His mom is telling reporters she doesn't want him at UF for underlying reasons and is going to try and change his mind before he faxes his LOI Monday. Right now Florida is the best program in the state and they have an o-cord who has turned good college quarterbacks into great college quarterbacks at Notre Dame. The only thing I could see she's scared of is Weis eating him.

What is with the parents' full court press this year? Geez. It seems like there is a large amount of croot's family members meddling with the process.

Anyway, he would be welcome at UF. There isn't much depth at QB right now at UF. Brantley is a Sr(RS), Murphy (So) and Driskel. Reed may be moved back to TE (again), but could probably still play QB if need be and Burton is either going to play safety or fullback/H-back.

As Muschamp stated the other day, all positions are up for grabs on this team.

It is what it is, it's been like this forever here. You can have a thread about Texas vs. OU and an Auburn vs. Alabama battle breaks out. It's pretty ridiculous. I don't anticipate it being put in check anytime in the near future as it's been allowed to go on unabated forever. The parties involved see it as not that big of a deal.

Their "battles" are like watching Fox news. Mildly entertaining, full of propaganda, and in the long term, irritating.

Yeah, recruiting would be so much better if we could just keep those pesky parents and guardians out of it. But wait, didn't Cam want to go to MSU until his meddling dad got a better deal...er, thought he should go somewhere else?
