    Match Day Four: Rochdale (Away)

Sunderland were able to get a point on the road on Saturday. After leading for a majority of the match, the Black Cats gave up a goal in the 76th minute and couldn't find a winner afterwards. Sunderland have struggled against the 4-2-3-1 formation in the last two games. Manager Jack Ross needs to find an answer before opponents exploit the club.

Match Day Seven: Burton Albion (Home)

              Match Highlights

Sunderland managed to pull out a 1-0 win over Burton on Saturday. The Black Cats struggled to break down the Burton defense that played with 10 behind the ball. Jack Ross made the switch to a 4-4-2 and that proved to be the difference.
