Mold is on the players not wiping down equipment. Staph isn't and should be taken care of by the school. There are plenty of problems that the school should be taking care, like the food on gameday. The players can control the mold and keep the locker room clean. Staph can happen anywhere though and the players can't control that.

It's on the school to hire a janitor to clean the facilities. Mold is not on the players.

It's on the players to clean the visitor's locker room too? Lamar University refused to use the locker room because of the mildew and mold on the walls and ceilings of the visitor's locker room.

It's on the University to have a janitor to clean those facilities.

Grambling State football players complained of mold and mildew in facilities, having to pay for Gatorade out of their own pockets and even said which assistants they thought would make a good interim coach after the firing of Doug Williams in a letter to

            My favorite part...

But Sutton said Williams' dismissal was not related to his "wins or losses, or X's and O's. Not at all." When asked to clarify why Williams was let go if not because of his record, Sutton said, "We don't discuss personnel matters."
Reportedly, he was fired because he went around the Athletic Department and raised the funds for a new floor for the weight room. The AD confiscated the floor and its currently locked up in an adjacent building. Now that's how you treat one of your most famous alumni.

A quirk in the new formula puts three Football Championship Subdivision in the top 10 of a computer ranking used by the BCS.

                          I've just got to say....

I'm 35 years old and I've watched a lot of Auburn football in my lifetime. The feeling I had walking out of Jordan Hare Stadium last year (at halftime, which I NEVER do) compared to the feeling I had Saturday afternoon......can't even describe it.

The complete 180 degree turnaround Gus Malzahn has done in about 10 months is nothing short of miraculous. The talent was there last year as our recruiting rankings every year were top 10 under Chiz. But the complete change in mindset, discipline, toughness.... man it's just incredible.

I said on these boards preseason I thought we'd be improved. I thought we might even reach 9 games if EVERYTHING went our way.

But now, other than Alabama, I'd expect Auburn to be favored in every game left on our schedule. Anyone who thought, even 1 month ago, that Auburn would possibly be 10-1 heading into the Iron Bowl would be locked up in a mental institution.

                          We've had some great 1 year turnarounds such as 92 (5-6) to 93 (11-0), 03 (8-5) to 04 (13-0), 09 (8-5) to 10 (14-0)...but to go from 3-9 to possibly 10-2 or 11-1??

Games left to play, but the fact I was even paying attention to BCS standings, etc. last night speaks VOLUMES about what Gus Malzahn is doing at Auburn. Coach of the Year in my opinion so far.

Yeah, that's just pathetic. And I'm pretty sure it hits a soft spot for both of us.

The team has decided to return and finish the season with a little convincing from former coach Doug Williams.
