Re: BCS Champ Prediction
Question for those that have either gone to or seriously looked into going to a National Championship game. Three of my friends and I have decided to go to the BCS title game this year if any of our teams make it (Nebraska, Bama, Texas, or the U). How much should I be looking to save? I was thinking between $2000-$2500. Is that too little?Comment

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
If OU is able to play outside of Norman, then maybe..maybe they'll be able to make it to national championship game. They benefit from playing A&M, Tech, and Mizzou at home.
My guess is OU will lose at FSU and win in Stillwater.11-2Comment

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
With the obvious choice being Oklahoma and Alabama.. I'm going to go with a team that I believe just threw them into the picture with the acquisition of Russell Wilson, the Wisconsin Badgers and the team with the best all-around quarterback in the NCAA in the Stanford Cardinals.--

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
I am going to stick to my nostalgia.
Nebraska vs. Florida St. Maybe we can bring back Charlie Ward and Tommie Frazier, two of the greatest players in the history of college football.
I'd put either of those two up against Cam Newton, Matt Leinart, Vince Young or Tim Tebow any day of the week.Comment

I'd probably save around $3,000-$3,200.Twitter

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
This is probably pretty accurate. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 3K, that would be per person obviously, but you might be able to cut that cost to around $2500 depending on sleeping arrangements. Trying to do it for your original thought of $2K would probably get you there, but have you in Top Romen territory food wise.Golf: Bubba

Thanks for the responses guys. $3000 might be too much. Maybe we can just go to NOLA and not go to the gameComment

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
Just for kicks I am going to be very bias and say Miami. Al Golden will join the crowd of Miami coaches to win a national title in their first season as the HC there.
Is it possible? Sure, anything is. Really though, the toughest teams on their schedule are FSU, VT, and OSU. I can see them beating OSU this year and V too, but I can also see them losing those games as well. The FSU game will be the toughest game of the year easily, but if Miami is unbeaten after the FSU game, then I see them easily finishing the season out 12-0 before the ACC Title game. The thing is, I highly doubt any of this happens. Miami may get to the ACC title game at something like 9-3 or 10-2, but going undefeated is tough obviously and I really just don't have the confidence to say this team will. They definitely have the schedule to do so if they play to their potential. The thing is, potential is worthless until you reach it.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
