    Re: Week 6 Discussion

If Florida can avoid the letdown against Mizzou that should setup a battle of undefeated teams at tiger stadium the next week. It's amazing how quick McElwain has got Florida playing quality ball again.

Wow...but I expect that to change drastically by Saturday. Right now I pounding NW. Because I think it will be a close one.

By drastically I mean by like 3-4 points.

One part of me thinks that this will be a tough game. The other part of thinks that it's still Northwestern.

                NEWS!

LSU and South Carolina being played at Williams Brice in Columbia is in serious jeopardy.

More than one is being talked about it...Our intentions are to stay on schedule and play here in Columbia, but it’s not a definite,”
The stadium is fine, South Carolina is more concerned with fan safety getting to the game and getting home.

Clemson plays host to Georgia Tech (Atlanta is 3 hours away and Bobby Dodd seats 25,000 less than Williams Brice), the Georgia Dome has a Georgia State and Falcons game, Bank Of America in Charlotte is open but a NASCAR race there makes hotels impossible, but Georgia and Auburn are both away this week. Playing the game in Baton Rouge is the Plan Z, and cancelling the game outright is all but off the table, because that would drop LSU down to 10 games on the season.

I remember a few weeks ago when people were shocked a ranked BYU team was an underdog to Michigan by 6-7 points....

                  Rankings mean nothing.

This is at the Big House. Michigan will win the game and shut down Northwestern.

Neutral site locations out of the equation. Will either be in Columbia or Baton Rouge.

While I'm excited that I get an extra game in Tiger Stadium (or get one back because of McNeese), I think it's important to stay grounded and remember the reason this is happening.

I was at the game in Boulder last weekend and I was impressed by CU's ability to keep the game close. Talent eventually won out and Oregon's defense played very well in the 2nd half.

Excited to see what the Buffs can do at Arizona State. Can't predict a win, but hot damn, would love to see one.
I love John Fox press conferences.

But really, this is pretty much like playing with house money. hard to be upset when it was never meant to be a home game
