He will make his first title defense in two weeks against the winner of a #1 contenders match on the Takeover preshow between the 3 men who he beat tonight. And speaking of Takeover, as I announced last week, next week we will have #DIY, Blake & Murphy, TM-61, and The Helms Dynasty face off in the first round of a #1 contender’s tag tournament. But after the events of tonight, I have added another match to the preshow as Carmella and Liv Morgan will face off with Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. I have also decided that since this is Takeover: Fatal 4-way 2, that the NXT fans deserve a 2nd Fatal 4-way match so in just under two weeks I have decided to change a couple matches and make the women’s championship match a fatal 4-way as Champion, Bayley defends against former champion, Asuka, “The Jade Dragon” Mia Yim, and Alexa Bliss.”

- Joe took Aries down to the mat but Aries pushed him away with his feet

Well Stephanie did give The Revival an ultimatum recently and then Rollins went and lost the World Title to Smackdown's Cesaro (something I think a lot of people missed) and Perkins failed in the finals of the CWC to Smackdown's Neville. I'm thinking she isn't going to be really happy right now.

July 2016 Week 1

- The show begins and Stephanie McMahon is already in the ring.

Stephanie: “I want EVERY member of the RAW roster out here right now.”

- The entire roster makes their way out to the stage.

Stephanie: “I am sick and tired of this losing. Just a few weeks ago, RAW had all 3 World Titles and NOW, even with the addition of a new World Title we only have 1. RAW is the supposed to be the A Show and you guys are showing that you are a bunch of losers. So, let’s get down to things. First of all, The Revival, I already gave you your Ultimatum last week. As for the rest of the roster, let’s see. Oh yeah, let’s start with the Cruiserweights and more specifically TJ Perkins. TJ, you failed last night in becoming the first WWE World Cruiserweight Champion. I don’t take failure lightly. In fact, you are lucky that you have some people on your side for some reason and because you have already qualified, by somehow beating Brian Kendrick which doesn’t show much for your second chance you’ve been given Brian, for the RAW Cruiserweight Championship I guess you have a job for now. Like I’ve said before, I’m not here to give opportunities and handouts to everyone who thinks they deserve one, I want results. I am not impressed with our current Cruiserweight Division and I want some name value so that is why I went out and signed one of the biggest names in the division and that man will debut at Capitol Punishment in the RAW Cruiserweight Championship match making it a fatal 4-way. Now, let’s move onto the women’s division. Beth Phoenix, you seem to be the only champion around here who knows how to win, but I want to challenge you to make sure you’re not just getting lucky. Tonight, you are teaming with Kaitlyn against the Charlotte and Natalya and then next week you will defend the RAW Women’s Championship in a fatal 4-way. Now this gets me to the pathetic United States division. We need a real champion in there and not a waste of space like you Ryback to make it prestigious. Tonight, we will see a 6-man battle royal #1 contenders match between Dean Ambrose, John Morrison, Ethan Carter, Kevin Owens, Rusev, and Chris Jericho. And last, but certainly NOT least this brings me to our RAW Championship and the World Championship. Seth Rollins, get your *** down here.”

*Rollins makes his way to the ring*

Stephanie: “Seth, you were handed the world on a silver platter and you have failed time and time again. You were handed the World Championship and then handed the World Championship rematch and now you go and not only lose the World Championship to Smackdown, but you lost it to Cesaro.”

*Rollins goes to speak but Steph stops him*

Stephanie: “No, this isn’t your time for excuses right now. Right now this is my time. Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Randy Orton get your asses down here.”

*The three men she called down make their way to the ring*

Stephanie: “So, you four men think you are the top dogs, fine, PROVE IT! Tonight, you four will be in a tag match with Reigns and Orton taking on Rollins and Lesnar. Next week you will be in a fatal 4-way match, at Capitol Punishment the match between Reigns and Rollins is now a #1 contender’s match and there will be a RAW Championship match the night after Capitol Punishment with the winner getting RAWs shot at the World Championship the following week. NOW, the 4 of you get out of my ring and everyone needs to show me you all deserve to be here.”

Xavier Woods v. Primo

- Woods delivered a snap DDT to Primo and got a 2 count
- Primo delivered a backstabber for a 2 count
- Woods delivered a shining wizard to a kneeling Primo but only got a 2 count
- Primo got a 2 count after a standing enziguiri
- Woods delivered Lost in the Woods for a 2 count
- Epico showed up and distracted Woods

- Primo took Woods down with a backstabber and then delivered a big splash off the top rope and followed up with a neck snap.

Dean Ambrose v. John Morrison v. Ethan Carter v. Kevin Owens v. Rusev v. Chris Jericho

ORDER OF ELIMINATION
- Rusev was eliminated by Owens quite early in the match
- Dean Ambrose was eliminated after a punch by John Morrison
- John Morrison was eliminated after a drop kick by Ethan Carter
- Jericho had Owens on the ring apron and Carter came over and helped him eliminate him
- Chris Jericho was eliminated after being hit with a double knee facebuster and then being drop kicked over to the top rope

Kofi Kingston/Darren Young v. Nation of Pain (Big E/Titus O Neal) w/Mark Henry

- The Nation of Pain came out in new black and blue outfits

- Kofi delivered a series of elbow drops to Titus
- Kofi delivered Trouble in Paradise to Big E and got a 2 count broken up by Titus
- Big E delivered a big belly to belly to Young for a 1 coun
- Kofi delivered a dropkick to the back of a seated Big E and tagged in Young
- Kofi delivered a Monkey Flip out of the corner on Titus followed by a springboard cross body block for a 2 count
- Mark Henry took Darren Young out on the outside of the ring
- Titus delivered a big clothesline to Kofi followed by a big splash by Big E
- Big E delivered the Big Ending to Kofi but only got a 2 count
- Big E had a stare down with the ref which allowed Kofi to get to his feet and dropkick Big E as he was going to tag in Titus knocking Titus off the ring apron

- Jeff delivered a stall suplex sitout front facebuster to Dawson for a 2 count
- Dawson took out Jeff’s feet

- This match broke down very quickly with both teams fighting outside the ring early
- Outside the ring, Orton delivered an RKO to Rollins
- Brock delivered a series of suplexes to Orton but backed up and Rollins tagged himself in
- Rollins was hit with a spear by Reigns for a 2 count
- Rollins delivered a Falcon Arrow to Orton for a 2 count
- Orton delivered a series of stomps to Rollins
- Reigns delivered a spear to Lesnar knocking him off the ring apron
