Mauro Ranallo: Welcome everyone! This is Smackdown Live, and I am Mauro Ranallo! To my right is David Otunga, and to my left and JBL, and we are in for a treat here tonight as we are on the path to Roadblock!

JBL: That’s right Mauro! We are only a few weeks out of Roadblock, and I couldn’t be more excited! It is the first Raw and Smackdown PPV, and the rumor is that there will be eleven matches on this stacked card!

David Otunga: I can’t wait to see what develops here tonight!

Shane McMahon: Hello Arizona! Man I thought this state was hot, but this crowd is on fire here tonight! Now, I am out here for a little personal gain. Daniel Bryan is at home here with Brie Bella as they are expecting their baby girl, so with that I am in full control here tonight! So with that, I have a little selfish act because I am dying to see this! AJ Styles does not have an opponent for Roadblock in a few weeks with Finn Balor being injured now, John Cena and Neville have unfinished business that I would like them to settle, so I think we can two potential contenders for the WWE Championship. Those two men are, Bray Wyatt, and Broken Matt Hardy! That is why in tonight’s main event, it will be Bray Wyatt versus Broken Matt Hardy and the winner will go on to face AJ Styles at Roadblock for the WWE Title.

Mauro Ranallo: What a pipebomb from the commissioner!

JBL: Bray Wyatt and Broken Matt Hardy will meet up finally in a match here tonight, I don’t think any of us are ready for that!

Nikki Bella I was the heart and soul of the Divas division here in the WWE for many years. When I left so many people went to social media crying for me to come back. I came back, and kept winning. I was the longest reigning Divas Champion, and I have battled through an almost career ending neck surgery just to come back, and see this fake “Boss” in my ring, holding up the Women’s Title. No. I refuse to accept that this is what the Women’s Revolution has come too. You wanted us to show our wrestling skills, but the girl doesn’t look like she has eaten since a session with Snoop, if you are sniffing what I am smoking. So, Sasha, I know you aren’t here tonight…but I have a proposition for you. Me, you, Roadblock for that Women’s Championship. Show what a true champion you are, or aren’t. I am ready, and will take back what is mine!

    Mauro Ranallo:

JBL: I think AJ Styles is in for a very rude awakening next week. You don’t do that to someone like Bray Wyatt.

Kota Ibushi v. Jushin Thunder Liger
Jushin wasted no time in going after his country rival, but soon found himself at the mercy of The Technical Wizard. Kota Ibushi took control of Thunder Liger, locking on a straitjacket hold until Jushin forced a break and elbowed his rival in the corner. Jushin played some mind games with Ibushi, which frustrated the Golden Star and allowed Jushin to work over his peer’s left leg, weakening it for his kneebar.

Kota responded in kind, targeting Jushin’s arm with brutal stomps and submissions. Despite the attack, Jushin hung hold for hold with his rival, continuing his attack on Kota’s leg. The masked one was persistent and succeeded in locking on the kneebar, though Kota did not tap out. Instead, the two rolled out of the ring while still in the hold, a move that left Kota grabbing his left arm in pain.

Despite Jushin ruthlessly attacking his arm and leg, Kota again showed off his counter-wrestling ability. He caught Jushin in mid-air, then used his legs to trap the arms of the legend and bend them back at a disgusting degree, leaving Jushin no choice but to give up.

      Winner: Kota Ibushi

      Johnny Gargano v. Tommaso Ciampa
The final match of the CWC’s night was also the most anticipated, as one of NXT’s hottest tag teams at the moment, Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa, squared off for the last spot in the sweet sixteen of this summer’s biggest tournament. Tensions were high in the locker room, as Johnny Wrestling said he saw Ciampa as “just another guy” in the tournament, while Ciampa declared he was going into the battle with the intent to hurt his teammate.

Though the two partners and close friends seemed to be on the same wavelength early on, going hold for hold with each other, Gargano gained the early advantage on the canvas. When they got back to their feet, Ciampa took control of the bout by force, cracking his partner in the mouth with a hard elbow. Ciampa stayed on the attack, clobbering his friend with elbows, knees and chops around the arena.

Gargano got back into the match with a slingshot DDT that left Ciampa reeling. Johnny Wrestling stayed on his partner, connecting with a powerbomb and diving onto Ciampa at ringside. However, Ciampa could not be kept down, as he rocked Gargano with a knee back in the ring. The bout spilled out to the apron, where the two exchanged strikes again. Ciampa got the upper hand and stunned everyone in the arena when he dropped Gargano spine-first into the ring apron with an Air Raid Crash. Still, his resilient friend would not stay down for the three-count after the devastating move.

The normally ruthless Ciampa had the next round in his sights as he pulled down his kneepad to clock Gargano, but he hesitated to strike his friend and got caught with a superkick. “The Sicilian Psychopath” didn’t make that mistake twice, picking Gargano up for the brutal powerbomb/backbreaker combination he calls Project Ciampa. Against any other competitor, on any other night, that would have been the end. However, Gargano is all heart and kicked out at the last second, stunning Ciampa.

A glassy-eyed Gargano struggled to get back to his feet as his friend chopped him over and over again. Ciampa finally pulled Johnny Wrestling to his feet, where Gargano dared him to unleash one final blow. Ciampa removed his elbow pad, but Gargano ducked and took Ciampa down to the mat. Gargano got the upperhand in the scrum, pinning Ciampa with a cradle to win.

      Winner: Johnny Gargano

That main event was so much fun, that was the best match I've had with this game.

im not that far in, but the Bray storyline where someone is calling him a failure is definitely my favorite angle. Im hooked.

ill be dropping my two cents as i catch up if thats cool?

question-- how does a newbie get people to follow his universe?
                        Hey man!

I'm glad you're enjoying everything so far, I really enjoy doing this stuff.

Bray is one of my favorite characters to work with so that might be why his story lines are usually solid!

Keep throwing in your 2 cents! Always appreciated.

Then honestly. Build a fan base/ make some friends around here. Post your link in the universe thread, and most importantly don't give up. Keep posting and do your best to not go on extended breaks.

Well im stopping here. The idea to mix the rosters was super sick. Each show has been stacked with storylines and great matches

Do you actually play your matches and write around the reults (thats what i do) or do you book winners and losers before the matches?

Sounds good man! Can't wait for more feedback.

Perfect with a perfectly displayed headlock on Jordan to keep him grounded. After a few moments in the lock, Jordan is able to get to his feet and manages to launch Perfect chest first into the corner, right into a massive German suplex! Jordan with the bridge, only a two! John Cena: Neville, you think I am a stepping stone. That is fine. I have been busting some lines on you for the past few weeks because you don’t deserve the serious John Cena. If you want the serious John Cena, prove it to me next week, me, you in this very ring.
