                  May 2016 Week 4

                  - The show begins and GM William Regal makes his way to the ring.

Regal: “Welcome to NXT. We have just come off another amazing Takeover event and we have new champions, new superstars, and a whole lot of new action. Before we get started tonight I would like to address the recent announcement of more Takeover events. This is an exciting time for NXT and our next Takeover event will be in 5 short week. I will have more information on that even later this evening but I do have a couple of other announcements to make regarding new talent. At Revenge we saw the in ring debut of 2 new superstars as well as the unveiling of a superstar who has been lurking around recently in Mia Yim. Tonight, we will see the in ring debut of her. We will also see a first round TV Championship Tournament match as Tino Sabbatelli faces off with Tye Dillinger *a huge 10 chant goes through the arena*. We will also see newly crowned Women’s Champion Bayley face off with Dana Brooke in a title match. But that’s enough talk for now. We begin tonight’s action between two tag teams who have just been officially signed to NXT contracts. Introducing first, two men who made an impact on the premiere episode of the Cruiserweight Classic, Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett. And there opponents recently signed and are making their debut tonight, international superstars, Shane Thorne and Nick Miller, TM-61.

                  TM-61 (Nick Miller/Shane Thorne) v. Trevor Lee/Andrew Everett

                  - Lee delivered a running dropkick on Thorne and got a 1 count.
                  - Everett ducked a clothesline attempt by Miller and delivered a Pele kick
                  - Miller delivered a spin out driver to Everett and Thorne cuts Lee off from making the save

                  Spoiler

                  - We go to commercial and when we come back, “Destroyer” hits the speakers and out comes NXT Champion, Samoa Joe.

Joe: “Last Saturday I was forced to face that worthless Hideo Itami because he was looking for so called revenge. He accused me of attacking him last year and taking his place in a number one contender’s match and you know what, it was me and there was nothing he could do about it.”

                  - “Tokiwatita (Time Has Come)” hits the speakers and out comes Hideo Itami to the ring.

Joe: “What the hell do you think you are doing out here? Didn’t you get enough of me on Saturday? You’re lucky to even be able to walk down that ramp if it wasn’t for that fool Nakamura deciding to stick his nose into places they didn’t belong.”

                  - “Rising Sun” hits the speakers and out comes Nakamura to the stage and begins to make his way towards the ring, when “Ambition and Violence” hits the speakers and out comes Austin Aries.

Aries: “Namamura, don’t even think you deserve to step in that ring after I beat you at Takeover.”

                  - Nakamura turns back up the ramp to face Aries when “regality” hits the speakers and out comes GM William Regal.

Regal: “Hold on. I’ve been around this business long enough to figure out what might happen here and I will not have it on my show. The four of you want a piece of each other than fine, you will get it. In tonight’s main event it will be NXT Champion, Samoa Joe and Austin Aries facing off with Hideo Itami and Shinsuke Nakamura.”

                  TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP 1st ROUND:

                  - We come back from commercial and Dana Brooke is being interviewed. She says that she is better than Ember Moon and the only reason Moon beat her Saturday was because Brooke wasn't worreid about her and was focused on winning the NXT Women's Championship. Violet (local talent) v. “The Jade Dragon” Mia Yim

                  - Yim made very short work of Violet attacking her as soon as the bell rang and delivering a package piledriver very quickly into the match.

                  - The show goes to commercial and when it comes back Bayley is being interviewed before her big match. Yep really thought that match would be good. It's actually one of the reasons I decided to add the extra couple of Takeover events. Should be a good one.

great main event. man, so far it seems like aries has nakamuras number. and joe has itamis

im a big fan of your NXT shows

Thanks, definitely digging NXT for sure. It's a bit easier to get into things right now since the champs are known. Once RAW and SD crown champs those will get going even better.

I thought this week went really well and introduced a few new superstars to the mix.

Plus the return of Kenny Doane attacking Dillinger and actually coming up with a little backstory I liked.

                          May 2016 Week 4

                          - The show begins and Christian makes his way to the ring.

Christian: “Welcome to Smackdown, welcome to the show of opportunity. We have proven over the past few weeks that Smackdown truly is the land of opportunity. We have seen new arrivals, we have seen shocking upsets and tonight we continue our quest to crown the first ever Smackdown brand champions. Tonight we have our next women’s championship 1st round match as Becky Lynch faces a returning superstar. We will also see the semifinals in the Smackdown Tag Championship tournament as Beer Money faces The Vaudevillains and the surprising British Beatdown face The Usos. And speaking of the tag team tournament, Smackdown will not be waiting until Battleground to crown its champions as next week we will crown our first ever Smackdown Tag Champions. And finally we have the final three 1st round matches in the Smackdown Championship tournament as Damien Sandow faces Bo Dallas, Daniel Bryan battles Mike Bennet and in the Main Event Cody Rhodes goes one on one with Dolph Ziggler. But let’s get to action.”
