Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
Steven wont be ready to take the field until he is a RS Junior imo. But, who knows, if LSU has a great QB coach who can work with him then maybe he might be able to as a RS SOPH but I doubt it.Last edited by seasprite; 12-07-2010, 09:39 AM.Comment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
Of course his dad is going to say he is better than Phillip at this point, which by the way is a load of crap. I saw Phillip when he was in high school and Phillip was much more polished than Steven.

Smart move on his part. Hilliard is miles ahead of him. Right now it's a toss-up between us and Bammer. Ware, Hillard, Gore, Blue, Ford, McGee. We're set with or without him.
Call me when Hilliard de-commits if you want me to freak. And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

It was going to be a small class so that will soften the blow a little bit. Also Bridgewater was another Jacory Harris so it isn't a big loss.Comment

According to numerous articles, most of, if not all, the recruits will commit back if a known head coach takes the job, plus more recruits are expected to sign too.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
Yeah LSU's backfield is already crowded and Hilliard would be above him, as long as La'El Collins doesn't fall him it's all good.
Rivers won't play for presumably aleast until he's atleast RS SO which is why he's considered the future, if he was good enough to start right away I wouldn't be caring about Mettenberger and he wouldn't considered a 3 star recruit(which if i believe is what phillip was)Last edited by Chrisksaint; 12-07-2010, 06:08 PM.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

"Tank" Carradine is really getting the full court press from Alabama. He currently holds offers from Arkansas, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Georgia, and Florida State in addition to Alabama. He's arguably the #1 JUCO prospect(Carradine is #2 on Rivals right behind Jesse Williams). I really hope we get him, he'd be a juge asset to our pass rush in '11.Twitter

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
The rumor has always been around for the past few months that he'd end up at Cal. But he was at Oregon last week, and reportedly had a great time.
He'd be a great get for UW, but the more I hear about Bishop Sankey the more I'd like the Huskies to get him. Plus to steal him from the Cougars would be make it pretty sweet."You should only drink to enhance your social skills." -Barney GumbleComment
