    I'll take '95 Nebraska.

    The '01 Canes lacked quality coaching. Coker had a national title fall into his lap with that team.

    I don't think the '01 Canes could stop the option if Frazier and company were running it.

        This ALWAYS becomes the "95 Huskers vs 01 Canes" Thread.

        That being said..as I say every year....95 Nebraska.

        I don't care how many NFL players each team had, etc. That was the best COLLEGE football team I've ever seen.

        They would almost seem to tell their opponents what play they were going to run...then run it anyway and bulldoze every guy in their path. Reminded me of a bunch of high school bullies. They took everyone's milk money with no problem whatsoever.

        I would have loved to see a game pitting these two teams against each other.

            Which is why I have felt that the 01 Cane team was better.....I mean they had to overcome Larry Coker and still were a dominant team

                They were better. Deeper, faster and just as physical. Nebraska would have a hard time wearing them down with the option because Miami had more depth than anyone they faced by a landslide. Miami was so fast, getting to edge would have been problematic.

                    Yeah, the team speed on that defense for Miami was incredible as well. Im with AA though and the thought is probably shared by most that it would be great it we could actually see these two teams on the field play against each other. Would be "the game of the century" imo.

                            This is a 100% HOMER post....ill admit it, so dont grill me for it. 08 Gators. (13-1) National champs. Only loss was to ole miss because of a missed extra point. Followed by "the promise"
                            As a class 2-national titles, 2 SEC championships, Hiesman trophy. I think we could've been able to compete the the 95 huskers and 01 canes. They're probably better teams. But I figured id change things up and post a different tea

                                    I know, I know.I agree, I was just throwing the best gator team I could think of. I'm going to be forever haunted by that game. But its a blemish on an other wise very good team.

                                            After these two teams, there's a loooong drop off.

                                                            that would be a debate. off the top of my head id go with 89 miami. they lost at fsu by 14 that year, but it was without the starting qb at the time
