    If by raping you mean OU beating Miami 51-13 just two seasons ago then you are correct.

    Yep, after playing Florida last year, OU will be scared.

        No. OU WILL walk into Miami Stadium and beat the hell out of them. It's already been decided. There is no way that Miami will win, unless, of course, all the thugs on the team pull shanks out of their socks and stab the OU players.

          Hey...you want us to hand you the Sears Trophy while we are at it?

            Re: Win/Loss prediction for your team

            Texas will be a better team than last season, their OOC schedule is easy, and they have Will Muschamp.

            I dont know how being a better team will translate to their record, but I would be surprised if they lost more than one game. They might lose one to either OU or @ Okie State on Halloween, but they could also go undefeated

              IMO Texas will go undefeated and win the MNC.

              But.

              If we lost to 0U, and a bowl game I wouldn't be shocked.

              So much can happen. I mean what if Colt breaks his ACL in the first game? Hell what if Sam Bradford breaks his? Or Tebow experiences The Rapture?

              But all things the same, I think Texas will win it all..

                Earlier in this thread I said OU might lose to Miami. However, after you started spouting non-sense and going off into different directions, see bringing up Michigan for no reason, I decide to show that the "U" on the helmet doesn't mean jack now. OU showed that in 2007.

                The irony here is that a Clemson fan is talking smack. Did you guys even goto a bowl game last year?

                      there's the quote button for you bucko. yes clemson did go to a bowl game last year on jan. 1st. and maybe the sooners will find out soon enough that old habits can be re-found in losing to "the u". I have seen better OU teams than the current one take losses to teams they shouldn't lose to. At the end of the day you need to remember, OU plays in the Big 12 where defense is AWOL and Offense is stopped by teams who play good defense. Even a mediocre Miami team hung with Florida last year for 3 qtrs +. Bob Stoops and his arrogance have bitten Oklahoma on so many occasions it's beginning to stack up quite a bit. Go ahead and believe that all you need to do is get off the plane. Maybe they will re-educate the Sooners on what "the U" stands for

                        Did your Clemson Tigers lose to the 6th best team in the Big 12? The same Big 12 you went on to diss? LMAO.

                        Ou was tied with Florida in the 4th quarter. Miami lost to Florida 26-3. Do you really think Miami had any kind of shot in that game?

                        Are you a Miami fan or do you just not know how to read? Refer back to page 2 of this thread where I said Miami was a fringe top 25 team and would be a good test for OU. That being said, OU's talent level is significantly better then Thug U and the Sooners should win that game.

                                It's really difficult to go undefeated and it also takes luck. The odds are stacked against OU as far as an undefeated season goes. I'll actually explain to you why OU won't go undefeated.

                                Of OU's seven toughest games, only one is in Norman.

                                @Miami
                                @Nebraska
                                @Kansas
                                @Texas Tech
                                Texas (Dallas)
                                BYU (Arlington)

                                Nebraska and Kansas will be top 25 teams and Miami could very well be a top 25 team. Texas is a top 5 team and a lot of people project BYU to be ranked around 15 or so. Texas Tech won't be as good but a 8-4 Texas Tech team beat OU in 2007.

                                I think OU has a good shot at losing to Miami or on the road at Kansas. OU plays KU the week after the Texas game and could be licking their wounds a little bit. Last year when OU played Kansas the week after OU/Texas, Kansas lit up OU in Norman. KU has one of the best WR units in the nation, a gritty QB in Reesing, and a good coach in Mangino. I would not be surprised at all if Kansas beat OU.

                                OU finishes up the year with a projected top 10 Oklahoma State team in Norman. OU has handled OSU in recent years but OSU is one of two teams to beat OU in Norman the past decade.

                                I always project OU to lose two games and I'm sticking to that prediction this year as well. The schedule is too difficult to go through the season unscathed. Texas' schedule sets up a lot nicer as they play no one out of conference and only have one difficult game away from Austin.

                                I think you greatly underestimate how tough OU's schedule is. Not to mention we need to shake the BCS bowl issues.
                                I don't think those Big 12 games will be that difficult, other than Texas. OU killed absolutely every singly one of them, and roll into town with a very similar team missing guys on OL and Safety, but gaining experience everywhere else. I sure as heck would like to know how those teams plan on stopping Murray, Brown, Gresham, Broyles, etc.
                                That Kansas game last year, the defense was going through a transition because of the loss of Ryan Reynolds and we found out Nic Harris was terrible playing LB in that game. Even said, OU still won by 14 points.
                                Nebraska and Kansas I don't see too much problem winning.
                                Texas Tech lost their stud WR in Crabtree, Harrell, so that will be inexperience for them there.
                                Miami, this game MIGHT be "close", but I doubt it.
                                I really only see one probably loss to Texas in the regular season. I just think that this team is that good, and the defense will surprise a lot of people this year.

                                Yeah, unlike some other team ranked in the top 5 in the Big 12 this year.

Now...I am not saying Miami is going to win...but if you think Oklahoma is walking into Miami Stadium and walking over the 'Canes then you are not very well-informed. OU wins by 10 or less.
                                If OU wins, they will probably win by ~20 points or more. Do people not realize they murdered everybody they played last year, home or away?

                                For my prediction, I really think this team can go undeafeted. However, that is very doubtful.
