Dont get uptight when you and/or others who will remain nameless (and root for Iowa State) decide to take shots earlier in the thread then have to eat crow at the actual outcome.

I was laughing and continue to laugh at you and others who called this a done deal weeks ago when it was so far from being so.

Some people think they know things and act like it and it turns out that they know nothing. Even broken clocks like that are right twice a day.

I'd never take shots at Iowa St fans - unless they were a total jacka$$. As an Ark fan i respect them too much because they stick with their team through thick and (90% of the time) thin. Can't help but respect that, especially when there's a choice to switch to Iowa.

If the SEC finds and agrees on a 14th team, I can see this thing happening imminently. Without that 14th team, I dont see the SEC bringing aTm in, I could be wrong(I am certainly able to admit it) but Clemson will not be that 14th team and neither will FSU.

OS Rule 101: If you are gonna have the cajones to post clear digs at folks such as your "time to laugh at some folks" gem....don't become a victim in a future post when your wrong. If you've been on OS for awhile, and you have, you should know this. Just about everyone who posts regularly and in deep discussions has been wrong/right at various times and other folks let them know when they are. Stronger stances are reminded even further.

A&M has been done for a while now. They weren't going to go through all of this hub bub without knowing exactly where the bread was going to be buttered afterward. Anyone who has some common sense knows that most business deals are done months before the "official announcement" in secluded hallways, behind closed doors, etc. I can guarantee you Slive and the folks in College Station had the majority of this deal done way before it ever went public.

The delay on the announcement, etc. was just like any other business merger, etc. Legal issues had to be resolved, clear separation from one entity to avoid potential legal hassles by being invited by another entity and so on and so forth.

That being said...it's always enjoyable being right.

According to Schad it looks like the wheels are starting to turn faster. I still dont see why the SEC would only invite one team.
