For the life of me I cannot figure out what Richt tells running backs.

Since 2002 he's crooted 3 *****s and 6 ****s (not including Crowell) and produced exactly one 900 yard rusher from that group who was also the only one to be drafted (Moreno).

It's baffling

Richt's sold the current in-state kids on his dream team bull****. Ray Drew, Isaiah Crowell, Jay Rome, Malcolm Mitchell, etc. all are buying into it.

Heh smart recruiting move I guess, they can have a bright future with Murray at QB if some of these recruits step up in the future.

Except it's nothing all that different for UGA.

With Tressell in 2002, Meyer in 2006, Saban in 2008, Chizik in 2010, and Fisher and Kelly this year (I'm sure there are others I've missed) you had teams that, while hardly talentless, were clearly recruiting at a much higher level than the few previous years with new coaches and new systems.

Richt had the # 4, #4, and #5 classes in 2006, 2009, and 2008.

The first four were signing their first full class with the school. Richt is signing his 10th. What does he have to sell? UGA has been crap since Florida turned around and has dropped off further when Alabama became good. Now with both of them along with Auburn, LSU, and Arkansas ahead of UGA with USC poised to possibly pass them as well, I don't really see what the allure is.

Their 9th consecutive 5+ loss season and their 19th in the last 21 years (with the low losses of 3 and 4)?

That doesn't really scream powerhouse to me.

CB Kenneth Lynn out of Texas, originally an Iowa State commit, decommitted and committed to Kansas... then changed his mind and is now back with ISU.

We'll see who he signs with next month. Who knows...

It's going to come down to Miami, North Carolina, and Florida for Jacoby Brissett who might be the best qb in the class. Looks like Miami is in the lead with NC close behind, don't expect him to go to Florida.
