Everyone was going into panic mode on the RU Rivals page, but I'm pretty certain RU didn't offer, and it was more a shot to PSU as they really wanted him.

Gonzaga High 3-Star Quarterback Kevin Hogan to Stanford.

This is the 9th Quarterback prospect to sign or commit to Stanford from the 2009 class until now (2010 SC QB David Olson committed not to long ago to greyshirt). One has to wonder when QB became a more than one man-per-snap position.


Stanford is killing it now in Recruiting with a decent football program being ran by a great coach in Harbaugh and to add Academics that school has tons to offer recruits now.

They also have to over-recruit due to their academic standards and seem to lose 3 players a year for that reason alone.

I know RU was really going after Hogan hard, but I can't hold it against anyone who wants to take advantage of the Stanford education you can get there.

OL and QB are the two positions I trust this coaching staff with without hesitation. We're in on a ton of OL, so if RR and Frey like Miller enough to take him, that's good enough for me. And Sousa has all the physical tools at QB, he's just really raw and inexperienced - which makes him the perfect QB to take this year, he'll have plenty of time to sit behind Forcier/Robinson/Gardner.

4* HB Chavelle Buie has committed to Rutgers. Pretty solid offer list.

Good pick-up for Rutgers, suprises me. West Virginia has a guy that is high on them in Demetrius Alston.

2010 #1 Punter recruit Matt Darr has signed with UT. If you have seen our special teams play in the last few years, you would understand how big of a get this is. He got out of his LOI to Fresno State and will be on the field this fall with no "sit out" period.

Under what pretenses did they release him from the LOI?

This is a huge get for the Bucks. Now if we could get DePriest and Grant to commit this class would push for the best in the nation.
