I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Sounds to me like the family had questions and Saban wouldn't shut up long enough for them to ask them. How is that a lack of respect?I have no pony in this race, but I thought this article was very telling on the the many interesting aspects of college football recruiting.
The pursuit of Jadeveon Clowney. Just a note, it is a fairly long article. We'd all be foolish to think he's the only one, but the Clowney tell-all reveals bad, worse aspects of recruiting.

Kid is gonna be a big boy at WR.

Former Louisville recruit and current UCF signee has asked out of his LOI to UCF. His problem wasn't going to class it was how he did on his finals, which obviously he did awful on and messed up his grades for his classes severely.

Texas Tech picked up two 4*s this week. Delvon Simmons, DT from Pennsylvania, rated as the number 5 DT in the country, and WR Javares McRoy, from Florida, decommited from Florida to play at Tech with his brother Ben McRoy, Javares rated one of the top receivers in the countryBoston Red Sox

Jaxon Shipley, WR for Texas has been living in Austin all semester. Hasn't enrolled, but is working out with Jordan and is able to focus 100% on football right now.Comment
