Vince McMahon Gives Triple H NXT

- Vince McMahon has given full power to Triple H in regards to NXT. NXT will be filling in on Wednesday nights on the USA channel. NXT will be serving as a third brand now, and not a developing section for the WWE. Raw and Smackdown were allowed a final picking of NXT of one talent or a tag team each, and both Raw and Smackdown chose tag teams. Sanity will now be on Monday Night Raw, and The Authors of Pain will be on Smackdown. Starting next year NXT will be in the Superstar Shakeup, and they will still have their Pay-Per-Views along with being included in the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Money in the Bank, Summerslam, and Survivor Series. *I will be posting results only for a little while until I feel confident to add a detailed third show*

Trevor "Ricochet" Mann Signs with NXT

- If GIFs of indescribably creative wrestling moves have ever flooded your social feeds, there’s a good chance it was new NXT signee Trevor Mann that you were watching.

Better known by the ring name Ricochet, Mann, 29, of Paducah, Ky., officially reported today to NXT in Orlando, Fla.

The decorated high-flyer has captured countless titles over his 14-year career, including championships on three separate continents. Among his many accolades, Mann has twice won Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s annual Battle of Los Angeles tournament, and he is only the second American in history to win New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament. (The first was WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero.)

Standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 188 pounds, Mann brings an astonishing assortment of aerial moves to the ring. He first earned notoriety in Japan for an eye-popping double-moonsault, and his 630° senton remains one of the most potent weapons in his arsenal. Mann, who credits Guerrero, Rey Mysterio and The Rock as three of his in-ring influences, was inspired to pursue sports-entertainment after watching The Great One and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin do battle at WrestleMania XV.

War Machine Signs with NXT

- One of the planet’s most ferocious and intimidating tag teams is on its way to the WWE Performance Center.

New signees Todd “War Beard Hanson” Smith & Raymond Rowe, collectively known as War Machine, have terrorized teams around the world since forming an alliance in 2014. Together, they have won championships in the United States, England and Japan, including the prestigious IWGP Tag Team Titles, the same championship held by the likes of Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and The Steiner Brothers.

Weighing more than 550 pounds combined, the burly brawlers are every bit as tough as their War Machine moniker suggests. Smith & Rowe have made smash-mouth collisions their stock in trade, yet they’re more than just thunderous power; deceptively agile and expertly skilled, the pair has perfected an array of double-team moves, helping them achieve success wherever they go. With a gruff exterior that would look right at home beyond the wall in “Game of Thrones,” Smith & Rowe’s appearance alone is enough to strike fear in the hearts of opponents.

Both men were also celebrated singles competitors prior to forming a team. Smith, of Lynn, Mass., first learned the ropes under WWE Hall of Famer Killer Kowalski and began competing in 2001, and he soon emerged as one of New England’s hardest-hitting competitors. Michael Cole: Welcome everyone to Monday Night Raw! We have received some insane news that more competition is coming to the WWE, and that is that now Triple H is running NXT as a main roster brand!

Corey Graves: That is bone shuttering to the core with that announcement, and that Ricochet and War Machine are now members of that brand! Luckily Stephanie McMahon did pick us up Sanity!

Booker T: I wouldn't be calling us lucky, Corey! THEY'RE CRAZY!

Michael Cole: They're coming from everywhere! There's Cross! Wolfe is coming through the side of the arena! Dain is making his way through the crowd, and Young is on the opposite side!

Eric Young: CHAOS! Chaos is what brings us close, it is what gives us such a great bond. *laughs* CHAOS! I want the Freaks to join me while I discuss two people. One, who I care deeply for and the other, who I despise with unbridled passion. Come here!

Roman Reigns, you've attempted to become something that I can no longer bare to look at. But remember, as the path goes brighter it also goes darker. ONE ON ONE MATCH:
The Miz w/Maryse & Miztourage vs. Apollo Crews w/Titus Worldwide
Crews with a quick shoulder tackle early on Miz. Crews with two quick takedowns. Miz with kicks and punches to Crews in the corner. Crews blocks a headlock takedown. Crews with a series of counters and a big dropkick on Miz. Miz bails. Crews with a moonsault off the ring apron catching Miz on the outside as we head to a commercial break.

We are back live as Miz is eating right hands from Crews. Crews with a close roll up for a two count. Miz responds with a backbreaker over the leg and neckbreaker combo for a two count. Series of sunset flips attempts between Miz and Crews. Miz drops Crews with a big boot. Miz with a clothesline in the corner on Crews. Crews with an overhead belly-to-belly release suplex on Miz after Miz jumped off the corner. Crews with clotheslines, kick to the jaw and splash in the corner. Crews with a flying clothesline. Miz appears to rake the eyes of Crews as Miz rolls out of the ring. Crews goes for a baseball slide. Crews misses Miz, and nails Dallas. Miz shoves Crews into Titus O'Neil, and now into the outside pole and then pushes him a second time into it. Back inside the ring, Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale and gets the pinfall.

TAG TEAM MATCH:
Kings of Wrestling vs. The Revival
Dash & Cesaro start things off for their teams. Wilder with a waistlock takedown and then he turns it into a front facelock and Cesaro tries to roll through but Dash holds on. Dash with a hammerlock but Cesaro with an elbow and side headlock. Cesaro with a shoulder tackle and then he taunts Wilder with a pose. Dash tries for a hip toss and Cesaro blocks it. Cesaro tries for a hiptoss but then Wilder blocks Cesaro. Dash with a fireman’s carry and a couple armdrags into an armbar. Dash works on the arm but Cesaro with a European uppercut but then misses a clothesline and Dash makes the blind tag to Dawson, who delivers a clothesline from the top onto Cesaro. Dawson with a hiptoss to Cesaro and gets a nearfall. Dawson with a front facelock but Ohno is able to make the tag. Dawson slides in from the apron and applies an armdrag into the armbar. Ohno with a knee and he goes to work on the wrist. Dawson rolls through it and he reverses with a hammer lock. Ohno grabs the leg to get out of the hold, but Dawson surprises Ohno with a small package to gain a near fall. Ohno pushes Dawson and Scott punches Ohno in the face. Ohno argues with the referee before going back after Dawson and Ohno nails him a kick followed by a couple of chops. Ohno with a wristlock but Dawson with a knee and chops Ohno right back. Dawson with a right hand and then the side headlock to Ohno. Kassius with an Irish whip into the corner but Ohno runs into a boot and then Dawson clotheslines Cesaro off of the apron.

We come back from commercial to see the King back in control. Ohno tags in and the Kings setup for KRS-1 but Dawson runs in and delivers a diving head butt to Cesaro to break it up and Wilder rolls up Ohno for another nearfall. Ohno misses the roaring elbow on Wilder and Dawson with a lethal headbutt to Ohno. Wilder hot shots Cesaro and then The Revival connect with their tag finisher, Shatter Machine! Cesaro pulls Ohno out of the ring at the count of two! Ohno and Cesaro have their tag titles and are walking up the ramp as the referee is counting to 10.

Bray Wyatt vs. Goldust
The bell rings, and Goldust punches away at him before big booting him down. Wyatt rolls out of the ring to recover, so Goldust goes outside and clotheslines him down. Goldust gets him in the ring and kicks him. Wyatt quickly comes back with a clothesline before punching away at him. Goldust rolls out of the way of a senton splash before sending him to the outside. Goldust then hits a rolling senton off the apron! Goldust punches him before putting him in the ring. Wyatt hits him and sends him into the ring post. Wyatt pulls him into the ring, and Goldust gets a jackknife pin for a two count. Wyatt quickly lays him out with a flying body block before hitting Sister Abigail for the win.

Bray Wyatt: There is a pale horse on the horizon and the rider, his name is Wyatt. You people, you don't even know but your are on the brink of judgement day and I am the reaper. Don't get me wrong, man, you see I love you. I truly do, I love you. But I will not save your world, man. I wanna watch it burn. I wanna watch it fry. And you, my people, i want you to take my hand and stand inside the flames with me. And then together in the air we will rejoice as a family and we will dance on the ashes. Forever.

- The women's division decided to throw Asuka a congratulations celebration for defeating Paige at WrestleMania, keeping her undefeated streak, and becoming the new Women's Raw Champion. Asuka was right about to speak, but Paige and Absolution arrived and blind sided her and the entire division! They laid waste to everyone, but...

Trish Stratus and Lita are here! The two make their way down to the ring, but Absolution makes their way out of the ring, and go through the crowd! Trish and Lita are here to save the Women's Division from Absolution!

ONE ON ONE MATCH - INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP:
Jason Jordan w/Lars Sullivan vs. Samoa Joe
Jordan extends his hand for a shake, but Joe declines. The bell rings, and they circle the ring before locking up. Lars Sullivan is watching ringside. They give a clean break. Joe gets a waistlock applied, but Jordan quickly gets out and goes for a takedown. Joe doesn’t go down and instead connects with a pair of right hands. Joe drives him into the corner twice. Jordan tries to fight back, but Joe again backs him up with a punch. Joe starts clubbing him in the corner, but Jordan quickly counters before connecting with a belly-to-belly overhead suplex. Jordan drives some shoulders into Joe's midsection before punching away at him. Jordan puts him in the corner and stomps him down. Jordan whips him hard into the corner before whipping him sternum-first into the corner. Jordan charges, but Joe catches Jordan and plants him with a Uranage! Joe gets him in the corner and hits a series of strikes before hitting an elbow and an enziguri. Joe goes for a Coquina Clutch, but Jordan counters into a crossface. Joe gets to the ropes, and gives Jordan an elbow to the ribs! A second Uranage! Sullivan is in the ring! Joe comes after him but is met with a devastating heabutt. Lars picks up Joe and connects with a teardrop spinebuster!

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT:
- Finn Balor is seen backstage with The Club. They are all talking, and having a great time. Neville appears and says he wants his Cruiserweight Title back! The Club get in front of Balor, but Finn pops in the middle of them and says hey to Neville. Hideo Itami appears, and it seems we have a standoff here. Gallows and Anderson say they will gladly take on both men in singles matches next week, and if they beat them they can fight with Finn. Neville and Itami accept as Finn Balor is laughing behind The Club.

TAG TEAM MATCH:
The Shield (Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins) vs. Sanity (Eric Young & Alexander Wolfe) w/Nikki Cross and Killian Dain
The Shield works over Wolfe early. Eric Young then tags in and is officially a part of the match. The two teams brawl in the crowd, then back in, The Shield with a double-team on Young for the first nearfall of the match. The Shield now working over Young. Young avoids an avalanche in the corner and tags in Wolfe. Wolfe makes a comeback, hitting a pump kick on Roman and an exploder on Rollins. Wolfe then with a big boot and a release German on Roman. Wolfe fires up and hits a top rope clothesline on Roman, but Rollins breaks up the pin. Neckbreaker/Powerbomb combo by The Shield, and but wait! The Usos are making their way down to the ring? I guess Sanity isn't the only team that changed rosters after WrestleMania! Rollins gets on Wolfe for a nearfall. The Shield go for a Super Bomb, but Wolfe counters out with a Super Rana on Rollins! Roman sent outside, Young tagged in. School boy on Rollins!

- The Usos are attacking Seth Rollins! Roman Reigns joins in! Roman Reigns and The Usos with a Triple Powerbomb! They do the signature Shield pose!

Shane McMahon: Two nights ago...two nights ago I lost to Daniel Bryan. I lost at WrestleMania. We arguably had the match of the night, and now...I want more! Daniel Bryan, get your *** out here right now!

Daniel Bryan: YES! YES! YES! Shane McMahon. You have built a fire into me, and reflamed the fire of the WWE Universe! If you want me, you got me, one more time. However, this time it will be in a Kendo Stick Match! And if I beat you, we are done, no more Shane McMahon pretending to be a professional wrestler, no more Shane McMahon wrestling in MY ring!

Shane McMahon: You got it! *drops microphone*

- Commercial Break -

TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
The Bludgeon Brothers (c) vs. Rusev Day
Rowan starts off against Rusev. He takes him down and throws English off the apron. Harper takes out English on the outside by throwing him into the steel steps. Rusev tries to fight back, Rowan catches him and slams him. Tag is made to Harper and they double team him. Rowan gets the tag back, they delivered somewhat of a modified double chockeslam on Rusev. English battles back in the ring, and tries to save Rusev! Harper connects with a Discus Clothesline to down English! Rowan hits a Spinning Wheel Kick onto Rusev, and Rowan covers for the three count.

Byron Saxton: IT'S THE AUTHORS OF PAIN! They are making a B-line down to the ring after the Bludgeon Brothers!

The Authors of Pain hit the ring, and we have ourselves a huge all-out brawl between the two giant teams! Harper misses a boot on Rezar and drills Rowan out of the ring! The Authors of Pain work over Harper, and go for a Double Powerbomb, but once they get Harper up, Eric Rowan helps Harper down, and they bail up the ramp!

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT:
- We see the new Smackdown Live Women's Becky Lynch. She is in an interview, but Charlotte then shows up. Charlotte congratulated Becky for the showing at WrestleMania, and before they could keep talking...Ronda Rousey shows up! Ronda Rousey in the Superstar Shakeup has now been moved over to the Smackdown Live brand! Ronda says that she destroyed Sasha Banks, and with the help of Blazler took out her again, along with Bayley. Ronda is here on Smackdown Live to take out both Lynch and Charlotte, as well as becoming the NEW Smackdown Live Women's Champion. Becky and Charlotte look on as Ronda leaves with that pipe-bomb.

ONE ON ONE MATCH:
Jinder Mahal w/Singh Brothers vs. Randy Orton
The bell rings and here we go. Mahal avoids an early RKO and rolls out. Orton with a clothesline to Mahal on the outside. Mahal sends Orton into the side of the ring hitting his left shoulder. Mahal gets Orton back in and works over his left arm. A loud “LET’S GO JINDER/JINDER SUCKS” chant starts up. Orton breaks free and starts stomping away. Orton with repeated uppercuts to Mahal. Mahal goes back to work on the arm of Orton and then drops a quick knee off the ropes. Orton tosses Mahal over the top rope and then dumps him over the middle announce table at ringside! Back inside, Mahal recovers and goes back to work on the left arm/shoulder of Orton. Mahal hits the corner steel ring post with force when Orton moves out of the way. Orton crotches Mahal up on the top turnbuckle. Orton with a superplex to Mahal off the top. Orton with a snap powerslam on Mahal. Orton with a modified fallaway slam. Orton with his side backbreaker as Mahal rolls to the ring apron. Orton with his DDT off the ropes on Mahal. Orton is slapping his shoulder to fire himself up. Orton is ready for an RKO when Mahal rolls out. Orton rolls out and gets behind The Singh Brothers at ringside. Orton slaps one and tosses them both into the barricade and ring. Mahal sends Orton shoulder first into the steel ring post twice at ringside. Mahal tosses Orton back inside. RKO out of no where! The Singh Brothers pull Mahal out of the ring in front of the referee. Orton with RKO's onto both of the Singh Brothers! Orton brings one of the brothers to the ring, the other follows and Orton hits a double DDT off the ropes. Back inside, Mahal with his Cobra Clutch slam on Orton. Mahal pins Orton!

Jinder Mahal: Batista! Two nights ago you made what was supposed to be MY WrestleMania moment, and you buried it! You better bring yourself to the arena next week, because revenge will be sweet!

IN-RING SEGMENT:
- Shinsuke Nakamura makes his way down to a huge standing ovation. Shinsuke Nakamura says that he is finally the WWE Champion, something he has wanted for a long time now. He won the Royal Rumble, went on to Main Event WrestleMania and defeat a long-time foe of his in AJ Styles. He cannot wait for the rematch at the next Pay-Per-View to prove he is a fighting champion. AJ Styles makes his way down, and he said there is nothing more than what he wants than a rematch for his WWE Championship. The two men nod at each other, and go for a handshake, but Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable from the crowd show up! They are attacking both AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura! Gable and Benjamin send Styles and Nakamura to the outside, and Gable grabs a microphone.

Chad Gable: WE ARE DONE! We keep getting pushed to the back of the line no matter where we are at. We won two nights ago at WrestleMania, and were promised a Championship match against the Bludgeon Brothers, but now that the Authors of Pain are here they bypass us for the Championships? No, man. It does not work that way!

Shelton Benjamin: That's right! We are done, and we are both going for the WWE Championship now! We are going to win every title on this damn show, and there is nothing anyone can say or do about it!

UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
Bobby Roode (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler
The bell rings, and Ziggler immediately takes Roode down with some right hands. Roode quickly pops up and clotheslines him down. Ziggler tries to leave the ring, but Roode grabs the ankle. Ziggler kicks him away and gets out of the ring, but Roode follows. Ziggler powers him into the LED apron and dropkicks him on the floor.

- Commercial Break -

We come back from the break to see Roode fight back, but Ziggler applies a sleeper hold. Roode tries to counter out, but Ziggler flips through. Roode counters a dropkick into a slingshot into the corner. Roode punches him back and hits a flying forearm and a pair of clotheslines. Roode sends him into the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Ziggler hits the ropes, but Roode slams him down for a near fall. Roode clotheslines him in the corner, goes to the second rope, and jumps over Ziggler. Ziggler rolls him up with the tights for a near fall. Roode goes for a Glorious DDT, but Ziggler gets out. Kevin Owens from behind lays waste to Ziggler, and now Roode comes for Owens, but is met with a knee to the midsection and a Pop-Up Powerbomb! Ziggler is getting up, and is met with a huge Super Kick!

You guys had his back from day one here, but over time you guys stopped believing in Sami. The back stopped believing in Sami. I unfortunately starting believing in him again just too late in time. Maybe...maybe it is my time to go too. I will go back to the indies with him, and we will take over this world, and it is all on you people, and Vince McMahon! Vince...you wanted this? You got it, bub. I QUIT!

Good set of shows. Interesting show debuts and newcomers for sure.

I will say that I was a bit disappointed that NXT wasn't fully typed up, especially since it is now its own major show. This week started off hot for NXT with this huge announcement about it being given to Triple H and then the big signings and then it kind of ended with a fizzle with only results.

I think you missed a huge opportunity here with this decision.
