A New Era of Professional Wrestling-A Bryan3169 Universe Mode

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has announced his sale of WWE and all of its assets of the company in which includes the WWE Network and programming that includes Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown.

McMahon has sold his company which has been his family for generations to young millionaire mogul Bryan Smith for an undisclosed amount.

McMahon sighted financial troubles for himself and his family as the reason to sell the company after WrestleMania 30.

Bryan Smith had this to say about acquiring the multi million dollar publicly traded company, "I have been a wrestling fan since I was a child, and once I heard the rumor that Vince was having trouble sustaining the company I was elated and I had to put an offer on the table. And now I am the principal owner of the WWE!"

When jokingly asked was he going to become an on screen character on television much like McMahon had done for many years while being the owner all Smith had to say was, "I have no plans currently of becoming an on screen character on WWE Programming for the time being. Never say never though because anything is possible."

Finishing his statement he said, "To the fans, I am just as much of a fan as you are! Changes will be made but it will always be in the best interest of the fans! Then, Now, Forever!"

Re: A New Era of Professional Wrestling-A Bryan3169 Universe Mode

Welcome to A New Era in Professional Wrestling

I did bring back the Brand Extension and separated the championships again. I am a little bit ahead on the schedule my first official post will be the Smackdown's Payback PPV. I will catch you guys up on what's been happening previous in my Universe.

    Storylines

-New Raw GM Paul Heyman announces #1 contenders match between Brock Lesnar & Seth Rollins in which Rollins wins on a surprise roll up victory, Brock is visibly frustrated and after 2 straight non title losses to WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, Brock takes his ball and goes home, in a statement from Heyman, Lesnar needed to go home and refocus? Will we see the Beast Incarnate return to the ring anytime soon?
-Bray Wyatt is the inaugural Universe WWE Champion after winning a Gold Rush tournament defeating Daniel Bryan
-Bad News Barrett has turned into the Bad News Bully originally drafted to RAW in the Brand Extension, but has attacked multiple Smackdown superstars on Main Event and on episodes of Smackdown. Attacking both Tyson Kidd & Bo Dallas after a match on Main Event and then proceeding to attack Smackdown superstar Rob Van Dam after their match on that same episode of Main Event and injuring Van Dam for a few weeks. RVD's tag partner, Rey Mysterio steps up to the plate to face off against Barrett in which he surprises Barrett with a roll up victory, Barrett attacked Mysterio after the match, GM Paul Heyman forces his own hand and trades Barrett to Smackdown for Mark Henry. The Bearer of Bad News looks to rise the ranks of Smackdown now after a nasty feud with Rob Van Dam which ended with Van Dam falling off of a ladder through a table and ended up with Barrett victorious.
-At Raw presents Extreme Rules we saw CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan in an epic #1 Contenders Submission Match which led to Punk being named the winner. After the match, Seth Rollins mocks Daniel Bryan saying he won't be seeing the WWE Championship anytime soon after he wins tonight.
-John Cena is out of action after suffering a severe concussion after a steel cage match with Ryback. (How ironic is that!) Who knows when Cena will return?
-Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship all I can say is wow! With an infuriated Harper & Rowan at ringside after being upset by Miz & Sandow for the World Tag Team Championships, Rollins held his own. After being outnumbered 3-1, most people thought Rollins didn't stand a chance! Rollins eliminated Harper & Rowan with a suicide dive over the top and crashed down onto both men and when both men got caught trying to interfere by sliding a chair into Bray, they both were ejected leaving Rollins to Bray all by himself. Even after a curb stomp on a chair, and a heart stopping kick out at 2, Bray got momentum on his side and an unexpected Sister Abigail put Rollins down for the 3.

    Now after Extreme Rules

-Rusev's wrath and path of destruction includes the names of Big Show, Jack Swagger whom he injures, Mark Henry, Xavier Woods, Curtis Axel and even the King of Swing, Cesaro. The Swiss Superman challenged Rusev after Rusev went on a rampage with a chair on the back and head of Jack Swagger and came close to beating Rusev but couldn't survive the Accolade submission hold. Who will surprise Rusev and lead him to his first loss in Universe Mode?
-The Man That Gravity Forgot Adrian Neville debuts on Monday Night Raw and what a spectacular performance he put on as he defeated Curtis Axel with an impressive reverse 450 Splash. Neville then 1up'd himself by defeating former WWE Champion and current World Tag Team Champion The Miz. Neville then goes on to defeat Xavier Woods who declines Neville's handshake after the match in a display of frustration.
-Big Show chasing the Intercontinental Championship? After taking a brutal loss to Rusev, Big Show goes out and destroys New Day members, Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston in consecutive weeks and stood at the top of the ramp after Big E captures the Intercontinental Championship from Cesaro. Big Show demolishes Big E in a non title contest. Big E cost Big Show a victory against New Day member Kofi Kingston with a nice distraction which left Big Show fuming. Big Show wants gold bad and he has got his eyes set on
-Seth Rollins & Daniel Bryan's feud hits a boiling point. After their brief confrontation at Extreme Rules, Rollins gets a pinfall victory over Bryan pn Raw and after the match had to be separated. Then the following week in a blockbuster main event set up by Paul Heyman Triple Threat Match between Rollins, Bryan and Punk we saw Rollins get the victory over Bryan again while Punk was disposed of after a brutal attack by Harper & Rowan. Bryan thought he kicked out before the ref hit the mat for 3. A frustrated Daniel Bryan then attacks Seth Rollins from behind and they brawl out onto the floor. Oh it doesn't stop there, to keep Bryan off of his back, Rollins employs the services of the monster Kane to take out his former partner and with Rollins at ringside he watches Kane chokeslam Bryan through the announce table. When will this bloodbath end between Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins?
-CM Punk takes on the challenge of mastering the WWE Champion Bray Wyatt and his mysterious mind games and his followers Harper & Rowan. Punk became the #1 contender after defeating Daniel Bryan in a submission match, he then is attacked at every willing moment by Wyatt's goons in Harper & Rowan. Punk has spent the last month constantly watching over his shoulder and have been the victim of many of Bray Wyatt's mindgames and many more gang-style beatdowns from Harper & Rowan. As Wyatt commands his buzzards from the shadows, Punk gets a shot at Rowan who he easily defeats and then is attacked by Luke Harper. Punk then challenges Luke Harper whom with the help of a surprise appearance by the WWE Champion, Bray Wyatt (who has been seen rarely since his match with Rollins at Extreme Rules) helps Harper get the upset victory over Punk. To keep his championship match intact and to give his former client a little edge in this ride to hell and back he's been taking at the hands of Wyatt Family, Heyman rewards Punk with a rematch...inside a steel cage! Punk tortures Harper inside the steel structure and escapes with some kind of revenge on the Wyatt Family and then suddenly the lights go out and when the lights come back on, Bray Wyatt has an unconscious CM Punk in his arms and delivers a devastating Sister Abigail into the edge of the cage. Can the Best In The World overcome The Eater of Worlds when they meet inside the ring when the title is on the line or will the Eater of Worlds continue his age of darkness he has brought over the Raw Brand?

So far Brock Lesnar is gone, Cena is out, Jack Swagger is out, how is Raw staying afloat without those guys? Rusev is on a path of destruction, Big Show beating up guys smaller than him again in a chase for championship gold. Seth Rollins is the man on Monday Night Raw but Daniel Bryan is trying to put a stop to that! And CM Punk being brutalized by the WWE Champion and his pack of wolves that are Harper & Rowan! And most importantly, why is new Raw GM Paul Heyman so quiet? What sort of slimey tricks does Heyman up his sleeve! But we know Heyman with a mouth as loud and obnoxious as his, he won't be able to keep it a secret for long!

All this action and I haven't even told you about what's going on over there on Smackdown!

          Storylines

-Establishing new stars. Guys such as Tyson Kidd, Bo Dallas, Fandango, Cody Rhodes & Titus O'Neil have jumped out to hot starts on the blue brand. Tyson Kidd has shown his skills early on with submission victories over Dallas, 2 over Fandango, and Alberto Del Rio. Bo Dallas has seen himself challenge United States Champion Dean Ambrose, although unsuccessful he has had some battles with the Lunatic Fringe. Fandango has surprised alot of top stars on Smackdown holding victories on Dallas, Tyson Kidd, and Cody Rhodes and almost defeated The Show-Off Dolph Ziggler. And Cody has emerged as the surprising #1 contender for the United States Championship at Payback. Titus O'Neil has found tag team success forming an alliance with R-Truth and getting victories over former tag partner Darren Young. Out of these emerging stars who will have a better year in Year 1 of Universe Mode?
-Some dysfunction in the team of RVD & Mysterio? Since Mysterio & Van Dam somewhat fended off Bad News Barrett for the time being and became #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships, their team has been often lost and confused when facing off against the highflying Samoans, The Usos. Van Dam & Mysterio have single competition victories over the Usos but in Tag action the story is completely different. Mysterio & Van Dam voiced their frustrations with each other after an upset loss to Truth & Titus and subjected themselves to a post match shoving match. Can these two get it together and win the WWE Tag Team Championships or is this teamed doomed to fail?
-A Beaten Hound? Has Roman Reigns lost "it" After numerous losses to Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler and a loss to World Champion, Sheamus has Roman Reigns lost his "it" factor now that he is on a terrible downhill spiral? Can the Hound of Justice rebound?
-Dolph Ziggler, The Show Off or Loud Mouth? Dolph Ziggler has been the Show Off at his finest and has been the hottest superstar on Smackdown and has been vocal constantly that he doesn't get the credit he deserves. He has beaten everyone Triple H has thrown at him so far. Ziggler has even gone as far as standing on the announce table during other matches with a sign that reads "The Contender No One Knows About", Ziggler has beaten Jericho and was one small mistake away from beating Sheamus on a Smackdown before he ran into a Brogue Kick. Ziggler, ever since believes Sheamus' win was a fluke and deserves another chance at the Celtic Warrior.
-Sheamus/Jericho Friends or Foes? Even though Sheamus is the World Heavyweight Champion and he knows that Chris Jericho is gunning for his championship both men have a mutual respect for each other have been caught together in this web of carnage Triple H has spun. Even at their contract signing both men shook hands and later on that night when Jericho hosted his Highlight Reel with special guest Triple H which broke out into a fight that saw Triple H smashing Jericho over the head with a stool, and Sheamus came running to his rescue. Is a friendship brewing between Sheamus & Jericho or is this just a mutual dislike for the boss Triple H, that once the dust settles and that title is on the line it'll be a whole new ballgame?
-WWE Chief Operating Officer, Triple H has been appointed overseer of the Smackdown brand by new owner Bryan Smith and starts to abuse his power as soon as he gets, as he drops himself into a #1 Contender Match for the World Heavyweight Championship against Y2J Chris Jericho. With Hunter's hunger for the Championship and being at the top of the Smackdown Brand he attempts to stack the deck against Jericho and has Randy Orton accompany him to ringside. In the best battle I've seen in this universe so far, Jericho and Triple H go at it like the hatred never left. This match included a backdrop on the apron from Triple H on Jericho. We saw a DDT from Orton on Jericho while the referee's back was turned attending to Triple H who complained about knee pain after Jericho hit him with a nasty chop block that almost up ended The Game. This match saw an appearance from Triple H's best friend, the sledgehammer. And this is where everything went wrong. In a desperation move to win, Hunter screams from the ring at Orton, get me the sledgehammer! Now we all know Orton doesn't take to orders very well so he just tosses the sledgehammer in the ring and it ends up in Jericho's hands and Jericho crowns Triple H over the head with it and the semi-conscious referee counts the 3 count. A bloody Triple H can't believe it and he is pissed at Orton. The following week Triple H puts Orton in a match against Jericho saying he wants Jericho out of the way. Orton leaves the ring when the match starts to get purposely counted out! So Triple H goes after Jericho again and looks to take Y2J out and Hunter thinks he has Orton's help and Orton grabs a chair and swings and smashes Triple H right over the head with it! Orton is seething as the crowd goes nuts as Jericho hits lionsault for the 3 count on The Game again! Orton later is stopped in a match against Roman Reigns and is met with a nasty flying knee and a Pedigree ending this alliance! The Cerebral Assassin goes out and beats the hell out of Orton and a week later (while Orton isn't in attendance nontheless) announces an Ironman match between himself & Orton to settle this! After the fight breakout on Jericho's Highlight Reel where Sheamus, Orton, & Jericho eventual beat down on Triple H, Hunter schedules a 6-Man Tag for the go home show for Payback where Randy Orton, Sheamus & Jericho face of against Triple H and two partners of his choice. Triple H was spotted on RAW earlier in the week and on Smackdown he brought back The Big Red Monster Kane and his old Evolution buddy, The Animal Batista! In a match that saw nonstop action from start to finish saw Kane being the weak link and taking the pinfall after a beautiful RKO out of nowhere to finish it all. Batista & Hunter demolish Kane and leave him laying? Orton & Triple H face off in an Ironman Match at Payback this one should be an instant classic!

And there you have it! RAW and Smackdown brand recaps up until the Payback PPV! And Payback will be opening up with a huge return announcement!

Also, you've uncredited the other half of the World Tag Team Champions with The Miz

                    Smackdown Presents

Welcome to Payback! We have a stacked night on our hands as tonight marks the night of Smackdown's first brand exclusive Pay-Per-View!

As told to you via WWE.com, there will be a huge announcement about a return to the WWE tonight! We start off the night with The COO, Triple H who will be in action later on tonight with The Viper Randy Orton in an IronMan Match!

Hunter stood at the top of the ramp, still dressed in a suit and said, "In two weeks time..." Before Triple H could finish his sentence he was interrupted by the every familiar sound to hardcore wrestling fans.

The Godfather of Extreme and Raw General Manager, Paul Heyman. "Excuse me, Hunter I know you weren't gonna have the announcement without good ole Paul E here with you?" Triple H turned to Heyman with a fire in his eyes, "Paul what they hell are you doing here, this is my pay-per-view! Get out! NOW, before I make you leave!"

"Such hostility, Hunter but no one said a word when you were backstage scrounging for help like helpless puppy with no food over on my show last week, but you have audacity to want to put me out! I'm just here to make sure you don't take all the credit for this announcement tonight. Now shall we, Hunter?"

"In two weeks time, Raw & Smackdown will be hosting there first joint PPV event, and you will see the return of the Armageddon Pay Per View!"

"Oh and that's not all. During that event, the fans will see the return of the King of The Ring tournment!"

The crowd erupted in excitement! Heyman continued, "The winner of the 8 man tournament will be guaranteed a championship match at the biggest extravaganza of the summer, Summerslam! And let me be the first to announce the first two superstars entered into the King of The Ring Tournament from the Raw from the Raw brand!"

"One of the most exciting competitors the WWE has seen in recent memory, I know he is new to majority of your eyes but he will not disappoint, The Man That Gravity Forgot, Adrian Neville! And last but certainly not least, the Bulgarian Brute, the undefeated, unstoppable, Rusev! Top that Hunter!"

Heyman drops the microphone and walks out of the building.

Triple H continues as he looks after Heyman and says, "Tonight on the Payback Pay Per View you will see 2 qualifying matches for the King of the Ring tournament. Two upstart competitors that are slowly becoming superstars on the Smackdown brand, Bo Dallas vs. Tyson Kidd. The second match will be a battle for Smackdown's #1 seed as we see The Hound of Justice, Roman Reigns face off against The Showoff Dolph Ziggler!"

Wow ladies and gentlemen, the return of the Armageddon Pay Per View in two weeks and more importantly the return of The King of the Ring! Let's start our opening contest!"

Instead of becoming enemies in the process of the usual champion/challeger feud, they have become somewhat allies? In the last month the championship has taken a back seat as Sheamus & Jericho were thrust into the battle along with Randy Orton to combat the COO Triple H. But now tonight at Payback, the championship is at the top of the totem pole. Who leaves Payback with the World Heavyweight Championship?

Welcome to Monday Night Raw, ladies & gentlemen! 13 days away from Armageddon! We open up tonight with the leader of the Yes! Movement, Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan enters the ring with his ribs taped, as a "reward" from the beating he suffered from Seth Rollins and Kane.

"Hey Seth, come on out, I got a bone to pick with you! Or are you more comfortable with 2 on 1 beat downs? I'll be waiting..."

                            There was nothing

"Welllll, I guess I have to come back there and find you then don't I?" As Daniel Bryan started to leave the ring...out comes Paul Heyman.

The usual ECW chants erupt throughout the arena mixed with a chorus of boos and jeers as Heyman stops Daniel Bryan in his tracks and says, "Not that I'm an advocate for Seth Rollins or anything..." Heyman let's that soak in for a few with the crowd as they continue to boo. "...but Seth had a little flight trouble and is running a little late. So I wouldn't want you running around my locker room on a mad man's wild goose chase and he isn't even here yet! But that's bad news for you Daniel, now to the good news. You'll get your chance to face Seth one on one at Armageddon, and Seth has brought a deal to the table that you'll like to hear. If you win tonight against your mystery opponent, Seth said you can choose the stipulation for your match, if you lose then Seth gets to choose. Deal?"

"I only got one word for that....YES!" as the crowd joined Bryan in the YES chants.

With a smirk Heyman said, "Ok well, good luck!"

                            1. KOTR Qualifying Match Damien Sandow vs. The Miz

Sandow took control early getting a 2 1/2 count on a sitout spinebuster and the Elbow of Disdain. Miz started to battle back with a nasty boot to the face that bloodied Sandow's nose. Miz was looking to put away Sandow with the Skull Crushing Finale, but wait a second, Sandow blocks it and reverses it and Terminus Neckbreaker. 1...2...3! Damien Sandow pulls a big upset over his tag team partner The Miz!

Post Match Sandow is celebrating screaming, Long Live The King of the Ring! Miz sitting with his hands over his head looks infuriated with Sandow and kicks him in the seat of his pants and sends Sandow through the middle rope crashing to the floor. Miz jumps up and laughs and points at Sandow and says, "That's one clumsy king!" The crowd surprisingly started laughing along with the Miz. Nontheless, Sandow is headed to the King of The Ring tournament.

                            2. Singles Match Xavier Woods vs. Big Show

Big Show is picking on the Intercontinental Champion's stablemates in Kofi Kingston, who Big Show demolished last week and now its Xavier Wood this week to get Big E's attention that he is coming after the Intercontinental Championship.

Woods gets little if any offense in and this one was quick and very painful...for Xavier Woods. Big Show folds him in half with a giant spear 1...2...3! If Big Show can do this to Big E, Big Show will become the next Intercontinental Champion.

                            3. KOTR Qualifying Match Kane vs. Batista
Kane is at odds end with Batista especially after Triple H's and Batista's post match attack on Kane after their 6-Man Tag Match on Smackdown last week.

Kane come out the gate with great intensity with vicious uppercuts and beats down on Batista in the corner before the ref can separate the two. That brief break of separation give Batista a window and he takes advantage as he lays Kane out with forward trip clothesline. Batista keeps the momentum and lays out Kane with a spinebuster and locks in the Batista's Bite submission hold, but Kane refuses to tap as he powers out of the hold. Batista knees Kane in the gut and tries for a Batista Bomb, but Kane hammers Batista in the face and Batista drops him and Kane hoists up Batista for a chokeslam. Kane isn't done yet, he scoops Batista up and Tombstone. 1...2...3!

Post Match Kane isn't satisfied with the pain he has laid upon Batista as he rolls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair and slides it into the ring. Kane hoists Batista up and chokeslams him right on the chair. Kane lifts his arms up and the arena lights up as Kane's pyro goes off as Kane stands over Batista writhing in pain. Kane qualifies for the King of the Ring Tournament!

In the parking lot A tour bus pulls up into the arena parking lot and out comes the #1 contender, CM Punk and he means business as he has his hands taped and a baseball bat in his hands. Punk runs right into Renee Young.

"Punk, what are your thoughts on Bray Wyatt saying he's got an message for for you tonight?" Punk said, "Well Renee, I got a message for Bray Wyatt too, and it's going to be related to him, through this baseball bat here in my hands!" Punk takes off with a sadistic look in his eyes as Big E's music hits.

                            4. Champion vs. Champion Match Big E vs. Bray Wyatt

Bray looks on top of his game as he strikes early and often against the Intercontinental Champion.and drops Big E with a running body block. Bray falls to his knees and screams at Big E as he continues to hammer him over the head, "The Buzzards are lost Punk! The Buzzards are lost! Help me lead them to salvation Punk!" Bray then hits a running senton on Big E and does his eerie spider crawl and kisses Big E on the forehead and nails Big E with a Sister Abigail. 1...2...3

Post Match Bray grabs a microphone and falls to his knees again facing the ramp! "Punk! Come to me my son! You have fallen from her graces, I can't save you, only you can save yourself! Drop to your knees and beg for mercy and she'll let you walk the mile with her, Punk! The buzzards are lost Punk, only you can lead them back to salvation...HAHAHA herd them like sheep and they will follow you, to the ends of the Earth! RUN! Before it's too late! HAHAHA!"

CM Punk's music hits and he runs to the ring, baseball bat in hand...before Punk could reach the bottom of the ramp, the arena goes dark....***N!!! A lone spotlight is in the ring and Punk is in the middle of it with no signs of Bray Wyatt. The lights flicker as Punk continues to stand ready...

Then suddenly four more spot lights showed up in the four corners of the ring and followed by four hooded figures in sheep's mask. The arena goes black again...

When the lights finally come back on, Punk is knocked out in the middle of the ring with a sheep mask on his face with Bray in front of him praising the heavens and screaming, "LET HIM WALK WITH YOU, MY SWEET SISTER, LET HIM WALK WITH YOU TO GATES OF HELL, THERE HE WILL MEET THE EATER OF WORLDS AND HIS ARMAGEDDON!"

                            5. Main Event Daniel Bryan vs. ???

Daniel Bryan is the first out to the ring, ribs still tapped from the attack he suffered last Monday at the hands of Kane and Seth Rollins. Bryan awaits his opponent in the ring...instead he gets Paul Heyman!

"Hey Daniel, Paul Heyman here again. I'm just here to let you know that, Rollins is almost here. But don't worry I have someone who will keep you company while you're waiting...THIS MAN...

                            The BULGARIAN BRUTE, RUSEV!"

Rusev reaches the ring and this main event is underway. Daniel Bryan is trying to stay away the grasp of Rusev and he goes right for the legs, kicking Rusev right in the calf and it barely fazes him. Rusev with a Running body avalanche sends sends Bryan flying. Bryan quickly recovers with a running elbow smash that's got Rusev reeling. Bryan starts to go with the kicks to the legs and body of Rusev until Rusev grabs him for a ring shaking side slam! Rusev slams a foot right into gut of Bryan and turns him over and another stomp to the lower back. Rusev looks to lock in the Accolade, but Bryan scrambles out of it before Rusev gets a good hold on him. OH MY! Bryan's got the arm, he's sinking in the Yes Lock...HE's GOT IT! Lana gets to the apron and has the referee distracted...

Seth Rollins jumps the barricade and with the referee distracted hits Curb Stomp on Daniel Bryan and slides back through the bottom rope and under the ring. Rusev dead lifts Bryan with one arm and slams him hard into the mat and his head bounced like a basketball. With Bryan out cold, Rusev locks in the Accolade and the referee turns around and with no response from Bryan, the referee calls for the bell as Daniel Bryan is knocked out cold. Rusev wins thanks to Seth Rollins.

Post Match Seth creeps from under the ring, with a microphone and says, "Wake up Daniel, I didn't mean to keep you waiting for so long, Did ya miss me buddy? Well since you didn't exactly win against you're opponent Rusev, I guess I get to choose the stipulation! Rollins rolls out the ring and grabs a table from under the ring and set the table up in the corner and hits a buckle bomb on Bryan through the table. "Hopefully your pain speaks for itself Daniel! See you at Armageddon in a Tables Match!"

Raw fades to black with Daniel Bryan laying in rubble and Seth Rollins looking down on the broken man.

Thanks SmooveMove, Jericho has always been one of my favorites, but his surprise turn around in that match and his sudden victory surprised me. Triple H & Orton has been one of the best feuds to put together...this one is gonna be good...

Thanks for following especially for the guy who inspired me to get started...
