I just read the rivals article and just about jizzed my pants.

He said he wants to make a decision this summer, and Auburn is his last trip. And he mentioned building relationships with coaches more than once.

Looks like we are in great shape with him.

And it looks like we will get Jessel Curry, that would be huge. His dad was an NFL linebacker and he is still growing. He's going to grow into a huge linebacker.

I'm just happy they're even looking at Auburn. Thank goodness Tubs is gone.

Not impossible, but highly highly improbable.

"Auburn is No. 1," Dyer said. "They've actually been No. 1 for a while. Coach Malzahn and Coach Luper are two coaches I trust and respect. They can make it happen for me."

Record has very little to do with it.

Bammer sucked monkey balls and got the top ranked class.

Notre Dame has stunk for years and keeps racking up Top 10 classes.

Besides....we have one hell of a staff. Curtis Luper, Trooper Taylor, and Tommy Thigpen have all been heralded by publications as top notch, big time recruiters.

                    It's showing.

I think we definitely get Seastrunk...and possibly one of either Dyer or Lattimore.

I'm sure Dyer is making it known how much he likes Auburn after seeing all of the articles after Big Cat Weekend with both Lattimore and Seastrunk gushing over Auburn.

It's a GREAT problem to have...which 5 star all world tailback commits.... woo hoo!

From all accounts, everyone except for the head coach was a great hire. When fans of the school of 6 coaches you hire don't say "he's replaceable", it's typically a good thing.

Plus the 5-7 lead to a severe lack of depth. Our 2007 and 2008 classes were terrible (2007 after you factor in half the kids not getting to school) and 2009 was hardly exceptional. Auburn hasn't been exceptional, but as far as any kid cares, there have only been about 6 programs recently that have been hands down better (excluding last year obviously).

We have little talent, no depth, and good recruiters.

Rumor has it William Gholston will commit to MSU. This coming right after the Spartans landed CB Mylan Hicks.

EDIT: Gholston officially committed to the Spartans.

Gholston has always been a Spartan lean. So it will come as no surprise if he lands there.

Not "will", "has." Did it at midnight. Robert Bolden and C.J. Olaniyan rumored to be close behind.

Great news for the Spartans. Gholston is the top rated player in the state and 47th overall. Dantonio is doing a nice job of recruiting so far.
