I've never understood why Golson has gotten any Heisman hype. I mean, he's a good player, but nowhere near Heisman material, IMO. I guess it's all in the jersey.

ND in the top 10. It's for ratings. They aren't playoff worthy with their roster. I do think they can get there in 1-2 years

Seemed like we got a bull**** penalty there, but I'll take it.

Because of the position he plays at the school he plays for. Brayden Tyler Quinn came in 4th in the vote his junior year and 3rd his senior year.

You see, there, Golson needs to make that a TD. Horribly under-thrown to a wide open receiver and only bailed out on a PI call.

I'm sorry but when has Golson ever got Heisman hype? Maybe earlier this year but that's understandable given his play and the thought that he had improved a lot from his freshman season.

That was just flat out stupid for Smith to be near that ball.

After the undefeated season. A lot of the the talking heads said that he could win the Heisman.

Never mind then. Typical dumb media hype.

At this point I am of the firm belief that Alabama may just as well not even take the field on any special teams play. This is the worst special teams unit in the country by a mile.

There is literally no excuse at all to justify our special teams this year.

For my fellow Irish fans, my dad would like to see them give Zaire a chance, while I think that'd be a bit hasty, I do find the turnover trend disturbing.

                            Thoughts on this matter?

Edit: and by "a bit hasty" I mean I've told him that's a bad idea.

Media overhyping a Notre Dame player, that's new.

Not a big Notre Dame fan, but Zaire is fun to watch. I enjoyed watching him when he got some time against Rice(?).
