Yea, I think things worked out for the best for you guys in that scenario

They enjoy an average of a 10 win season until he retires in 1979, Lou Holtz never coaches there and they sink to mediocrity from then onwards until around 2009, when the trio of Clausen, Tate and Allen and NFL Head Coaching Failure Charlie Weis help them go undefeated, they win the 2010 NC vs. Ohio State.

      So basically like Alabama post-Bryant

You don't think they win more championships with Rockne? I would think that from the 30s through the 50s or 60s they would be unstoppable.

if Bear Bryant hadn't turned down the Dolphins in the '60's?
this would have even impacted Don Shula & the only perfect year in the NFL

My head hurts now, but very well thought out and oddly easy to follow. Les would more than likely be in Ann Arbor right now, and to take it another step, Bo Pelini would then be the man at LSU and Turner Gill possibly heading Nebraska.

If Lou Holtz never left Arkansas

If Bobby Petrino stayed at Louisville

If the Bush Push didn't work

If Matt Flynn didn't complete the pass vs. Auburn 2008

If the refs called Vince Young down in the NC game

If the Colt McCoy didn't get injured vs. Bama

If Urban Meyer stayed at Utah

Don't think that would have helped Michigan do anything different maybe 6 wins instead of 3. But then Denard goes to a Florida school or Oregon. Chaos ensues.

                          How about
....if Butch Davis never left the U for the Browns job.

Huh? Did you post this just so you could get a shot in at Ohio State or something?

If Terelle Pryor chose Michigan their win/loss record would not of changed much and neither would of Ohio State's.

I agree. Michigan had too many problems that year. I say maybe they beat ND and Purdue that year, but that's about it.

As for hOSU, I've said Pryor has only won 2 games by himself; The Rose Bowl (which I think was more of Tressell's game-planning), and Iowa last season.

Yeah the Iowa game first came to mind. Pryor's recievers and supporting cast carried him more then he carried them.
