    GORE! GORE! GORE!

Rhyno is one of my favorites, especially growing up. I am very happy to see him showing up in this!

I am pumped to see where the Dudley's go from here. Wonder if Spike shows up? Is he still on SmackDown?

Kurt Angle is a monster. I'm excited for his Kash matchup.

3/3. You're killing it! So happy to have you back!

Much appreciated Bard. Can you believe Rhyno was only 30 years old at this time? Once I found that out he was totally a must get for this very old ECW roster.

Yes! I can't believe that the WWE basically wasted him...he is only in his early 40's now. Not an old guy at all!

ECW PPV Special "Anarchy Rulz" Announced

ECW GM Paul Heyman has announced an ECW only PPV show coming July 28th. The event will be called "Anarchy Rulz". It will run from a smaller venue than usual WWE shows and be modestly priced at $39.99. This decision comes after ECW withdrew from RAW/Smackdown joint PPV events. More ECW PPV specials will certainly pop up as time goes on.

Expect the build to the event to ramp up in the coming weeks. With the re-emergence of Rhyno and The Dudley Boyz, the rise of Kurt Angle, the championship reign of RVD continuing, and the hardcore antics of the ECW originals, there's a lot to sink your teeth into with this new era of Extreme Championship Wrestling.

Meanwhile look forward to the July 4th edition of ECW on Sci Fi where Kid Kash looks to challenge the seemingly untouchable wrestling machine, Kurt Angle.

The Tribe of Extreme! - WWE ECW Universe Mode

            On Sci Fi

            JULY 4th, 2006

A recap of last weeks show plays, mainly focused on Rob Van Dam's successful title defense against Sabu, and the re-emergence of Rhyno which culminated with a Gore on RVD the end of the show.

The shows intro plays to "Bodies" by Drowning Pool. We're welcomed to the arena by Joey Styles and Tazz. They inform us that kicking off the show will be the tag match made by Paul Heyman last week between The Dudley Boyz and The Mexicools (Super Crazy & Psicosis). They also plug the recently announced “Anarchy Rulz” PPV event on July 28th.

Kurt Angle cuts a promo from a silent room. In it he says he's been

absolutely dominant since the rebirth of ECW, a complete wrestling machine. So far, none of these so called "ECW originals" have lasted even 3 minutes in the ring with him. In tonights main event things will be no different with Kid Kash, as the wrestling machine runs straight through him on his way to the ultimate prize, the ECW Championship.

The Dudley Boyz vs. Super Crazy & Psicosis

An even tag match that sees Crazy & Psicosis work a fast paced style and The Dudley Boyz working hard to slow them down and ruin the crowds fun. In the end they manage to hit 3D on Psicosis and get the victory.

Winners: The Dudley Boyz in 12:30

The Dudley Boyz cut a promo on London & Kendrick and challenge them to a rematch next week. Bubba claims that this time, they won’t get so lucky.

Sandman empty room promo. He says that he loves to drink beer, chase women, and beat people up. He says Hardcore Holly has been a pain in his *** preventing him from doing what he loves, so he’s challenging him to a match at Anarchy Rulz so he can put an end to this. Hardcore Holly enters the shot and jumps Sandman from behind, leaving him laid out.

Sabu is shown backstage watching back last weeks main event. He starts throwing a fit and tossing things around.

            Tommy Dreamer vs. Danny Doring

Some back and forth hardcore action sees chairs and kendo sticks swung both ways, but eventually Dreamer is able to put Doring through a table with a Dreamer Driver and win it.

            Winner: Tommy Dreamer in 5:19

Dreamer grabs a mic as he catches his breath. For the third week in a row, Dreamer calls out the Big Show! Once again, Big Show comes down to the ring.

Dreamer says that Big Show has been earning his respect more each and every week. He's one of the most impressive athletes he's ever seen in his life, but he still questions whether or not he has the heart or the passion to make it here in ECW. Dreamer asks Big Show if the roles were reversed, and he was the one standing toe to toe with a man who dwarfs him, would he do this...?

Dreamer slaps Big Show in the face. Show responds with a massive overhand chop to the chest that paralyzes Dreamer. He picks Dreamer up by the throat and goes to chokeslam him, but Dreamer hits a low blow! He picks up a chair and cracks Big Show in the head, and another one! He goes for a Dreamer DDT onto the chair, but Show pushes him off and rolls out of the ring.

Show is still shaking off the chair shots as he retreats to the back and Dreamer poses. The crowd chants ECW, and the show goes to commercial.

Kurt Angle is shown putting his mouthguard in and walking towards Gorilla for his upcoming match. He passes by a group of ECW originals including Balls Mahoney, Stevie Richards, Blue Meanie, and Roadkill. Angle stops in his tracks. He starts screaming at the ECW originals and accusing them of looking at him sideways. He says that ever since he got here in ECW all he’s done is destroy all the ECW originals. He tells them to watch what he does to Kid Kash

A promo plays from a new talent coming soon to ECW...

            (it’s CM Punks debut promo)

            Kurt Angle vs. Kid Kash

The bell rings and Angle runs towards Kash. He hits some belly to belly suplexes. On the third one Kash rolls out of the ring, and Angle intensely screams towards the audience. He turns around and Kash hits him in the gut with a sledgehammer! Kash hits him again and the goes for a cover but its only a two count. Angle stands up and gets clotheslined over the top rope to the outside of the ring.

Kash keeps on Angle on the outside with some right hands. He hits a dropkick that sends Angle into the steel steps, then sends him back into the ring. Cover, near fall on Angle.

Angle eventually takes control in the match again, and the two men go back and forth for a while. The crowd is extremely into it. Kash hits a massive superplex on Angle. Angle kicks out. Angle hits three consecutive german suplexes. He stalks Kash and hits an Angle Slam.

            Winner: Kurt Angle in 09:36

Angle catches his breath after a match that ended up being way more competitive than he expected. He celebrates and looks down at Kid Kash, clearly very impressed with the fight he just gave him.

Rob Van Dam comes down to the ring holding the ECW Championship. He says he's not gonna waste any time. Last week Rhyno decided to jump him after their match, now he's calling that son of a b*tch out to meet him face to face.

Rhynos music hits and he slowly saunters down to the ring. Rhyno gets in the champs face. He cuts a promo about how good it feels to be back home in ECW. He calls Rob Van Dam stupid if he’s mad about what he did last week, especially since he specifically said the winner of the the main event would have a big target right on their chest.

Van Dam says he’s actually happy that Rhyno came back to ECW, because he’s just another name for him to beat as he continues his historic reign as the ECW world -

Van Dam is cut off by Sabu who blindsides Rhyno, sending him flying out of the ring. Sabu looks towards Van Dam, and Van Dam gives him a “he’s all yours” type of gesture. Sabu points at Van Dam as if to say "I want you too" but then goes after Rhyno. Sabu and Rhyno brawl through the crowd and all the way to the back .

We get an onscreen with Joey Styles and Tazz who are buzzing about the show. They announce that they’ve just received word that next week's main event will be Sabu vs. Rhyno!

Big main event next week! I'm excited for Sabu and Rhyno!

The Big Show and Dreamer angle is awesome.

Kid Cash really brought it to Angle which was good development for Cash.

                  On Sci Fi

                  JULY 11th, 2006

A recap of last weeks show plays. It mainly showcases the events of the closing segment where Rhyno and RVD were face to face in the ring, and Sabu attacked Rhyno resulting in them brawling to the back.

The shows intro plays to "Bodies" by Drowning Pool. We're welcomed to the arena by Joey Styles and Tazz. They remind us of tonights main event where Rhyno makes his in ring return against Sabu.
Rhyno cuts a promo from a silent room. He says that the reason he came back was to win the ECW championship, and his sights were 100% set on Rob Van Dam. But last week Sabu had to go sticking his giant nose where it didn’t belong. Rhyno says tonight, he’s gonna make Sabu pay when he gores his body in half and leaves him in a puddle of his own blood.
The Big Show vs. Little Guido (w/ Tony Mamaluke)

Big Show takes his time with the much smaller opponent as he tosses him around the ring and hits a few bodyslams. The commentary sells it as a message to Tommy Dreamer. He hits a choke slam to end it.

Winner: The Big Show in 2:00

Big Show goes to continue his attack on Little Guido after the match. Tony Mamaluke runs in and throws a few ineffective punches. Show shakes them off and chokeslams him.

Tommy Dreamers music hits and he comes down to the ring wielding a trash can lid. Dreamer dodges a clothesline from Show and wallops him in the head with the lid. He hits him a two more times, but on the fourth shot Show punches the lid out of Dreamers hand. Dreamer scurries out of the ring, leaving Show frustrated and angry as Dreamer retreats up the ramp with a huge smile on his face. Show screams in frustration as a drop of blood trickles down his forehead. Dreamer points to his own head to signify that he’s outsmarted the giant.
Backstage Sandman is wielding a kendo stick and looking for Hardcore Holly. He asks a few backstage personnel. One man who is on the phone tells Sandman to wait a minute. As soon as the man realizes that he’s talking to the Sandman and goes to apologize, he receives a kendo stick to the head.
Kid Kash is in the locker room with Balls Mahoney and a few other ECW originals. Kash is going on and on about how frustrated he is about his match with Kurt Angle last week. He took Angle to the limit, but he couldn’t get the job done. Mahoney says that he’s tired of all the crap that Angle has been talking about the ECW originals, and he’s gonna challenge him to a match next week. Kash gets angry at Mahoney. He calls him an idiot and tells him he doesn’t have a damn clue what it’s like getting in the ring with Kurt Angle.

Kash storms off, but on the way out when he goes to grab his gear bag a black bird of some sort flies out of it, startling him and everyone else in the locker room.
A promo airs showing Shannon Moore decked out in crazy punk rocker gear with a massive mohawk and face paint. In the bottom left it says “Shannon Moore is coming!”
                  Justin Credible vs. Danny Doring

A typical hardcore matchup between two ECW originals. Credible wins with an elbow drop from the top rope while holding a steel chair.

                  Winner: Justin Credible in 5:37

Sandman is still looking for Hardcore Holly. He storms into Heymans office and asks where he is. Heyman says that Holly isn’t in the arena tonight. Sandman is about to start breaking things, but Heyman calms him down by saying that he was on the phone with Holly earlier in the week, and Holly has accepted his challenge for Anarchy Rulz. Sandman nods his head and walks off.

Balls Mahoney walks in after Sandman. He tells Heyman that he also has some unfinished business with Hardcore Holly, but before he gets to that he wants Kurt Angle next week. Heyman says he’s got his match, but he better understand what he’s getting himself into.
London & Kendrick are jumped from behind the The Dudleys as they make their entrance. The Dudleys deliver a beatdown before their match.
The Dudley Boyz vs. London & Kendrick

The Dudleys take advantage of their pre match beatdown. London & Kendrick start to mount a comeback, but they’re cut off before it really gets going. London eats a 3D and The Dudleys take it. These teams are now 1-1.

Winner: The Dudley Boyz in 05:35

We return from a commercial break to see London & Kendrick fired up in Heymans office. They’re demanding a third match against the Dudley Boyz. Heyman says that’s exactly the type of fire he wanted to see from them. He announces that match three of this rivalry is gonna take place on July 28th at Anarchy Rulz. It’ll be Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley… for the newly reinstated ECW Tag Team Championships!
The second CM Punk promo airs. In it, he talks about his tattoos and how they all tell a story. One days “drug free” one says “honor” and one signifies the war against the system. Punk says he’s not just some kid looking for a thrill, he’s an extremely disciplined athlete looking to compete with the best, and his name is “CM Punk”.
Joey Styles and Tazz welcome their special guest commentator for the main event, ECW Champion Rob Van Dam.
                  Sabu vs. Rhyno

The bell rings and both men rush each other and start exchanging punches. Rhyno works Sabu to the ropes and then clotheslines him over. Both men go tumbling to the outside. The two men brawl around the outside.

Rhyno hits a massive Gore through the barricade!

                  Spoiler

The commentators, fans, and RVD all lose it.

The fighting continues both in and out of the ring. Weapons are introduced Sabu dodges a Gore through a table propped up in the corner and Rhyno ends up going through it. This however isn't enough for a 3 count.

The fight goes to the commentators table. Sabu sets up Rhyno on the table, climbs a ladder, and hits a massive dive off the ladder through the table, and through Rhyno!

The ref can't get any response out of the two competitors. He throw up the X and emts rush out.

                  Winner: No Contest at 14:30

Sabu and Rhyno are both placed on stretchers and taken to the back by refs and EMTs. Rob Van Dam complains that he had a water bottle on the announcers table earlier and he can't find it. The show goes off the air with Joey Styles and Tazz thanking us for tuning in, and promoting Balls Mahoney vs. Kurt Angle next week, as well as the contract signing between The Dudley Boyz and London & Kendrick for their match for the newly reinstated ECW tag team championships at Anarchy Rulz.

No Angle? Bummer. He'll kill Mahoney next week!

Holly and Sandman will be a fight.

                    ECW tag titles! Hell yeah!

Report: Vince McMahon Unhappy With ECW Roster
                        by Will Bardow

The reboot of ECW has largely been deemed as a success by both fans and members of the company, but reports have been leaking from sources within WWE that one man, the most important man, is unsatisfied with the show. That man of course is the Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon.

According to Dave Meltzer, Vince is generally ok with the shows performance so far, but he's unhappy with the current roster as a whole. Vince feels that the ECW roster is too thin, and he doesn't see any value in most of the ECW originals that make up the roster. Reports say that Paul Heyman and Vince have been in multiple shouting matches with Heyman trying to talk Vince out of having Raw and Smackdown stars appear on ECW TV to pop ratings. So far Heyman has been able to keep Vince from leaking Raw and Smackdown programming on to ECW.

Heyman instead wants to focus on building an independent third brand on the shoulders of names like The Dudley Boyz, Rhyno, Sabu, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, The Big Show, and using those established stars to build for the future. Heyman has been trying to convince Vince to look towards independent promotions and TNA Wrestling for future stars that they can snatch up, but Vince is apparently unconvinced that there's value to be found there. Meltzer speculated that the performance of CM Punk, who they've started running promo videos for on ECW TV, could determine who wins the tug of war between Vince and Heyman in terms of talent acquisition philosophy.

2nd to last show before Anarchy Rulz

                            JULY 18th, 2006

A recap plays showing the events of last weeks main event where Sabu jumped off a ladder and onto Rhyno through the announcers desk.

We’re welcomed to the arena by Tazz and Joey Styles. They hype up tonights contract signing for the ECW Tag Team Championship match at Anarchy Rulz, as well as the match between Balls Mahoney and Kurt Angle. They inform us that Sabu and Rhyno weren’t able to make it tonight.
Backstage a group of ECW originals (Balls Mahoney, Danny Doring, Roadkill, The FBI) are hanging around and talking. Kurt Angle is walking down the highway, and he locks eyes with Balls Mahoney. The rest of the ECW originals walk off, clearly understanding that this is between Mahoney and Angle.

Angle asks Mahoney if he’s crazy or stupid. Mahoney goes to answer, but Angle cuts him off and says that he’s clearly both. Angle says he’ll do Mahoney a favor. Mahoney doesn’t have to pin or submit him tonight. If he can last 10 minutes in the ring with Kurt Angle he wins.

Mahoney says he won’t need 5 minutes. Angle laughs as Mahoney walks off.
A Shannon Moore vignette similar to last weeks plays. It shows him decked out with facepaint and a giant Mohawk while punk rock music plays in the background. In the bottom left it reads “Shannon Moore is coming!”
Hardcore Holly makes his entrance for our opening match, and he’s rolling a tire down to the ring. He grabs a mic and explains that the tire belongs to Sandman. Holly says that he found Sandman bar hopping about an hour ago, and so he removed the tires from his truck. Holly says that by the time Sandman gets to the arena tonight, he’ll be long gone, so for any fans who want to see Sandman get his hands on him, too bad.

Out comes his opponent for the night, Kid Kash.
                            Hardcore Holly vs. Kid Kash

Good back and forth opener. Nothing flashy as both men throw a lot of strikes and basic suplexes, but it’s everything it needs to be. Eventually Holly catches Kash with a jab to the throat, then rolls him up. Holly puts his feet up on the ropes for leverage and steals it.

                            Winner: Hardcore Holly in 7:03

Holly celebrates and retreats to the back with Sandman’s tire. Kash argues with the ref and tries to figure out what just happened, and the show goes to break.
Kid Kash is backstage throwing a fit in the locker room after his loss. He topples down a shelf holding all of his stuff, but then looks down at the mess with a confused facial expression. He picks up an 8x10, and the camera pans around to show that it’s a picture of black bird of some sort, similar to the one that flew out of Kash’s bag last week. Kash clearly is unsure of where the picture came from, and he tosses it on the floor.
Rob Van Dam cuts a promo backstage on Sabu and Rhyno. He says that he see's exactly where things are going, and being the fighting champion that he is he's not gonna waste anyone's time. At Anarchy Rulz he's putting up the ECW Championship against Rhyno and Sabu in a triple threat match!
                            Stevie Richards vs. Justin Credible

Fairly straightforward ECW match. A few chair shots thrown by both men, and a super kick by Credible to win it.

                            Winner: Justin Credible in 4:57

The Sandman is shown entering Paul Heymans office clearly irate. He asks where Hardcore Holly is, but Heyman informs him that he left. Heyman asks Sandman if he realizes that he missed the dark match he was supposed to be in earlier. Sandman tells Heyman that Holly made him late to the show. He tells Heyman to make his match with Holly at Extreme Rules a steel cage match so he can’t pull any running crap like he did tonight. Heyman obliges.
Backstage are a group of ECW originals huddled up to watch the match between Mahoney and Angle. Among them is Tommy Dreamer. All of the sudden a giant man runs in and destroys the TV! It’s The Big Show!

Show grabs Dreamer and tosses him across the room. Dreamer grabs a baseball bat from the floor and swings it, but Show catches it. He picks up Dreamer and choke slams him onto the TV. Show warns Dreamer to stay the hell out of his business. The ECW originals re emerge and mourn their broken TV as Dreamer writhes in pain.
The third CM Punk promo plays. In it he talks about his various martial arts disciplines, and above all the most important discipline, wrestling.

10 Minute Challenge - Kurt Angle vs. Balls Mahoney

The bell rings. Angle steps up to Mahoney and the two go face to face, LOW BLOW by Mahoney! Mahoney grabs a steel chair and starts beating down Angle, and the crowd is behind him.

Mahoney has Angle down. He goes outside and starts tossing weapons into the ring. Trash cans, steel chairs, kendo sticks. Mahoney re enters the ring and whacks Angle over the head with a trash can. Cover, but only a long one count. Mahoney goes up to the top rope for a dive, but Angle pops up to his feet and jumps up for a super belly to belly!

A pissed off Kurt Angle starts working over Mahoney with mat style wrestling. He slaps Mahoney around in the back of the head. Angle starts clearing out the ring of weapons as he doesn’t need them, but as he goes to throw a trash can to the outside, LOW BLOW!

Mahoney starts to ground and pound Kurt Angle. He goes to the outside to look under the ring for more toys. Mahoney emerges with thumb tacks! Mahoney enters the ring and empties out the bag of tacks in the middle of the ring. Mahoney goes to bodyslam Angle onto the tacks, but Angle hooks Mahoney’s leg and locks in the Ankle Lock! Mahoney is struggling. He reaches for a handful of tacks, turns around and tosses them up into Angle’s eyes! Ball Breaker onto the tacks by Mahoney! The crowd is going crazy. Cover, two count!

Mahoney goes to the middle rope. He leaps for an elbow drop onto Angle, but Angle moves, and Mahoney lands right on the tacks. Angle jumps on Mahoney and locks in a rear naked choke. Mahoney has to tap.

                            Winner: Kurt Angle in 8:02

Angle doesn’t want to let go of the choke. It takes a good 10 seconds for the ref to finally pry him off. The ref raises a bloodied Angle’s arm in victory. Another ECW original put down by Kurt Angle. Angle goes to continue his beatdown on Mahoney, but out come The FBI, The BWO, Danny Doring, and Roadkill. The group of ECW originals run Angle off with weapons in hand. The show goes to commerical
Paul Heyman is in the ring which is decked out for a contract signing. In the middle of the ring is a table with the contract as well as two belts covered by a black sheet. He introduces the two tag teams, London & Kendrick and The Dudley Boyz.

The two teams sit across from each other at the table. Heyman lets the two teams know that he’s so excited about this historic match that will take place at July 28th at Anarchy Rulz. He removes the tarp and reveals what they’ll be fighting for.

Bubba grabs a mic and starts cutting a scorching promo on London & Kendrick. He calls them "two little prissy princesses." He says that last week he proved that they'll never make it in ECW because they're too damn soft. He says that they're gonna prove it again at Anarchy Rulz when they put their asses down to become the ECW World Tag Team Champions.

Kendrick snatches the mic out of Bubba Ray's hand. He tells Bubba that if he wants to see some fire, they'll show them some fire. London & Kendrick jump the table and attack The Dudleys. London dropkicks D-Von out of the ring. Kendrick sets up Bubba Ray on the table and goes up top for a dive. D-Von runs back in and grabs Bubba and pulls him off the table. The two flee as the crowd boos, and London & Kendrick invite them back into the ring.
We go to Joey Styles and Tazz. They boast about how awesome the show was and how awesome ECW has been. They announce a couple huge matches for next week, including The Dudley Boyz teaming up with Rhyno to take on Sabu and London & Kendrick. They also announce that the ECW Champion Rob Van Dam will be in singles action.

                              Man, what a crazy show!

Hated Kash losing to Holly, but it was a cheap wine. I THINK I know whats going to happen next, and I am excited for it!

The tag titles looks phenomenal, and the Dudley's will wear them proud! Lol.

Big Show is a bully, that was fun.

Angle and Mahoney had probably your most hardcore match yet, I'd say? Pretty awesome stuff there!

I tried to make it not so obvious, but yeah I'd bet you figured it out!

Fair prediction, we'll see what happens. I'm gonna let the game decide who wins the tag titles.

Big Show vs. Dreamer is fun. I have a twist in mind that I may or may not end up going with.

Yeah Angle vs. Mahoney was definitely was the most violent match yet, also my most detailed so far because it would really miss something if I didn't explain what actually happened.
