    Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread

This is a freakin recruiting thread. If you want to talk about who has more luxury vehicles, pm each other.

I'm so sick of seeing these types of bull**** arguments everywhere you look in the CFB thread. I mean really fellas, your arguing over who has the most Bentleys?

College Football doesn't revolve around Auburn and Alabama, as crazy as it may sound to a certain few of you.

I'm not one to complain, but something needs to be done about this.

alabama is a premire program au fans, quit hatin and worry about your own program
btw alabama does have more money than auburn
Where 92 All-Americans happen; where 31 bowl victorys happen; where 21 SEC championships happen; where 12 National Championships happen; where Alabama happens, is where amazing happens.

Looks like Christian LeMay committed to Georgia (should help FSU out with Nick Marshall).

I expected that. Especially with the mass exodus of QBs from Georgia lately. Plenty of opportunity for quick PT in Athens.

Certainly better than him going to Clemson. FSU was on LeMay hard since his sophomore year but then just fell off his map.

                Jimbo likes Marshall more.

Who leads for Marshall? I thought it was UGA, but I'd have to guess LeMay puts a cramp in that thinking. Especially if coaches remind Marshall how well it worked out the last time UGA signed two elite QBs in the same class.

"As for Florida State's quarterback recruiting efforts, Lemay to Georgia means that Wilcox Co. Georgia QB Nick Marshall is not Georgia's top quarterback target. He is Florida State's top quarterback target and while there is a chance he could go to the Dawgs as UGA is looking to take two quarterbacks (and his cousin plays for UGA), the greater likelihood is that he becomes a 'Nole."

I read that article and I hope Fisher can reel in Nick Marshall.

At this point in time, I wouldn't worry about Nick Marshall going anywhere else.

Irish land another 5* OL. Pretty damn happy with what kelly is doing in South Bend right now. This is the second 5* OL he has landed in the last 4 days, and he is starting to put together a nice little class for this year....

The following players have made verbal commitments to play football at Notre Dame beginning in 2011. The first day players can sign a national letter-of-intent is Feb. 2.

Brad Carrico; 6-6, 255, DE; Dublin, Ohio (Coffman)4*
other offers:Cincy, Illinois, West Virginia, Purdue

Jordan Prestwood; 6-6, 265, OL; Plant City, Fla. (Plant City)5*
other offers: USC, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee

                          Kyle Brindza; 6-2, 195, K/P; Canton, Mich. (Plymouth)4*
                          other offers: Michigan

                          Matthias Farley; 6-1, 185, CB; Charlotte, N.C. (Christian)4*
other offers: UCLA, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Maryland

Tony Springmann; 6-6, 260, DE; Fort Wayne, Ind. (Bishop Dwenger)4*
other offers: Stanford, Purdue, Michigan State, Louisville, Boston College

Conor Hanratty; 6-5, 300, OL; New Canaan, Conn. (New Canaan)4*
other offers: Stanford, Wisconsin, California, Clemson, Florida State, Maryland

Jarrett Grace; 6-4, 235, LB; Cincinnati, Ohio (Colerain)4*
other offers: Colorado, Wisconsin, Stanford, Cincy, North Carolina State, West Virgina

Ben Koyack; 6-5, 235, TE; Oil City, Pa. (Oil City)4*
other offers: LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, USC, Virginia Tech

                          Matthew Hegarty; 6-5, 265, OL; Aztec, N.M. (Aztec)5*
other offers: USC, UCLA, Texas, Texas Tech, Stanford, Oklahoma, Nebraska, LSU, Florida State, California, Auburn

Brian is doing a nice job of putting together a very strong OL for the next 4 years, and shedding away the fears that he could not recruit against the some of the biggest programs in the nation!

Rare that I give praise to ND, but I think getting Kelly was the best thing they've done in years.
