I Can Do It Better: MLamm's WWE Universe

I Can Do It Better: MLamm’s WWE Universe

Hello all, and welcome to my Universe. I hope you come to laugh, cry, and enjoy how I would book the WWE Universe.

Background info: Wrestling fans all over the world have complained about how the WWE has booked their superstars. It can be a bad heel turn, how they push faces on us despite the fans not actually liking them (I’m looking at YOU, Roman Reigns!) etc. Well I’m here to tell you that I can schedule the WWE Universe better, and in a more interesting way. So sit back, relax, and enjoy some World Wrestling Entertainment.
We will kick things off starting with the Raw episode after Wrestlemania 32. This means that everything that happened during that pay-per-view will reflect our WWE Universe. This includes title changes, storylines, injuries, rosters, etc. Everything from here on out will be different, based on what occurs in our own Universe.

    House Rules:
    1. Rosters will reflect the day after WWE WM32. This means that John Cena has returned to the roster, but Cesaro has not (yet). People will not be deemed active unless serving a proper time on the bench, whether it be injury, suspension, etc. Superstars will also not be edited from “injury” status to “healthy”. Injuries happen all the time. The WWE has to deal with it, and so we will as well.

    2. Storylines will reflect IN-GAME match results. If there is an upset, title change, etc. the storyline will be rewritten to reflect such changes.

    3. ALL MATCHES WILL BE CPU VS CPU, NO SIM. This one’s important. This means that I will not influence an outcome of a match in ANYWAY. Also, no matches will have a predetermined winner. This means that whatever happens in the match, will be reflected in the Universe, regardless of outcome.

Re: I Can Do It Better: MLamm's WWE Universe

            April Week 1

            Entrance plays, fireworks go off
Michael Cole: Welcome to the longest running show on television, WWE Raw! We're coming off a night that will go down in history books, Wrestlemania! A lot to come tonight, as we see how Roman Reigns will begin his reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion!

Vince McMahon's music plays, Vince struts down to the ring, holding a microphone.
Vince McMahon: Welcome to WWE Raw! I'd like to thank everyone who helped set the largest attendance record in WWE History last night at Wrestlemania 32! Now, onto business... I have something I'd like to address.

You all know by now that The Undertaker took my son, Shane McMahon, into the Hell in a Cell and beat him to a pulp. What a spectacle! But, I have to tell you, watching my son go to great lengths last night go to me. Shane proved how bad he wanted a say in what goes on in the WWE Universe. I can't lie, I'm impressed Shane. Now, that being said, I can't just give up my million dollar company! That'd be preposterous! The WWE would be NOTHING without me! I'm Vince McMahon, damn it!

I do know what's best for business though, and that being said, we have mixed a few things up in the company. First, Hunter and my daughter, Stephanie, will be turning all of their focus to NXT. NXT Takeover: Dallas, was amazing, and we have up and coming talent that needs to be molded so that they can one day compete on the main roster.

That being said, that leaves a void that needs to be filled for WWE. Shane, you once again put your life on the line for the sake of the company last night. If you accept, I'd like you to be my right-hand man in running this company. What do you say?

Shane McMahon's music hits, Shane gets a huge pop as he walks out to the top of the ramp.

Shane: I'm glad you finally came around pops. I can take this company to the next step. I can bring the WWE back to it's form like it was during the Attitude Era. I accept.

The crowd goes wild as Shane walks to the ring and shakes Vince's hand. The show cuts to a commercial break.

            Return from commercial.

Michael Cole: Folks incase you just missed it let me fill you in on what went down; Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have stepped down and will be working with NXT. Next, Vince has assigned Shane to overlook the operations of the WWE Main Roster!

JBL: Mr. McMahon is a smart man, he knows what is best for business. Vince and his son will do great things for this company.

The Social Outcasts music hits, Curtis Axel makes his way down to the ring by himself. Goldust's music hits after, and he too makes his way to the ring. The bell rings, and the first match of the night begins.

Match 1: Curtis Axel vs Goldust

The match goes back and fourth for a bit, both superstars exchanging blows. Curtis Axel counters Goldust and hit's him with a suplex. He goes to the top rope, and Goldust rolls out of the way to avoid a flying elbow. Goldust sets up Axel for The Final Cut, and gets the pin.

            Length: 5:14
            Winner: Goldust via pinfall

John Cena's music plays, the crowd cheers as he makes his way down to the ring. He grabs a mic and pauses, as he looks around at the crowd.

John Cena: What a welcome back! Now I know this has a lot to do with me helping The Rock last night, but I have to say, thank you. I work as hard as I do, and I rehab as hard as I rehab, to come back and perform for you, the WWE Universe. [crowd cheers] I came back here tonight, with the intention to finally put an end to this monster Bray Wyatt once and f-

Arena goes dark. Music plays; "He's got the whole world, in his hands.. he's got the whole world in his hands" you can hear Bray Wyatt laugh, and the music cuts short and the lights turn back on. The Wyatt family is already beating down on Cena! They beat him down, and Wyatt hits him with Sister Abigail, picking up the mic that Cena had dropped.

Bray Wyatt: You couldn't just mind your own business John, could you? No, you have to refuse the services of the Wyatt Family. Let us guide you, John, or feel the wrath of Bray Wyatt just as the rest of the WWE Universe will!

The Wyatt Family's music plays as the show goes to a commercial

The show returns to a replay of John Cena being stretchered off from the ring, while the announcers catch the viewers from home up to speed

"ITS A NEW DAY, YES IT IS!" The New Day makes their way to the ring and cut a promo about the League of Nations getting beat down by the likes of Stone Cold, Mick Foley, and Shawn Michaels. They get cut short by the League of Nations, and the second match of the night is set to begin.

Match 2: The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, managed by Xavier Woods) vs The League of Nations (Sheamus, King Barrett (managed by Rusev) (Tag Team Title Match)

Big E starts in the ring vs Sheamus. Sheamus takes advantage early and catches Big E with a running neckbreaker. He tries to make a quick pin but Big E kicks out. Sheamus then tags in King Barrett, who also beats up on Big E. Big E tries to fight back, but Barrett hits Big E with a neckbreaker as well. He too tries for a pin, but Big E is resilient.

Barrett tags in Sheamus and they double team Big E. Sheamus goes for another pin but Kofi Kingston is able to break it up. Barrett sends him over the top rope and starts to battle him outside the ring.

Back in the ring, Sheamus is in the fast lane until Big E manages to counter, and flips Sheamus onto his back. Big E picks him up and hits a huge powerbomb before tagging in Kofi Kingston for the first time in the match! It gives Sheamus enough time to get back on his feet, and Kofi runs into a huge clothesline. Sheamus tags in Barrett who gets dropkicked by Kofi. He tags in Big E who throws Barrett over the top rope.

Both teams struggle to maintain any momentum for the rest of the match, until Kofi Kingston throws Sheamus over the top rope, and dives after him! Big E beats Barrett to their feet first and hits the Big Ending on Barrett to retain the Tag Team belts.

            Time: 13:43
            Winners: The New Day

Match 3: Sami Zayn vs The Miz

Sami Zayn looked like he was out of it until he caught Miz with a backbreaker. He quickly took over the match. He went on to land a big DDT to put The Miz away. The announcers said he didn't even break a sweat!

            Time: 6:13
            Winner: Sami Zayn via pinfall.

Match 4: Zack Ryder vs Kevin Owens (Non-title)

The new Intercontinental Champion gets a huge pop as he makes his entrance, and Kevin Owens seems unimpressed. Owens attacks him before the match even starts, and the ref rings the bell to get it started.

Owens quickly backs Ryder into a corner and the ref has to break them up. Owens throws a cheap shot, and the crowd boos. Ryder comes out and starts working Kevin Owens in the middle of the ring, and hits him with a suplex. He shows off technical skills, with a headlock into a DDT. He goes for a quick pin, but Owens kicks out. Ryder picks him up and hits another suplex. Owens looks weak. He manages to get up and counter Ryder, then hit him with a big bodyslam to get some momentum. He goes for a move off the top rope, and misses. Ryder tries to take advantage, but Owens counters once again.

Owens attempts to pin Ryder a few more times but Ryder kicks out, infuriating Owens. Kevin Owens hits suplex after suplex, and almost makes Ryder tap out with a camel clutch!

Kevin Owens goes for a suplex again, and holds onto Ryder this time for the pin.

            Time: 8:10
            Winner: Kevin Owens via pinfall

"WOOO!!!!" Rick Flair's music hits as he struts down to the ring. He goes in the ring and cuts a promo about how Charlotte is the greatest Women's Wrestler the world has ever seen. He invites her out to the ring so fans can see what a real champion looks like. She comes down to a series of boos from the crowd. She tells the WWE Universe that they're just jealous, that they'd do anything to be champion like she is. Just then, Sasha Banks' music hits. She says she has unfinished business with Charlotte, and challenges her to a title match at WWE Payback. Charlotte accepts.

Match 5: AJ Styles vs Baron Corbin

Newcomer vs Newcomer. Michael Cole reminds everyone that Baron Corbin was the winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal last night at Wrestlemania. AJ Styles also has something to prove after being defeated by Chris Jericho last night. He says Jericho will be taking some time off with a neck injury.

After exchanging a few blows, Baron Corbin slides out of the ring to regain some composure. Styles slides out after him and they play chicken, Corbin heading back into the ring. He cheap shots Styles as he reenters the ring, and has momentum. Not for long, as Styles comes back with punches, and hits Corbin off the ropes with a flying clothesline. He jumps ontop of Corbin, delivering a series of blows, until Corbin throws Styles off of him.

Styles isn't done yet, as he ducks a boot from Corbin, and hits him with The Pele Kick. Styles gets the pin.

            Time: 8:35
            Winner: AJ Styles via pinfall

Match 6: Roman Reigns vs Rusev (Non-title)
Reigns gets mixed reactions as he enters over the barricade, holding his new belt. Rusev is shattered in boo's making his way to the ring, managed by Alberto Del Rio, the fourth member of the League of Nations.

Rusev tries to make quick work of the new champion, but Reigns battles back with his power moves. Rusev picks him up and slams him in the middle of the ring, and goes for the camel clutch. Reigns manages to get a ropebreak, and delivers a punch to Rusev's gut. This gives him a second to recoop, and he tries to pick up Rusev. Rusev counters, and hits him with a belly to belly suplex. Both guys get to their feet, and Reigns gets a few good shots on him.

Reigns gets Rusev to the ground with a kick to the gut followed by a DDT. He sets up for the Superman Punch and connects. He goes for the pin, but Alberto Del Rio distracts the ref! Reigns slides out of the ring and Superman punches Alberto Del Rio! He gets back in the ring and Rusev is waiting for him, hitting a fallaway slam. Reigns has a hand on the rope, but the ref doesn't see it! Rusev steals a victory with the heal from his buddy Alberto Del Rio.

            Time: 11:21
            Winner: Rusev via pinfall

After the match, as Reigns is arguing with the referee, Shane McMahon's music hits for the second time that night. He stands out on the ramp.

Shane: Roman, Roman, Roman... I thought you had defeated The Authority last night, now you are losing to Rusev, a member of the League of Nations? Triple H's hired hitmen? You are a champion now, Roman. You need to start dominating, or that belt will be off your waist so quick your head will spin. You are a machine, Roman. You're the face of WWE! You need to figure it out.

The show ends with Roman Reigns staring at Shane McMahon, with a facial expression that what Shane said has effected him mentally.

              April Week 1

Fireworks go off, intro procedes. The Usos music hits.

Match 1: The Usos vs Luke Harper & Erick Rowan

The Usos start with all the momentum in the world as they go back and fourth on Erick Rowan. Rowan manages to tag in Luke Harper who proceeds to toss Jimmy Uso around like a ragdoll. He sends Jimmy off the ropes who leaves his feet to knock Harper off his, and tags in his brother. At the same time, Luke tags in Erick. Jay Uso attempts to hit Erick Rowan with a flying headbutt, but Rowan rolls out of the way. He drags Uso into the corner, and him and Luke beat Uso up against the turnbuckle. Jay sneaks away, and tags in his brother, who immediately goes up top and lands a nice moonsault.

As he goes for the pin, Bray Wyatts music hits, and the arena goes dark. When the lights come back on, Bray is sitting outside the ring in his chair, laughing. Jimmy Uso, distracted, turns around and walks right into a big boot by Luke Harper, while Erick Rowan hits his brother off the apron. Luke Harper gets the pin, and the Wyatts ambush the Usos after the match.

              Time: 13:33
Winner: Luke Harper & Erick Rowan via pinfall

Match 2: Ryback vs Apollo Crews

Two juggernauts square off in a match that's raw power versus raw power. Apollo Crews is a bit quicker than Ryback, and works in some moves that get the crowd going. He hits Ryback with a big sidewalk slam early, and tries to get a quick 3 count, but Ryback kicks out. Trying to keep momentum, Crews, hits an elbow and connects on a few kicks to the gut before Ryback gets back up. Ryback counters Crews' next move and hits him with a popup powerbomb. Ryback yells "Feed! Me! More!" and starts going to work on Crews. Hitting a big suplex, and then picking him up and hitting with another.

Eventually Crews counters and sends Ryback over the top rope! He goes off the ropes himself and flys over the top! Sending Ryback to the floor. Ryback blocks a punch and lands an uppercut of his own, before both competitors reenter the ring.

Crews sees an opportunity and hits Ryback with a Gorilla Press Drop, and gets a huge upset over Ryback.

After the match, the crowd is cheering as Apollo Crews gets a huge upset over his opponent Ryback. Ryback rolls out of the ring as Crews gets the squared circle to himself, and grabs a mic.

Apollo Crews: Ladies and Gentleman, be aware of what you just witnessed. I am the next big thing in the WWE! I will stop at nothing until I have that World Heavyweight Championship Belt wrapped around my waist!

Crews drops the mic as his music plays, raising his hands in the air. He gets a huge pop from the crowd.

              Time:7:13
              Winner:Apollo Crews via pinfall

Match 3: Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks

Both women get huge pops as this is their first match since Wrestlemania.

Sasha Banks is in control of this one the entire match, which seems one-sided. It's obvious that Banks is very motivated by what is going to be her rematch for the Women's Title at Payback. She manhandles Lynch the entire time, who is struggling just to stay alive in this one. Banks finishes her early, for the pin.

              Time: 5:53
              Winner: Sasha Banks

Match 4: AJ Styles vs Jack Swagger

"A Real American" vs AJ Styles, and the two waste no time going after eachother. They exchange a few blows and Swagger catches AJ Styles with a big belly to belly suplex.

Michael Cole reminds the fans watching at home that Jack Swagger was an All-American wrestler, and Jerry the King Lawler makes a joke about that one time Cole showed up in a singlet. JBL says something about how every kid growing up should aim to be like Jack Swagger, who is in fact, a real american.

Meanwhile, Styles has managed to get to his feet and is trying to use his speed to outclass Jack Swagger. Swagger misses a few punches before Styles hits an enzuigiri! Styles then puts him in a figure-four leglock. Styles manages to sit up and deliver blows to Styles as Styles is forced to release the hold. Swagger slides out of the ring to regain himself.

Styles, with encouragement from the crowd, dives through the ropes! Swagger counters though, catching him, and hits Styles with a huge bodyslam on the floor outside the ring. Swagger rolls Styles back into the ring, and kicks him as he lays. He picks Styles up, and shows off his strength as he throws Styles into a corner. Styles manages to counter with an elbow, and picks Swagger up for a knee breaker! Swagger manages a ropebreak to save himself the match, but soon after Styles hits the Styles Clash to finish Jack Swagger off... one... two... three.

              Time: 15:47
              Winner: AJ Styles via pinfall.

The show ends with the crowd chanting AJ Styles, with Styles looking out into the crowd.

Re: I Can Do It Better: MLamm's WWE Universe

                April Week 2

The show opens with a recap of what happened last week on Raw. Michael Cole tells the fans at home that Shane McMahon told Roman Reigns that he needs to prove that he is worthy of a WWE Heavyweight Championship run, and that his win over Triple H was not a fluke. After the recap, the jumbotron shows Shane in his office, as he gets a knock on his door. In walks the WWE Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns.

Shane McMahon: Ah, Roman! Come in, take a seat, I have something I need to share with you.

Roman reminds standing, looking irritated already.

Shane (cont.):Now I know what I said may have gotten to you, but it's the truth. You're the face of the company Roman. These people come to see you, a beast, tear through the WWE Universe. Now, I'm not sure if it's because you hang around with your buddy Dean Ambrose, but it looks like you're ok with losing. [the crowd can be heard booing] People are going to be coming for you Roman, and I'm trying to help you. I'm trying to motivate you to keep your belt. That's why tonight, you and your buddy Dean Ambrose will be taking on half of the League of Nations, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio. Now, go tell Dean to start getting ready.

The scene ends with Roman nodding, and walking out, slamming the door, Shane never taking his eyes off of his Champion.

Michael Cole: Well, there you have it folks, tonight we will be seeing Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, taking on the League of Nations.

JBL: You've got to appreciate what Shane is trying to do here, Michael. Shane is trying to motivate the Champion to be exactly that, a Champion! He can't be the same dog Triple H kicked around for the last year before Roman got lucky now can he?!

The conversation ends as Kalisto's music plays. He enters the ring with the United States Championship. Then, out comes Apollo Crews. He's quickly becoming a fan favorite, and Michael Cole comments on how Crews beat Ryback last week on Smackdown, and said he was coming for the top spot in the WWE. Tonight would be a good start to his career.

Match 1: Kalisto vs Apollo Crews (United States Championship Match)

Apollo Crews came out electric, overpowering the highflyer Kalisto. Kalisto managed to rally though, reversing out of a few of Crews' attempted slams, and hitting a huge hurricarana, This gave Kalisto tons of momentum, and went for a running drop kick, which Apollo Crews narrowly avoided. As he got up, Crews landed a big neckbreaker, which looked to have really effected Kalisto both physically and mentally. Crews landed a frog splash from the top rope, and it looked like we were going to have a new champion, but Kalisto barely kicked out!

This angered Crews, who continued the onslaught of Kalisto. Kalisto almost stole one with a quick rollup of Crews, but he kicked out. As both guys got up, Crews landed his finisher, a Gorilla Press Drop, and covered Kalisto. 1... 2.... 3...

Kevin Owens: Bravo, Zack. Way to squash a bug after I wiped the floor with you last weekend. But I'm not here to talk about that match, I'm here to talk about our next one. You see, Zack, you have something that belongs to me. That thing is the Intercontinental Championship. You didn't earn that title, you didn't beat me fair and square. Sheamus picks him up and tosses him like a ragdoll over his head into the corner of the ring. As he walks over, Ziggler hits the Zig Zag out of nowhere! Sheamus once again kicks out! The crowds electric, and are approving of the match presented infront of them.

Ziggler sets up Sheamus on the turnbuckle and hits a facebuster, which somehow Sheamus once again kicks out of! Ziggler is getting frustrated, he sits up in disbelief. Dean Ambrose: Hey man, don't let Shane get to you. You're doing great. You earned that belt, you deserve to wear it around your waist. We got this. Just don't let you're mind get the best of you. Relax out there tonight and lets have fun.

Reigns reverses the reverse and actually picks up Rusev! He slams him down. Ambrose tries to call for a tag, but Reigns ignores him.

He manages to get a tag to Roman Reigns, who fights off Del Rio's onslaught. Ambrose has recovered by now, and is calling to go back in. As Del Rio tags in Rusev, Reigns argues with Ambrose.
