Re: LSU Dismisses Tyrann Mathieu
He's not a thug, cause from all indication he's a smart good guy. He's just made some stupid decisions in regards to how he spends his free time something that's so avoidableSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: LSU Dismisses Tyrann Mathieu
He still knows that he was nationally recognized athlete with millions looking at him under a microscope. He was a heisman candidate and award winner im pretty sure somebody should have been grooming him for stardom. Im not saying his career is over, if his playmaking abilities transfer over to the nfl then all this will.be behind him but if the dont then this will be a huge factor in future discussions about for years to come.
Im mot saying hes a bad kid, he just made bad decisions, the same bad decision over and over and over.Comment

Re: LSU Dismisses Tyrann Mathieu
I liked Mathieu, I thought he could be the next Woodson, I'm curious to see his next move, will he give up a year and stay FBS or go down to FCS or below and start immediately? My opinion on him hasnt changed, everyone does something stupid in college...Native Georgian. Adopted Texan.Comment

Re: LSU Dismisses Tyrann Mathieu
Agreed. If he were a "good kid," he would still be on the team. A talented athlete does not a good person make.Texans - Cougars - Astros - Rockets - Dynamo - Chelsea - LightningComment

Re: LSU Dismisses Tyrann Mathieu
To be honest, I never truly liked The Honey Badger.
I was actually disappointed and shocked when he got #7 instead of Mo'. That being said, why would anyone call him the next Woodson? If anything give that to Morris or Patrick.Comment

Re: LSU Dismisses Tyrann Mathieu
It's the returning, Patrick is a phenomenal returner, but his numbers are much lower in college he shined in returning as a rookie though, Morris didn't have to many TDs on returns either, Mathieu had 2 last season as a sophomore, he looked like he could put up similiar numbers to Woodson before going to the next level, maybe he still will.Native Georgian. Re: LSU Dismisses Tyrann Mathieu
This reminds me so much of the Sean Payton thing.
In that things went from "OMG SEAN PAYTON IS TEH AWESOME" to "Meh. We don't really need him." in a ****ing instant. Same thing's happening with Mathieu.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

He will still make millions, he just wont be a top tier pick but after he straightens himself out and he keeps his talent people will pay him top dollar.Currently playing FIFA 2013 & DOTA 2 ( PC )

Re: LSU Dismisses Tyrann Mathieu
Sooo if they are similar what you're saying is that now in every LSU game we'll be getting "Can LSU move on without Tyrann Mathieu" every 5 seconds until it makes you cry?Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: LSU Dismisses Tyrann Mathieu
As for Mathieu's dismissal, Watson said it best, it's just a dent in a still very good LSU defense. Nothing more.Last edited by 19; 08-10-2012, 06:08 PM.Comment

Former LSU teammate Josh Jasper tweets that Tyrann Mathieu has transferred to McNeese State, which likely means he'll play in 2012.Comment
