True. UNC always seems to be loaded with talent. Too bad they still suck and have now lost to NC State for five long years (and NCSU flat out sucked some of those years).

But the vast majority of their fans only care about basketball, anyways, and they probably will hammer NCSU in basketball this year, but I'll take pride in whatever sport I can.

I understand that $$$ drives the college football bowl season. But how are these Bowls making money? According to the Box scores on ESPN.com:

New Mexico Bowl: ATTENDANCE: 25,762
Potato Bowl: ATTENDANCE: 28,076
R&L Carrier Bowl: ATTENDANCE: 42,841
Poinsettia Bowl: ATTENDANCE: 24,607
Maaco Bowl: ATTENDANCE: 35,720
Hawaii Bowl: ATTENDANCE: 32,630

Sponsers must be getting a return on these games, or they wouldn't be doing them. But I still don't understand how? I can't imagine that the TV ratings are much better either.
