I am surprised they let him transfer there.

          Prestwood transfer

Notre Dame football: Prestwood to transfer to ND

June 02, 2011|By ERIC HANSEN | South Bend Tribune Staff Writer

Four months after the ink dried on the latest stack of national letters-of-intent, perhaps the most topsy-turvy football recruiting cycle in Irish history took one more benevolent twist.
Jordan Prestwood will end up at Notre Dame after all.
The 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle from Plant City, Fla., originally committed to ND in April of 2010. decommitted in mid-October, chose Florida State in mid November and enrolled at FSU early in January. Thursday, he made another U-turn.
Multiple media outlets are reporting Prestwood obtained his release from FSU and will transfer to Notre Dame.
“I had been hearing rumblings about that for a while, that he wasn’t happy at Florida State,” CBS Sports recruiting analyst Tom Lemming said Thursday night. “This is a big pick-up for Notre Dame.

Good pick up for the Irish..........

Yet another former 4 star RB is transferring to Auburn.

RB Corey Grant of Opelika, AL is leaving Bama and walking on at Auburn per twitter, Auburn boards, etc.

We're gonna have a boatload of talent at RB in 2012 fo shizzle. Dyer, McCalebb, Grant, Blakeley, Mason, plus whoever we land this year.

Looking like what USC did with their running backs. If it remains too crowed sooner or later a few will find themselves leaving and a cluttered depth chart isn't inviting to recruits either.
