Mauro Ranallo: Welcome everyone to the CWC! Tonight we have the final two matches for this show. Rey Mysterio taking on TJ Perkins, Johnny Gargano taking on Kota Ibushi, and the winners of those two matches facing off on Smackdown Live to take on Rich Swann at Roadblock for the Cruiserweight Championship!


Daniel Bryan: I can't believe it is coming to an end here tonight for this show, but I am very excited to have all these great talents every Tuesday night!
















Rey Mysterio v. TJ Perkins
Bell sounds as both men do some chain wrestling early. Dueling chants by the crowd. They continue to exchange on the mat until Perkins hooks in a Reverse Pendulum Stretch! Mysterio counters out with a roll-up for 2. They go back to the mat, then they evade each other until Perkins locks in a Octopus Stretch, then takes down Mysterio and locks in a Muta Lock. Mysterio gets to the ropes. Mysterio goes outside, but when Perkins goes to the apron, Mysterio dropkicks his knees out, sending Perkins outside. Mysterio then wipes out Perkins with a tope suicida headbutt attack! Back in, Mysterio hits a Rope-Walk Senton Bomb for a close 2. Mysterio locks Perkins in a variation of the Surfboard, but Perkins gets to the ropes. Big overhand chop by Mysterio, but Perkins with a handstand on the turnbuckles into a headscissors, then hits a Top Rope Rana that sends them both all the way to the outside! Back in, Perkins with a Senton Atomico for 2. Basement dropkick to the back of Mysterio’s head for 2. Armbar by Perkins, but Mysterio gets to the ropes. Side slam by Perkins for 2. Arm-Trap Chinlock by Perkins, then hits a suplex. Mysterio slips out of a back suplex, but Perkins with an uppercut. Perkins sent onto the apron, then Mysterio charges, leaps over the ropes and ranas Perkins all the way down to the outside! Mysterio with a head of steam and hits a Spring-Out Flip Dive, wiping out Perkins! “CWC” chants by Full Sail. Back in, Mysterio with a Springboard Elbow Drop for a close 2. “Lucha Libre” chants by Full Sail. Perkins avoids a corner charge, but Mysterio walks up the ropes and hits a missile dropkick, but Perkins avoids the Running Shooting Star Press and locks in the TJP Clutch, but Mysterio reaches the ropes! Leg kicks by Perkins, but Mysterio with another big overhand chop. They trade strikes, but Perkins with a spin kick, but then Mysterio with a superkick! Mysterio charges, but Perkins catches him with a dropkick to the knees. Mysterio avoids a charge and hits another superkick, but Perkins slips out of the 619. Perkins goes for the Detonation Kick, but Mysterio counters it with a DDT for a close 2. Mysterio heads up top and goes for a Moonsault, but Perkins gets the feet up. Dodon by Perkins for a close 2, then locks Mysterio back in the TJP Clutch! Mysterio crawls to the ropes, but Perkins pulls him back to the center! “Do not tap” chants by the crowd. Perkins goes to pull Mysterio back again, but Mysterio counters with a roll-up for a real close 2. “This is awesome” chants by Full Sail. Mysterio hits the 619, but he hurt his knee on the way down. Mysterio drapes the arm over, but Perkins kicks out as Mysterio is clutching his leg in pain. Dueling chants by Full Sail for both men. Mysterio with strikes to Perkins, but Perkins counters out of the 619 and hits a slingshot dropkick. Perkins heads up top, but Mysterio stops him with an enziguri. They fight up top, then Mysterio goes for a Super Samoan Driver, but Perkins counters out right back into the TJP Clutch in the dead-center of the ring!

Mysterio tries to fight it, but cannot and taps! WOW!

Johnny Gargano v. Kota Ibushi
Kota Ibushi came into the Cruiserweight Classic as the favorite to win it all, but if there is one man who could play spoiler, it’s Johnny Gargano. The veteran competitor showed in his second-round matchup that he is willing to do whatever it takes to win, including scratch and claw his way to having his hand raised.

Garganno showed early on that he also is willing to play mind games to try and gain an advantage over his opponent. However, Ibushi showed Gargano why they call him The Golden Star. The Japanese competitor flew across the ring with supreme grace as he had his veteran adversary reeling in the early goings.

Johnny’s technical offense would know no bounds though, as he tangled Ibushi’s foot up in the guardrail outside the ring, nearly getting the high-flyer counted out. The man of all men continued his rabid attack, focusing on Ibushi’s neck. The grizzled veteran threw everything but the kitchen sink at Ibushi, including his newly trademarked brain-buster.

This grueling battle would finally come to a dramatic end after Ibushi delivered an emphatic kick to his seasoned foe, then hit his Last Ride Powerbomb for the victory. Following the contest, Daniel Bryan and Mauro Ranallo left their position at commentary to join the two men on the finale of CWC.

Seth Rollins: I'm not sure what the hell is going on around here, Triple H has lost contact with me, I had to team up with Roman Reigns, and now during our tag team match Triple H's music hits and allows that weasel IC champ Eric Young to pin me. Eric Young I hope that made your life, because you will never, EVER, be able to pin me again.









Eric Young: Well I sure as hell pinned you last week! Seth, I don't care what title you are going after, you are still strapless, and I am the Intercontinental Champion, and you have to respect that. I defeated Roman Reigns, and I have pinned you...where is Dean Ambrose and I can make it a trifecta *laughs*












Roman Reigns: Alright, enough you punk *** bitch. If you want to come out here and run your mouth that you can defeat all of the former Shield member, boy I sure would like to see you try. You have entered the WWE and have won your matches, most by luck, but have won...but Eric, if there is ever one thing I can promise you it is that at Roadblock in two weeks, there won't be another run in you.














Adam Copeland: Okay that is enough! Since we still have some unfinished business here looming from last week, it will be Roman Reigns versus Kenny Omega as our main event, and Seth Rollins versus Eric Young...RIGHT NOW!





Seth Rollins vs. Eric Young
They lock up, and Rollins backs him to the corner. Rollins rakes the face before throwing him across the ring by his hair. Rollins stomps him before hitting a hangman on the top rope. Rollins kicks him before applying a chin lock. Young fights up and elbows out, but Rollins kicks him down and begins the Three Amigos. Rollins finishes it off for a two count. Rollins chokes him on the rope before hitting a snapmare and a chin lock. EY fights up and hits a jawbreaker. Young ducks a clothesline and hits a pair of dropkicks. Young goes for Youngblood, but Rollins sidesteps him and throws him out of the ring.

-Commercial Break-

We come back from the break to see Young punching away at Rollins before sending him into the ropes. Young lowers his head and eats a kick, taking him down. Rollins drops a knee for a two count. Rollins yells at the referee over the count. Rollins rubs EY’s face into the mat before kicking him. Rollins goes outside and attacks him as he hangs over the apron. Rollins then hits a running kick to the head. Rollins gets back in the ring and kicks him around a bit. Rollins then grinds his foot into his face before slapping his head. Young tries to punch him, but Rollins avoids it. Rollins sends him into the ropes and hits a back elbow for a near fall. Rollins goes back to the chin lock, but Young fights up and backs him to the corner. Rollins keeps the hold applied, so Young slams him into the corner again.

Young sidesteps an avalanche and hits a pair of right hands. Young hits the ropes and hits a flying clothesline. EY splashes him in the corner and hits some rapid punches in the corner. Young connects with a neckbreaker for a two count. Young hits a back suplex for another two count. EY blocks a punch, and Rollins blocks his. Rollins goes for a back suplex, but Young turns on the way down and splashes him for a two count...







Eric Young is looking up the ramp, but Seth Rollins turns him around and connects with the Pedigree! One...two...three!

Charlotte Flair: Becky, I did try to put you down last week...and I am a little pissed off it didn't work out how I wanted it to, but disregard that. I have to put my title on the line against you in two weeks at Roadblock, but it has to be under a major stipulation.



Becky Lynch: You want both hands tied behind my back, want me blind-folded? Whatever it is Charlotte I will still kick you arse!


Charlotte Flair: Your funeral. I challenge you to a Falls Count Anywhere match!




Corey Graves: My God! Charlotte and Becky will be meeting up in two weeks at Roadblock for the Raw Women's Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere Match!

Vaudevillians vs. Shawn Michaels & Ric Flair
Shawn and Gotch open up the match going toe to toe, with Shawn working an early headlock. Gotch is able to get out of it, and work Shawn into his corner to tag in Aiden English. English now is working Shawn over in the corner, as the manly men continue to do rapid tags on the Heart Break Kid. With Simon Gotch back in the ring, Shawn Michaels manages to do an atomic drop really putting a hurt on the groin! Shawn dives and tags in Ric Flair, and Simon Gotch manages to tag in Aiden English! Flair brings his chops with him and takes down English, and Gotch as well since he tried to interfere!

English goes for a punch onto Flair, but Ric moves out of the way, and SWEET CHIN MUSIC ONTO ENGLISH! One for Simon Gotch as well! Ric Flair with the Figure-Four Leg-Lock onto Aiden Enlgish, he taps!

The Tag Team Champions are celebrating inside the squared circle, but from behind Tyler Breeze, and Fandango come from behind and knock them down! Rapid stomps have the champs reeling, SUPER MODEL KICK TO MICHAELS! Fandango with a Super Model Kick as well to Flair! Breezango pick up the tag titles and raise them high to a chorus of boo's.

Cesaro: Brock Lesnar does not intimidate me, hell he doesn't even bother me. I know I can defeat him, and I think facing a champion will help me prepare just fine!










Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn
Cesaro attempts repeated kip ups as Sami Zayn hangs on. Zayn with a head scissors takedown into a cover for a two count. Cesaro with a big tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Zayn. Cesaro catches Zayn with a huge uppercut as we head to a break.

We are back live as Cesaro is working over the head of Zayn in a headlock. Zayn breaks free and throws an elbow at Cesaro in the corner. Zayn with a cross body for a two count. Another uppercut by Cesaro. Cesaro with a running uppercut, another uppercut and a third uppercut. Cesaro calls for the swing. Zayn counters and Cesaro stomps over his chest. Cesaro with a kick to the face of Zayn. Zayn fires back with a big clothesline. Cesaro catches Zayn with a shot in the corner. Zayn with a Michinoku Driver for a two count. Zayn goes up top and Cesaro catches him with a dropkick. Cesaro hooks the arm of Zayn from the ring apron and suplexes him from the top rope for a close two count. Zayn counters a Neutralizer attempt. Zayn pulls off a crazy sunset flip on Cesaro to get the pin attempt, Cesaro kicks out at two! The Miz from behind! SKULL CRUSHING FINALE! Cesaro is looking at Miz in a mass amount of confusion, and The Miz bails to the outside and leaves as Cesaro is dumbfounded, and Sami Zayn has been laid out.

Roman Reigns vs. Kenny Omega
The bell rings, and they take their time before locking up. They tussle around the ring for position before giving a clean break. Omega faked him out with an uppercut before backing up. Omega applies a waistlock, but Reigns counters with a side headlock. Omega goes to whip him off before transitioning to a side headlock. Reigns twists out and executes a headlock takeover. Omega gets out with a head-scissor, but Reigns kips up out of it. Omega kips up for good measure. Omega applies a side headlock before wrenching the arm. Reigns reverses a whip into the ropes, but Omega twists to the apron to boot him in the face. Omega goes to the top rope, but cartwheels on the top rope to avoid Reigns’ attack! Omega rolls him up for a two count. Kenny springboards off the second rope with a sunset flip, but Reigns rolls through and picks up a two count. Kenny then applies a side headlock. Reigns fights up and whips him off. Reigns drops down, and Kenny grabs him for a deadlift gutwrench suplex for a near fall. Reigns blocks a suplex, as does Kenny. Reigns applies a waistlock, but Kenny elbows out. Kenny hits the ropes, but Reigns takes him down with a tilt-a-whirl powerslam for a near fall.




WHAT!? Triple H’s music again!? WAIT! Seth Rollins grabs Kenny Omega, he came from the crowd! PEDIGREE! Roman Reigns and the referee are distracted looking up the ramp, Roman turns around and sees Kenny down, he goes for the cover…1-2-3!

Hardcore Tourney Match:
Kevin Owens v. Sabu
Owens and Sabu brawl on the outside right away. Owens sends Sabu into the ring barricade with a thud. Sabu irish whips Owens into the other ring barricade. Sabu with another barricade shot on Owens and follows with a clothesline. Back inside the ring, Sabu catches Owens with a heel kick. Sabu with a kick to the face of Owens and attempts a springboard when Owens crotches him on the top rope. Owens with his somersault to Sabu in the corner. Owens yells at Sabu to look at him. Owens with right hands and chops. More chops from Owens that level Sabu. Owens drops Sabu off the top rope and continues with back and front kicks. Owens with a senton splash that almost doesn’t catch Sabu. Owens with a snapmare to Sabu, teases a kick to the back and instead pulls Sabu down in a headlock. The referee asks Sabu if he wants to give up. Owens yells, “Yes he does!” Sabu quickly disagrees. Sabu with a Michinoku Driver on Owens. With Owens on the outside, Sabu tries dropping down on the top rope to flip back and ends up botching it. Sabu is favoring his right shoulder/arm. Owens throws the bad shoulder of Zayn off the steel ring post. Back inside, Sabu somehow catches Owens with a leaping high kick for a close two count. Both are up top. Owens is looking to hit a superplex. Sabu fights off Owens and Owens falls back. Sabu jumps, Owens moves and Sabu eats a big superkick from Owens. Owens with a Crossface on Sabu. Sabu is pulling himself towards the ropes. Sabu gets his feet on the bottom rope to break it up.

Owens with a standing clothesline shot on Sabu in the corner. Sabu with an overhead suplex on Owens into the corner. Owens rolls out. Owens gets Sabu on his shoulders on the ring apron. Sabu drops down and hits a suplex on Owens right over the ring apron! Owens grabs a kendo stick and lands a few shots before Sabu and Owens exchange right hands. Sabu gets the better of Owens. Owens covers up and rolls out. Owens catches Sabu with a superkick as Sabu charged in to the opening in the corner. Owens with his cannonball catching some of Sabu in the corner. Owens off the top connecting with a frog splash. Owens hooks the leg and Sabu somehow kicks out. Owens grabs a chair and beats down Sabu with it before placing it on his torso...another frog splash!

Curtis Axel w/Mr. Perfect vs. Chad Gable w/Jason Jordan
The bell rings, and Gable slams Axel down before giving him a monkey flip. Gable applies a hanging arm bar before taking him over the top rope with a cross-body block. Gable ducks a shot fromPerfect before Axel takes him down. Axel gets him in the ring and punches away at him. Axel hits a back suplex for a two count. Axel applies a chin lock, but Gable fights up. Axel sends him over the top rope, but he skins the cat and pulls Axel out of the ring. Gable catches him with an exploder suplex before punching him. Gable comes off the top rope with a cross-body. Gable leaves the ring and avoids an attack from Perfect. Jordan attempts to hit Perfect with a belly-to-belly alpha-plex on the floor, but Perfect low blows Jason! Inside the ring, Gable rolls him up and hits a German Suplex, but before he could fully get into the cover, Perfect pulls Axel out of the ring! The father and son walk away, and Gable wins via count-out.

Sasha Banks heads to the ring. We see footage of last week of Sasha Banks going after Nikki Bella and Bella getting away. Back live, Banks has a mic and talks about Nikki Bella trying so desperately to feel important again in the WWE, but says it isn't 2010 anymore. She doesn’t get Nikki’s popularity. Banks said it is your lucky day because she is here to spill the truth.

Nikki Bella’s music hits and she walks out to interrupt. Nikki grabs a mic and says Sasha can say what she has to say to her face. Sasha talks about Nikki being able to get away with anything around here since her boyfriend is John Cena. She refuses to walk on eggshells around here and says Nikki isn’t fearless because she goes home with Cena.

Nikki congratulates Banks on being a jealous *****. Banks accuses Nikki of trying to hide something. Nikki is confused and says they aren’t trying to hide it. She chooses to focus on her role as a wrestler on this show. Nikki calls Banks an internet bully. Sasha said she is just exposing Nikki for the needy, whiny, “gold digger” that she is. She has a clip for Nikki. It’s footage from Total Bellas and Nikki coming off very needy. Back live, Sasha is smiling. Nikki says Sasha knows how to edit and talks about paving her own road. “I wear the damn pants in my relationship,” said Nikki. She talks about “they” not believing in her and how she trained even harder. Nikki talks about being counted out when she hurt her neck and she wears the word “fearless” on her shirt proudly. She adds not being afraid of some Boss or Queen or Lass Kicker. Banks said she tells the truth and truth is that Nikki used her looks to get her foot in the door. “You used your sister to get your foot in the ring. And you used your boyfriend, John Cena, to become a celebrity.” Banks drops the mic and rolls out of the ring heading to the back.

Cruiserweight Semi-Finals:
TJ Perkins vs. Kota Ibushi
Perkins checks a couple of leg kicks from Ibushi early. More dueling chants from the crowd. Perkins catches a kick and goes for the TJP Clutch, but Ibushi quickly gets free. Hand-Stand Headscissors by Perkins for 2. Series of evasions, then Ibushi catches Perkins with a running chest kick. Perkins does the Spidey Move in the ropes to evade Ibushi, but Ibushi catches him with a springboard dropkick, sending Perkins outside. Ibushi goes for the Golden Triangle, but Perkins hops on the apron and kicks out Ibushi’s legs, sending him crashing hard to the outside. Ibushi tries to roll back in, but falls back outside, then just gets back in before the 10 count. Perkins with a basement dropkick to the back of Ibushi’s head for 2. Chinlock applied. Ibushi gets out and drills Perkins with a chest kick, but Perkins then catches another and hits a Dragon Screw. Toe Hold applied by Perkins, then he switches to a Sugar Hold. Ibushi gets out, then catches Perkins with a dropkick. Ibushi with a rana that sends Perkins outside. Ibushi charges and this times wipes out Perkins with the Golden Triangle Moonsault! Back in, Ibushi heads up top and hits a missile dropkick for 2. Ibushi charges in, but Perkins catches him with a head kick. Ibushi with a powerslam, then rolls through to go for the Second Rope Moonsault, but Perkins gets the knee up! TJP Clutch locked in, but Ibushi gets to the ropes. Perkins with a spin kick, but Ibushi slips out of the Detonation Kick and hits a Dragon for a close 2. Big chest kicks by Ibushi that send Perkins to the apron. More kicks by Ibushi while Perkins is in the ropes. Ibushi goes for the Deadlift Super German, but Perkins blocks it. Perkins with a slingshot dropkick, then heads up top, but Ibushi knocks him off with a Pele! Ibushi goes for the Golden Star Bomb, but Perkins counters it with a Tornado DDT, followed by his version of Dodon for a very close 2. “This is awesome” chants by the crowd. Ibushi again counters the Detonation Kick, but Perkins catches the Pele Kick into the TJP Clutch! Ibushi gets out, then drills Perkins with slaps and a spinning back kick! Ibushi calls for the end and goes for the Phoenix Splash, but Perkins moves out of the way! They trade strikes once they get back to their feet. Perkins avoids a head kick and this time hits the Detonation Kick, then goes for the wheelbarrow takedown into the TJP Clutch, but Ibushi blocks it and drives Perkins down for a real close 2. Head kick by Ibushi,the Golden Star Bomb!

Neville vs. Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho with a slap early to Neville. Neville fires back with a right elbow. Neville with a series of charging takedowns on Jericho. Neville catapults Jericho over the top rope preventing a dropkick. Neville hits the ropes, Jericho moves out of the way, Neville hangs on the ropes and flips backwards back inside the ring. Jericho is arguing with fans on the outside. Neville walks out and kicks Jericho in the gut. Neville tosses Jericho back inside, goes up top, jumps and catches Jericho with a huge cross body. Jericho then crawls over and hides behind the referee in the corner. Neville with kicks to Jericho. The referee tries to back Neville off. Jericho with a rake of the eyes and clothesline to Neville.

We are back live as we see Jericho catching Neville with a springboard elbow from the corner. Jericho had dumped Neville off the corner face first countering a superplex attempt. Neville catches Jericho with knees to the head. Jericho fires back with an elbow in the corner. Jericho is back up top and eats a shot from Neville on the way down. Neville with a standing shooting star press on Jericho for a two count. Neville with a chop to Jericho. Jericho bails. Neville with a running dropkick to the face of Jericho and then catches him on the outside with a springboard moonsault bouncing off the second rope. Back inside, Jericho tries to knock Neville off the top and Neville jumps down. Neville with a springboard missile dropkick that results in another two count off a pinfall attempt. Neville counters a running bulldog attempt by Jericho sending him chest first into the corner. Neville with an elbow to the back of the neck. Jericho with a counter and is going for the Walls of Jericho. Neville counters into a small package for a two count. Neville avoids a Codebreaker and lands a superkick. Neville goes up top... RED ARROW! 1-2-3.

John Cena angrily runs down the ramp and wipes Neville out with a huge clothesline. Cena goes for an AA, but Neville counters into a reverse DDT. The crowd loudly boos Neville as he stands over Cena. Neville says, “I am sick and tired of hearing the future goes through John Cena. In two Sundays when I beat you, Cena, I will be the face that runs this place! You say you love the WWE? That’s great because I’m going to make your passion your prison. As I already told you once, boy, your time is up. My time is now!” The crowd boos Neville as he goes to leave the ring. Neville then stops and goes for an AA, but Cena comes back with an AA!

Cena goes outside and takes the top off the commentary table before removing the monitors. Cena slams Neville's head off the steel steps and sets them up in front of the table. Cena gets him on his shoulders and climbs the steps before slamming him through the table with a vicious AA! Cena gets in the ring and poses for the crowd.
