Top recruit LB Khairi Fortt (#2 OLB) will commit Penn State (barring a major turn of events) this afternoon in his 1:15pm press conference. Congrats PSU beating out the Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Tennessee and USCs of the recruiting nation, dude is expected to be a beast!

"I picked Penn State because I thought it was a great institution and program where I could mature as a man and role model," Fortt said. "All of the other colleges had wonderful aspects but Penn State had the 'IT' factor and full package, which set them apart from any other school for me."

"They say in Happy Valley that if God wasn't a Penn State, why is the sky blue and white?" said Fortt. "Who am I to argue with God?"

After narrowing his list to UCLA and Stanford, Oaks Christian (CA) 4* RB Malcolm Jones (6'1, 210) committed to UCLA. His brother Marshall plays for USC. Cal, USC, LSU, Notre Dame and Oklahoma where a few of Jones' other offers. Good get for UCLA and fans as it sounds like this kid has his head on straight.

Remember former 4* DT Charles Deas, once committed to LSU and Auburn? Looks like he may finally be ready to get into college and is FSU bound.

Geesh, at this point he's gotta be around Chris Weinke's age.

Texas 4* and Rivals 100 receiver goes public with commitment to Tide.


Looks like a slot guy maybe, and there have been rumblings that Corey Grant may be wavering. Regardless, he's a nice pick up. Star/AJ/Sims will have a cupboard full of talent to toss the ball to.

This coaching staff never ceases to amaze me. A top WR from Texas that both LSU and OU wanted plus Florida offered as well...niiiiiice.

I also wouldn't trust what the guys at the Fort are saying, especially in one specific case.
