I hear he wants his year of eligibility back. They are also trying to get Darius Walker to return.

Assuming Florence commits on NSD...that's a strong case for the best DB class in the country. OL class could go from awesome to insane if AU can pull Cyrus or Antonio on NSD.AUBURN TIGERS

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
Bro, I've only heard of a long snapper being offered a scholarship once. It was Tommy Tuberville in 2008. He was fired the next season for horrible crootin.
Nobody in the history of football has ever been excited for their team getting a long snapper. And if he was offered a scholarship it most certainly does take a spot from another player in the class.
With regard to Virginia's recruiting this year, Rivals has their class pegged at 34th best right now. Which is reasonable for now; I'd like to see Mike London get this number into the top 25 eventually, but then again it's not like Oregon and Boise State have dominated recruiting rankings recently so this number isn't always a great indicator of team success.Last edited by Hooe; 01-31-2011, 12:40 PM.Comment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
FSU picks up no. 7 commitment for 2012... Southlake (Groveland, Fla.) kicker Roberto Aguayo
he is the No. 1 ranked kicker and No. 3 ranked punter nationally in the Class of 2012
It is likely that Aguayo will replace Shawn Powell in 2012 as punter, and then take over kicking duties as well in 2013.
offers from:
Florida State
Alabama
Auburn
Clemson
Florida
Georgia
LSU
Miami (FL)
South Florida

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
Same as everyone else?
We only have 23 commitments, and at a maximum add 3 more. That's 26, so two below what the SEC allows but 1 over the NCAA allows to enter in one year (someone won't qualify or greyshirt). And with all that we lost this year + attrition from horrible Tubberville classes, we still won't get to 85. So actually, less than we can...AUBURN - COWBOYS - RANGERS - INTERComment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
He's proven he can recruit. That's not the problem. I totally agree with his game day coaching. I hated his playcalling when he was the O. Coord. here and I hate it even more now.Comment
