Offensively? Definitely. Rees was exceptional. I don't remember him ever having a game like that.

That said the defense was very underwhelming IMO. 6 points allowed is great, but let's be real.. Temple missed 2 FG's and failed to convert a 4th and goal. They had their chances to make it a game.

It's only 1 game, but we're going to have to be a lot sharper next week. Michigan will be a tough test.

I was trying to look exclusively at the positive. Don't go throwing a wet blanket. Yeah the defense wasn't the sharpest but as Aaron Murray unknowingly coined the term. Notre Dame was "easin' into the season" with Temple as their first game.

I expect next week to be a better indicator of how this team plays this season.

What a wacky game. Aaron Murray threw that like he wanted to hit the DE.

Nick Marshall overthrowing and then Jonathan Wallace overthrowing a guy who didn't have a guy within 20 yards....

Also the holding call that brought back a TD and had to settle for a field goal.

We're rusty like I expected for the first game.

Now the offensive line blocking in NCAA Football 14 is WAY too good compared to what we are seeing in these games today.

I agree. I don't judge too much on the 1st game. These kids don't get preseason games so it's expected there will be some sloppiness/rust. I just wouldn't say they looked very good, that's all. I will say the D played MUCH better in the 2nd half.

Anyway back to enjoying this UGA/Clemson game...

                    good times.

all though I think Jacory Harris bad is better reference.

LT glitch for UGA. Wasn't fixed in the patch.

our DE's are sitting back and licking their chops. Clemson is eating up UGA on the edges. Murray will be running for his life all game.

                            McNeese State - 53
                            South Florida - 21

                            5:37 left in the fourth.

                            Good Lord.

And then there's #25 Oregon State allowing Eastern Washington to rack up 625 yards of total offense in their 49-46 win.
