February 10, 2020 (Day 3) - Heading into the final match day to be play in the qualifying rounds of the mixed doubles curling tournament, every nation except for Finland has a realistic chance to make it to the medal round.
China bolted themselves to the top of the standings with a 2-0 record Saturday, defeating the USA and Finland.
Switzerland came into Saturday atop the standings undefeated but now head into Sunday (final day of qualifying round) reeling from a 2 defeat day (losses to Canada and South Korea). The parody in this competition seems to be unparalleled.
Other notable moments from Saturday's action include South Korea taking down OAR/Russia and the Swiss, improving their record to 3-3.
An upset alert to be noted was OAR/Russia which took down Canada in the 6th round of matches which may prove costly to the Canadians if they are defeated again Sunday.
With 7/8 nations within a game of the top of the standings Sunday is shaping up to be drama filled.
