Re: BCS Champ Prediction
If Russell Wilson pans out, which is more likely than not, you gotta have Wisconsin in the discussion. Could be a year where you have the SEC champion, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and a non-BCS all undefeated. Then what do you do?Twitter

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
Oklahoma is likely to be preseason #1, with Bama and LSU both in the preseason top 5, so if one of those is the undefeated SEC champ, there's your BCS title game. Actually, any undefeated SEC champ will likely get the benefit of the doubt and be in the game, so it could be Vandy and it wouldn't matter.

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
I don't necessarily believe that, but this will be the big question if the undefeated SEC Champion is Kentucky, Vandy, Miss St., Ole Miss, Tennessee, and possibly Georgia or South CarolinaComment

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
If an SEC champ, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and a non-AQ go undefeated, it's pretty safe to say the non-AQ won't get in and the SEC champ will. As far as OU and Wisconsin, it's a tough one. Yeah Oklahoma will most likely start out ranked ahead of them but we've seen #1 teams get jumped without losing before. I think it would all depend on sos and style points.NCAA: BSU/GONZ
NFL: SEA
NBA: POR
MLB: SEA
EFL: BHA
MLS: PORComment

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
It would certainly be an interesting debate. Should the champion from a conference that's won 5 straight BCS titles be in no matter what if they're undefeated?

I disagree with you here, conference schedule and strength should definitely play a role considering the current BCS setup.Comment

It should be the two best teams at the end of the year.Last edited by bkrich83; 07-08-2011, 10:44 AM.Comment

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
i always say the two teams with the best resumes. the problem with the voters is theyll fall into the trap of hype and tradition. super high powered offense putting up huge numbers? doesnt matter that you dont have a top two resume and your defense is porous.
i'll be a homer and say south carolina vs florida state. the pattern of the past five years probably says alabama vs oregon.Comment

Re: BCS Champ Prediction
I agree with both points, but you know that would be the main question that ESPN would continue to poseComment
