His coach has said he's better then Phillip was at this point, the problem with judging him by his HS games is his complete lack of talent around him

Teddy Bridgewater decommited from the U, Miami is well on track to the worst recruiting class in the last 30 years.

Of course his dad is going to say he is better than Phillip at this point, which by the way is a load of crap. I saw Phillip when he was in high school and Phillip was much more polished than Steven.
Steven wont be ready to take the field until he is a RS Junior imo. But, who knows, if LSU has a great QB coach who can work with him then maybe he might be able to as a RS SOPH but I doubt it.

No doubt with JJ and JL being seniors and Met having 3 years of eligibility left, it's stupid if he doesn't RS. IMO JL and Bailey are done and JJ/Met split PT next year in a 2-QB system ala UF 06. Of course, we've tried to play masterplan before and that's why were in the situation we're in now.

Smart move on his part. Hilliard is miles ahead of him. Right now it's a toss-up between us and Bammer. Ware, Hillard, Gore, Blue, Ford, McGee. We're set with or without him.

Call me when Hilliard de-commits if you want me to freak.

It was going to be a small class so that will soften the blow a little bit. Also Bridgewater was another Jacory Harris so it isn't a big loss.

According to numerous articles, most of, if not all, the recruits will commit back if a known head coach takes the job, plus more recruits are expected to sign too.

Yes Bridgewater can go somewhere else, please. OG Marcus Jackson has also decommited from Mami.

Yeah LSU's backfield is already crowded and Hilliard would be above him, as long as La'El Collins doesn't fall him it's all good.

Rivers won't play for presumably aleast until he's atleast RS SO which is why he's considered the future, if he was good enough to start right away I wouldn't be caring about Mettenberger and he wouldn't considered a 3 star recruit(which if i believe is what phillip was)

"Tank" Carradine is really getting the full court press from Alabama. He currently holds offers from Arkansas, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Georgia, and Florida State in addition to Alabama. He's arguably the #1 JUCO prospect(Carradine is #2 on Rivals right behind Jesse Williams). I really hope we get him, he'd be a juge asset to our pass rush in '11.

It is definitely coming down to Alabama and Florida State. I hope Jimbo is a better salesman than Saban.

Fisher did learn under Saban, so I wouldn't be surprised to see FSU get him.

Saban had an in-home with him this week.

                                Where'd you hear this?

The rumor has always been around for the past few months that he'd end up at Cal. But he was at Oregon last week, and reportedly had a great time.

He'd be a great get for UW, but the more I hear about Bishop Sankey the more I'd like the Huskies to get him. Plus to steal him from the Cougars would be make it pretty sweet.
