He is a great recruiter, but they said that about Neuheisel , too. Jury's still out on how successful Kiffin will be, but I'm very impressed with the class he's putting together at USC

I don't know how guys like Petrino and Kiffin who quit on their teams can convince guys to go to their schools"My body could stand the crutches but my mind couldn't stand the sideline"- Michael JordanComment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
In the end though despite it all, he's recruited well, but even last year they lost to some teams they had no business losing to, and they lost some games they had a chance to win. A lot of that was due to imo, poor gameday management.Comment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
Looks like 3* DE Juda Parker might commit to CU and bring his teammate 3* OL Paulay Asiata(UW commit atm) with him. Both are rated as top 2 players from Hawaii by Rivals. If they both commit, CU would have 3 of top 5 HI recruits. lol Hawaii pipeline.Comment

From looking at the website, it looks like they only rank the players that participate in the camps.Comment

From what i'm hearing Brisset hasn't decided yet and it's pretty much anyone's game but I think he's leaning toward MiamiSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
It's a mess, he hasn't really said anything. The only thing real solid in the past couple days has been the interview with his mom where she said she wanted him to go to Miami. I really have no idea but I'm starting to think Wiscy. I just want him to make a choice because we only have 2 quarterbacks on scholarship right now. Savage just got cleared to transfer to Miami from Rutgers if he wants and if Golden wants. Maybe Jacory can keep it together for a year then we can hand the reigns to Tommy Boy for 2 years.Comment

Thought I would repost this for those that didn't see it last year. Regardless of it being Auburn, it gives you a chance to kind of see what its like on Signing Day at a major college football program. Good vid.

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
I can see why Auburn is doing so well in recruiting.
Seems like they have a lot of charismatic coaches. Especially Trooper Taylor, man that dude is crazy, but in a good way."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."
