Maybe Lou Holtz should always join ESPN on the phone. He's a lot easier to understand and seems to makes more sense.

I've been an FSU fan since the age of six, but that's neither here nor there. Myron Rolle ranks as one of my favorite Noles more for what he did/does off the field than what he did on. I'll leave it at that. We can debate which team has the better GPA later.

I'm just bitter losing Josue Matias to FSU.

Seems like the only reason he went there was because the one coach spoke fluent Spanish, but I think they sold his parents on Tallahassee = Miami, it's not quite South Beach.

His story has flipped quite a bit, at first it was he didn't want to play right away, now it's he can't way to try to play as a Freshman, but he won't. Not because of his knee injury but because he is what? The 6th or 7th OL commit FSU has pulled in. That's a lot of bodies you have to compete against.

Hence which explains why you love FSU. Not even Myron Rolle could inflate the teams GPA.

Right now it seems Greg has been able to find great young men who are amazing on the field and in the classroom i.e Huggins/Shuler/Gause/Nova/Page.

I still think at the very least these kids should be able to answer simple questions without pausing every 2 seconds for an "uhm/uhh/hmm"

Get off your high hoarse. Some of these are 17/18 year old kids, in front of a national audience, surrounded by people, w/ a crazy amount of pressure on them to make a decison that will impact them the rest of their lives. I think a little stuttering is understandable.

Get off your high hoarse. Some of these are 17/18 year old kids, in front of a national audience, surrounded by people, w/ a crazy amount of pressure on them to make a decison that will impact them the rest of their lives. I think a little stuttering is understandable.

If they can't answer a simple why did you pick x school, what are they going to do when they don't make it to the NFL and have to actually interview for a job?

I heard on the radio that Vandy signed a 4-star dual-threat QB from Virginia.

I wonder if he is good enough to play right away. Vandy's QB play was abysmal last season.

I was a little surprised about that myself. I seriously doubt he'll see much pt as a Frosh either. Trick will have them all compete of course, but it will likely be maybe two before he starts. If Jimbo and crew actually sold him on Tally being like South Beach, then WOW! hahaha, that's one amazing sell.

In all honesty I like Rutgers. Good, inspiring coach with a passion for the game and some solid returning starters. RU has given the NY/NJ area a program to rally behind in recent years which is great for North East football.

Maybe but he didn't look or sound very sure of the choice. Probably needed more time either way but didn't want to disappoint everyone showing up for the announcement and the whole ESPN deal. Lots of pressure on these kids.

It seemed to be a given that he would sit a year no matter what, still rehabbing his knee injury. But, what irked a lot of Rutgers fans is that Josue spent nearly the entire year waiting to make a choice, and then he picks Rutgers, and two days later he balks and goes to FSU. FSU pressured him hard, they were up here as he was leaving his house for his RU Official, and they were waiting for him when he got back.

Seems like ESPN lists Florida amongst every kid's final teams even when they shouldn't be.
