Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
Tyler Provo was pretty much a lock for awhile now, real solid pick up. Doug Marrone has certainly been getting some real solid kids lately, hopefully his game day coaching will catch up with his recruiting. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
Three-star offensive tackle Ja’Braylin Thomas (Weimar, Texas) said he had offers from Texas and LSU, and many felt he would choose between the two once he decided to announce his verbal commitment. Those two schools were the first to offer.
On Wednesday, however, Thomas decided to go with his gut and accept his third offer – a less sexier option in the eyes of many but a place he called a more familiar setting.
Thomas verbally committed to Houston and became the Cougars fifth commit of the 2013 recruiting class. At 6-foot-6 and 310 pounds, Thomas is ranked No. 39 among 2013 offensive tackles nationally. He is listed as the 66th-best player in Texas in his class.ACCSportsNation.com - A Tradition Of Excellence...Then, Now, And Always!Comment

The football website for College of the Sequoias (Visalia, Calif.) brags about having 162 of the 182 players since 2005 earn four-year scholarships. Defensive backs Stormy Butler and Darren Doston will continue the trend.
Butler and Doston both announced their verbal commitments to Texas Tech on Wednesday. The junior college standouts, both originally from Florida, became the sixth and seventh commitments of the Red Raiders’ 2013 recruiting class. Butler and Doston, who were recruited by Texas Tech cornerbacks coach John Lovett, also are the Red Raiders’ first out-of-state commitments in the class.ACCSportsNation.com - A Tradition Of Excellence...Then, Now, And Always!Comment
