Re: NXT Generation | Re-imagining the Beginning

    Awesome set of shows.

Leo Kruger (the original Bray Wyatt cult character)

I'm very intrigued by what exactly Wyatt's character is in this fed, because with Kruger there you can't really take his gimmick.

Disappointed Bateman defeated Breeze. As Bateman I never saw much from him and Breeze had it, but this is also early in Breeze's career.

The Big E Langston promo was great.

    I'm really digging this.

I don't think Kruger/Wyatt should be a problem. Kruger was a South African mercenary/bounty hunter while Wyatt was a cult leader from Louisiana.

I'm also a huge fan of this one, enjoy seeing some guys who never got a real shot in the E get a chance here. I agree on Kruger and Wyatt being different enough that they can still be themselves, and I'm loving the "Hollywood" Reigns character, a direction I thought they should have taken him much like his cousin Dwayne before him.

Re: NXT Generation | Re-imagining the Beginning

          Hey y'all!

Just that time of the year, and now with the word from the school district I'm going to be starting back up with school work!

I just switched schools, and I am teaching freshman level students, so I have to do freshman orientation! (Yuck!) I am making this update, and will literally copy and paste it to the other thread.

Lately I have been able to post everyday to every other day, but it's definitely going to change, lol. I am planning on one or MAYBE two days a week to put out one show of each since my gaming time is about to go way down.

So like on a Thursday I have time, I'll get out a WCW Nitro for my other thread and one NXT. Then next Tuesday I have time, I'll do Monday Night Raw and one NXT.

Just want to be upfront, and no, I'm not quitting these because I really do enjoy them so much!

          Thanks all!

            NXT
            January 4th, 2012

            Opening

Matt Striker: Hello everyone, and thank you for coming and viewing NXT! Things are going to be looking different around here as we are rebranding into just NXT, and are now here at Full-Sail University full-time! I am Matt Striker, and my commentating partner is the deputy commissioner, William Regal!

William Regal: Yes, it is very lovely to be on the stand with you, Matt. Things are indeed going to be looking different around here, and this is the first show of ours in 2012. Now, tonight we are going to be seeing some very interesting developments. For one, we are going to finally see the in-ring debut of the one and only, Roman Reigns.

Matt Striker: We also have an actioned packed main event that pits Kaval and Corey Graves against each other! But, I think most intriguing is the debut of Bray Wyatt, and this is up next!

            Singles Match
            Bray Wyatt vs. Lucky Cannon

Bray is laughing in the corner as Lucky decides he wants some action, and charges Wyatt! Bray dodges and hits some lethal uppercuts onto Cannon. Wyatt then gets Cannon to run the ropes and absolutely DEMOLISHES Cannon with a running cross-body. Bray picks up Cannon and delivers a Uranague. Bray is stalking Cannon from the corner, and gets impatient as Cannon is trying to get up, and puts him into what he calls, Sister Abigail! 3:58
            Spoiler

Bray Wyatt: You see...nobody takes an outcast like me seriously for some reason. When in reality, I am the monster that is inside of your dreams. I am the demon that follows you every single day in any direction you go. I AM...Bray Wyatt. Follow the buzzards.

            Segment

We get a quick segment of Paige trying to find Natalya earlier in the day, but Paige gets blindsided! By Natalya! Natalya challenges Paige to a match next week. 4:11

            Tag Team Match
The Ascension vs. Tyson Kidd & DH Smith

Kidd and Smith work a very technical tag game onto Cameron to begin this match. Smith hits a snap suplex, tags in Kidd who hits a springboard leg drop for a two count. Kidd and Smith continue to work over Cameron, until Kidd makes a mistake and Kenneth hits a back body drop and hits Smith off the apron. Cameron tags in Connor, and they hit the Fall of Man onto Kidd! This ended in a hurry! 6:43
            Spoiler

We get a video package for Big E Langston

            Singles Match
            Bo Dallas vs. JTG

JTG tries to mock Dallas to begin the match, but Dallas realizes that JTG is making fun of him and takes him down with a headlock. JTG is able to get to the ropes and have the referee moves Bo off of him. JTG works some strikes onto Dallas, and connects with a solid neckbreaker for a one count. JTG goes up top and tries for a cross-body, but Bo counters into the Bo-Plex! 4:01
            Spoiler

            Singles Match
            Roman Reigns vs. Yoshi Tatsu

This is the highly anticipated in-ring debut of Roman Reigns. Yoshi is being careful with Reigns, who has still not moved out of his corner yet. Yoshi is trying to close the gap, and goes for a headlock, but is thrown straight to the ground! Reigns is all over Yoshi now! MASSIVE strikes to Yoshi who is now into the corner, and Reigns grabs Yoshi and launches him across the ring! Reigns hits the ropes and delivers a massive Spear! It does not look like Roman is done yet? Roman picks up Yoshi and hits a nasty Powerbomb, looking like a Diesel Jacknife! 4:33
            Spoiler

            Singles Match
            Kaval vs. Corey Graves

Kaval and Graves begin with a shoulder-collar lock-up. Kaval breaks it up, and Graves slaps Kaval! Kaval slaps Graves back, and we have a slap off! Kaval then stomps on the right foot of Graves, and arm-drags him causing Corey to bail to the outside. Graves walks around the outside before re-entering the ring. They lock-up again, and this time Graves powers down Kaval and tries to go for Lucky-13 Submission! Kaval is able to get to the ropes, and as the referee breaks the hold, Kaval now bails to the outside. Graves is in pursuit as Kaval is being slow to get back in, and chases him
back in the ring, but Kaval was toying with him, and delivers a hard hitting basement dropkick. Two count. Kaval throws down some lethal ground and pound onto Graves, and the referee breaks that up. Kaval then puts Corey into a single-leg Boston crab. Graves is in deep pain, but after some crawling he gets to the ropes! Kaval is picking up Graves, but Corey counters and lands a Samoan drop! Both men are down. Graves is up to his feet first and lands some stomps onto Kaval before heading up the turnbuckle. Kaval counters the air strike with a dropkick! It takes a moment, but Kaval gets the cover, and another two count! Kaval now heads up top and hits a Frog-Splash! Two count! Kaval is in disbelief! Kaval is landing some more heavy ground and pound before the referee breaks it up, but with the referee trying to get Kaval away, Graves rakes his eyes! Corey nails Kaval with a DDT, and gets a two count for his trouble. Lucky-13! Graves has it in! Kaval is in pain and is trying to get to the ropes, they are looking farther and farther away!...HE MAKES IT! Rope break. The damage could be done to the legs of Kaval. Graves realizes this and goes after them. Graves locks in the Figure-Four leg-lock! Kaval reverses it into the Indian Death-Lock! Graves is forced to release the hold. Graves comes charging into Kaval who catches him with a chop, uppercut, leaping clothesline combo! Kaval is hitting his legs hoping they don't fail him..****NNING SHOOTING STAR PRESS! ONE-TWO-GRAVES KICKS OUT! Both men are just down on the ground at this point. Kaval is trying to get to his feet, but Graves cuts off the legs of Kaval with a shoulder tackle!
