as RAW did with Cody Rhodes talking to Goldust about finding him the perfect partner. Goldust tries to talk him out of it, but Cody tells him to trust him again. Goldust just shakes his head as Cody walks off.

The first match of the night saw Natalya continue her winning ways in the new era by defeating Layla via the sharpshooter.

In the next match Los Matadors made their way to the ring for their match. Out came Goldust followed by Cody Rhodes. Goldust tried to talk to Rhodes but Rhodes pointed to his head and then motioned for Goldusts partner to come out. Out came Sin Cara, wearing gold and black outfit with gold and black mask. Goldust just shakes his head and heads to the ring. Just like on RAW, the inexperience of Goldust and his new partner was too much to overcome as Los Matadors came up with the win over Goldust and Sin Cara. After the match Goldust tried to talk to Cody but he just stormed off acting like he had new idea and Goldust just followed shaking his head.

Backstage we see Mark Henry walking into Triple H’s office. We hear him ask if he wanted him. Triple H say come in and the door closes behind him.

In singles action Rob Van Dam faced off with Jack Swagger. Swagger used his technical background to get an early advantage on RVD. Swagger worked over RVDs legs but RVD fought back and hit some kicks and some high octane offensive moves including a spinning legdrop. Swagger fought back and took RVD down again. Swagger took a low shot taking out RVDs legs with a shoulder block but RVD fought back and was able to hit rolling thunder for a 2 count. The action wend back and forth for several more minutes until Swagger hit a gutwrench bomb and got the 3 count.

Backstage we see Ryback walking around when he walks past Triple H’s door just as Henry is coming out. He accidently bumps into him but Henry looks at him and the two big men face off before being separated.

In another match featuring former World Champions and competitors in the recent IC Contenders tournament Chris Jericho faced off with Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio took it to Jericho early and took him down with a tilt a whirl backbreaker but Jericho fought back with some quick chops and kicks and took Del Rio down and worked over his arm. Jericho delivered a reverse suplex and lionsault on Del Rio. Jericho was in complete control except for a few short moments in this match and defeated Del Rio after hitting the Codebreaker and then locking in the Walls of Jericho. After the match Del Rio attacked Jericho and locked in the cross armbreaker on him.

In the semis of the IC Contender’s tournament Shelton Benjamin and Wade Barrett faced off. Barrett too Shelton down with some power early, but Shelton used his quickness to get the upperhand and take Barrett down with a headlock. Benjamin hit Barrett with a belly to back suplex then worked him over on the ground. Back to their feet Benjamin continued the assault with a high octane offense. Barrett raked the eyes and hit a suplex. Barrett tried to continue the advantage but Shelton fought back hitting several moves in succession and got a 2 count after a cradle throw. He got back up and hit the Paydirt for the win.
After the match Cesaro made his way to the ring to face off with Shelton. As the two men got in each other’s faces, IC Champion Big E Langston made his way to the entrance ramp and help up his IC Championship belt. All of this post match action brought out Triple H who announced that he loves the competitive nature of things so on SNME this week Shelton Benjamin and Cesaro will team up to face Big E Langston and a partner of his choice.

In the main event, US Champion Dean Ambrose defended his title once again against an opponent he did not know of beforehand. As Ambrose stood in the ring Triple H came out and let Ambrose know that for his opponent tonight he picked someone who knows how to deliver a lot of damage, Mark Henry. The crowd is stunned and so is Ambrose but as Henry is heading to the ring Ambrose cuts him off by attacking him on the ramp. Ambrose used his speed and offensive attacks but Henry used his power to get the advantage. Henry had the upperhand throughout the match hitting successive World’s Strongest Slams on Ambrose. Just as Henry was going for the pinfall…MORE MORE MORE was heard on the speakers and out came Ryback to the entrance which distracted Henry who started yelling at him. This distraction was just enough to allow Ambrose to get back up and hit Dirty Deeds on Henry for the win. Once again Ambrose quickly left the ring, grabbed his belt and left through the crowd. Meanwhile up the ramp, Mark Henry goes after Ryback and the two big men fight to the back.

Backstage we see Triple H watching everything that went down and goes ballistic as once again Ambrose walked away with the US Championship.

Triple H CAN'T be happy with Ambrose escaping again and figured throwing in a backstage thing with Ryback and Henry was a good way to start up a new feud.

Besides everything going on with the Shield and the Authority, I'm also interested to see who Big E comes up with as his partner. SNME is always an amazing card so I'm sure it'll be great.

Plus of course I can't wait to see Cody come up with a permanent replacement partner for Goldust.

Ryback and Mark Henry could be something big going there. I wonder what Mark was talking to Triple H about.

It was him having Henry try and take care of Ambrose in the Main Event on SD.

Sami Zayn the NXT champion... You gotta love it.

Plus, I can't wait until "the hunt begins"

Yeah, I ran with Zayn winning and I have to figure out where to go with Neville (I have a couple of ideas)

And I have to determine when "the hunt begins"

The night started off with Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston coming to the ring awaiting their opponents. First, Goldust came out followed by his brother Cody Rhodes who has been trying to find the perfect partner for Goldust to no avail so far. He comes out and says he has found a better partner than his previous two choices and out comes R-Truth. Goldust is still disappointed as he just wants Cody to be his partner but seems willing to go along with it finally. Goldust and Big E started off the match. Goldust started out strong against the IC Champion but Big E fought back using his power. He took Goldust down and worked him over. Kofi tagged in and charged at Goldust who took him down with a bodyslam but Kofi fought back whipping Goldust into the ropes and hit him with a big clothesline. Kofi tagged Big E back in and the two men used quick tags to keep the advantage. Goldust tagged in R-Truth and Kofi got in quick kicks to get him down. R-Truth tagged Goldust back in and he worked over Kofi a bit. The finish came when Kofi was able to hit Trouble in Paradise on R-Truth to get the win. After the match R-Truth left while Goldust and Cody faced off but Cody left the ring saying he has it this time. You could see him yelling SMACKdown to Goldust as he left. Goldust just hung his head low.

After a break Triple H, Evolution, and Kane came to the ring. Triple H addresses the SHIELD. He tells Ambrose that he has gotten lucky the past couple of weeks holding onto the Unites States Championship and you were lucky Ryback interfered last week, but believe me when I say that your title reign WILL end soon. Now, Ryback I will address you in a minute. Rollins and Reigns you will have a match tonight. I was approached by a man earlier today and have offered his team a shot at the tag titles if they take care of you tonight and I have agreed so later tonight Rollins and Reigns you will face the Wyatt Family. As for you Ryback, you want to interfere where you don’t belong, well tonight you can face Mark Henry in singles action. As for tonight’s main event John Cena will face Brock Lesnar in the main event.

In the next match Ryback faced Mark Henry. This relatively new feud started last week when the two big men bumped into each other in the back and then Ryback helped Ambrose retain his US Championship later in the night. Ryback went after Henry immediately and was able to take him down. Ryback hit a big suplex on Henry and then beat him down on the back of his neck. Henry fought back and hit a couple of slams on Ryback. Ryback beat henry back and actually hit him with a press slam and a running STO followed by the Shellshock to pick up the win.

In the next match of the night Shelton Benjamin faced off with Antonio Cesaro for a shot at the IC Championship at Extreme Rules. Cesaro took little time to get after Benjamin running at him as he entered the ring hitting a bit boot on him then taking him to the ground and stretching him out. On their feet Benjamin shoved Cesaro over the top rope then brought him back in the ring with a suplex. Cesaro was able to fight back and toss Shelton around and then work him over on the mat. Cesaro took Shelton down again but they got back to their feet and Shelton hit a big belly to belly toss on Cesaro but Cesaro got back to his feet and was very aggressive. He threw Shelton to the ground and hit several elbow drops on his back then got him to his feet and hit a bit uppercut taking Shelton down again. On the ground he did a double stomp on Shelton. Shelton got back up and fought back a little bit whipping Cesaro into the ropes but Cesaro caught him with a surprise roll up. Back on their feet Cesaro dropped Shelton across the top rope and then hit The Neutralizer on him to pick up the win and a shot at the title.

The next match featured Women’s Champion AJ Lee teaming with Natalya against Tamina and Layla. Tamina and Natalya faced off first and Tamina was extremely aggressive. Natalya was able to get the tag into AJ but Tamina continued her aggressiveness taking her down then hitting a big dropkick. Tamina never tagged Layla in and dominated the match pinning AJ after hitting a big superkick on her. After the match she grabbed the Women’s Championship and stood over AJ with it raised high.

The next match was The Wyatts versus The SHIELD. Conspicuous by his absence for this match was Bray Wyatt. Reigns took it to Rowan early with a sidebreaker over the knee. Rowan fought back and got the tag into Harper who used some big moves to take down Reigns. Reigns was able to tag in Rollins but Harper took him down and whipped him into his corner. Rollins fought back with an elbow to Rowan and kicked a charging Harper away before hitting a dropkick off the ropes and continue his assault on Harper. Haroer was able to whip Rollins into his corner and Rowan took control after getting tagged in. He ran and knocked Reigns off the ring apron. Reigns got up and in the ring and was pushed back by the ref. Rollins was finally able to get the tag into Reigns and Reigns took control over Rowan and tossed him over the ropes. Rollins entered the ring to distract Reigns. As this happened Rowan pulled Rollins off the ring apron and whipped him into the guardrail. Back in the ring Rowan took it to Reigns and hit him with a big waist lifting side slam to pick up the win.

In the main event, Brock Lesnar faced off with John Cena. As John Cena entered the ring he was attacked by Bray Wyatt an assaulted him for awhile before tossing him into the ring. In the ring Brock beat down Cena with several punches and kicks and beat him down on the ground. Cena was able to fight back momentarily but Brock caught him with a huge bodyslam, followed by kicks and punches on the ground. Brock took Cena down with a big STO, then sat on him and beat him down more. Brock was in complete control tossing Cena around the ring with ease, but Cena fought back and got a two count after hitting a spear and a sitout bomb. Cena hit the 5 knuckle shuffle for another 2 count and then the Attitude Adjustment for the win. After the match, Bray Wyatt came out and attacked Cena again.

Triple H came out and announced that Bray Wyatt would face John Cena in a cage match at Extreme Rules.
