Not according to the ND AD. He said there are no plans for an annual game with Texas.Comment

Re: A&M to the SEC starting to blow up again on Twitter
Another reason why the Irish will never join the Big (not quite) XII:
"Additionally, the Irish love having their other sports in the Big East and I am not just talking about basketball. The Irish care about many sports that simply aren't even sponsored in the Big 12 (men's soccer, ice hockey, lacrosse, etc...)."
Let's say Texas, OU, OSU, Tech form a conference with Pitt, BC, BYU, ND and whoever else, most likely a play for having your own television deal will not be an issue.
Texas is making more than any school in the nation with it's deal in the dead big 12. Imagine if a new conference was formed, a national conference. They are picking up $300M over 20 years for the LHN and they are making about $20M in the Big 12 right now. That pretty much blows the SEC out of the water.Comment

Re: A&M to the SEC starting to blow up again on Twitter
And our friend Chip Brown chimes in with this little piece of information that A&M will be leaving the Big 12 tomorrow and will pay between 10 to 12 million plus forfeit all TV money this year. I know, I know his word is questionable at best.

Yeah i misread it was Mack Brown who said he wanted to keep the rivalry even if the teams were in different conferences. Typical Mack talking out of his backsideComment

Re: A&M to the SEC starting to blow up again on Twitter
All indications from all sources are that this is the real deal. On an Auburn board someone said A&M got 9 yes votes from the 12 SEC presidents. 9 was the minimum needed for approval. If not Tuesday, it will be no later than Thursday that this becomes official and A&M is gone. Now time for Notre Dame!
P.S. Thanks for the free cash Aggies!Comment

Re: A&M to the SEC starting to blow up again on Twitter
Don't kid yourself. Notre Dame will not join the Big 12.
Several pages ago, you were slamming A&M left and right for this move, and saying you were worried about what would happen if it went down. And now you're posting smilies and thanking A&M for leaving? Yeah, right....Comment

Re: A&M to the SEC starting to blow up again on Twitter
Also, in light of all of the new facts I could not be less worried about the Big XII. The situation has changed dramatically. We will be fine, worst case scenario is replace A&M with BYU. And that is the worst outcome. Looking forward to a yell leader-less conference!Comment

To quote a certain poster from way back in this thread...
"its time to chuckle at some folks in this thread"
Texas A&M is gone from the Big 12 and will be a member of the SEC shortly.
Look forward to it.AUBURN TIGERS
