Rutgers does not play Miami in the next 3 years so what is the reason? Unless their is some imminent deal for Rutgers to go to the ACC, This is a scumbag move.

Not if you know the recruiting history between Schiano and Golden/D'Onofrio

D'Onofrio is one of the dirtiest recruiters around, and bailed on Greg went to Virginia taking half of the recruiting class with him.

Also, every recruit knows when they sign that LOI there are certain schools that are off limits, Rivals, other Conference Teams, and teams in which you recruit a lot from.

Miami being in the part of Florida that Greg tries to recruit from it makes sense that way.

Also there is a rumored RU/Miami game in 2013 at Yankee Stadium.

Also tonight it came out in the NJ Papers that Greg approved 17 out of 25 schools for Tom to explore transferring to.

David Oku and Rod Wilks both have left Tennessee. transfer destinations are unknown.

They named off a few schools on his list including Baylor, Miami, and Washington. I think they said 2 or 3 more were at the top of his list but I forget who they were.

Edit: San Diego St., Tennessee St., and New Mexico.

I really don't understand Washington being one of his choices either. They are probably going to do all they can with Nick Montana, and Price also may be pretty good. I'm not sure what Miami has in the future, but I'm sure some Canes fan could elaborate on that. I figure he should just go to one of the smaller non-BCS schools if he wants to start.

I bet he ends up going to a mid-major. There's really no point in a major program taking him at this point.
