This was a ridiculous thing to say unless you're implying that they tried to hurt him.

It was a fluke. To say something that implies that it was alabama's greatness that took McCoy out is stupid.

McCoy got hurt and it was one of the many fortunate things that went alabama's way this year and had nothing to do with how good alabama is.

He didn't get hurt on the Texas sideline...a tackle took him down.

Fluke or no fluke, a Bama player/tackle DID cause it. To say otherwise is indeed foolish.

To me it looks like he is saying ALABAMA has some vicious hitters on defense and they just layed the smack down...They absolutely broke Texas will in that game...Injuries are a part of the game. It was no fluke by any means. Alabama has NFL talent over there on defense(offense too)..That was an old fashioned butt whoopin.

Yeah because Boise sure got demolished by Oklahoma in 2006.

What does 2008 Utah vs 2008 Alabama have to do with 2009 Boise vs 2009 Alabama?

Can we not make the same argument that since 2001, 2002, and 2005 Boise was blown out by SEC teams that 2009 Boise would be blown out as well?

If we live in the same imagination land where the parity in FBS football hasn't been shrinking by the year.

Alabama losing to a non-BCS school last year with most of the same players they have this year is relevant to show it wouldn't be a given they beat BSU the way SEC fans assume it would be. Going back to when these kids were in junior high to look for a comparison does nothing.

                        Second this statement.

Also, I think it's amazing how some people run around here crying SEC Homers SEC Homers yada yada yada..

I guess if the debate involves either a. your team or b. a team from your conference, your opinion doesn't matter.....

P.S. Only Auburn fans are allowed to call Alabama fans "bammers"

The best is why Boise deserves a championship over Alabama, but Marshall doesn't deserve one in 1999.

Yeah, it's funny how the script is completely flipped when ever "his team" is involved.

Boise was in control of all 3 of those games. They were never seriously theatened until TCU.
